"This wolf is quite ferocious. I personally think that not many people could handle it. If you can return safely and bring the wolf back with you, I will teach you a new set of techniques," said Master Ziyin.

Upon hearing the words "new cultivation technique," Lin Yaoxie immediately became interested and excitedly said, "I must capture this vicious wolf."

"Such arrogance," Ling Yue said to Lin Yaoxie as he walked over.

The two looked at each other.

Lin Yaoxie said, "Alright, alright, stop talking. We'll only know when we get down the mountain. Whether I can take down this hungry wolf or not isn't up to anyone to decide."

So, Master Ziyin led them down the mountain. When they arrived, the forest was dense and the place looked rather chaotic.

After Ziyin Zhenren finished speaking, he left.

Lin Yaoxie and Ling Yue exchanged a glance, and then Lin Yaoxie said, "Senior brother, let's go together."

As darkness fell, many small animals roamed around. Lin Yaoxie happened to have brought a bow and arrow with him when he went out. He picked up an arrow and shot one of the small animals.

Lin Yaoxie went over and picked it up.

After picking it up, she walked up to Ling Yue and said happily, "Senior brother, we're going to have meat tonight!"

Lin Yaoxie lunged at the wolf's head again, but the wolf dodged it and instead swung its claws towards Lin Yaoxie's stomach.

Lin Yaoxie was caught off guard and the wolf grabbed his stomach.

Then Lin Yaoxie flew out.

Lin Yaoxie glanced at his stomach, where the wolf had scratched the skin, and sighed helplessly. He stood up, and the other disciples walked over to him and helped him up.

"How are you?" the others asked with concern.

Chapter Seventy: The Wolf Skin

Lin Yaoxie applied the medicine to his wound, and a cooling sensation came over him, which made him feel a little better. He stood up from the ground.

His disciples were quite worried about him, so they asked, "Brother Yaoxie, are you alright?"

Lin Yaoxie replied: I'm fine.

Then, Lin Yaoxie took a sword and walked towards the wolf.

He walked up to the wolf and looked down at it.

Lin Yaoxie said, "You seemed pretty arrogant just now, why aren't you arrogant anymore? Weren't you very powerful?"

Ling Yue walked over to Lin Yaoxie, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "Yaoxie, are you alright?"

"Do I look like someone in trouble right now?" Lin said with a wicked smile.

Lin Yaoxie used his knife to skin the wolf.

Lin Yaoxie hoisted the wolf's skin onto his shoulder and then said to everyone, "Alright, let's go back and give our master an explanation."

Lin Yaoxie led the way out, and everyone followed behind him. On their way back, they suddenly saw Ling Duan.

Ling Duan blocked their way.

Lin Yaoxie said to Ling Duan, "What do you mean by blocking our way here? Are you not letting us pass?"

Lin Yaoxie looked at them with some annoyance.

“Leave the wolf pelt behind, and I’ll let you pass,” Ling Duan said.

"We killed the wolf, why should we give it to you? Have you no shame?" Lin Yaoxie said angrily.

Ling Duan drew his sword and pointed it at Lin Yaoxie.

"So what if I'm shameless today?" Ling Duan said.

Lin Yaoxie sneered and said, "You've already lost all shame, what can I do to you?" The two sides faced off for a while.

Ling Yue came out.

He said to Ling Duan, "Ling Duan, don't go too far."

After hearing this, Ling Duan smiled dismissively: "I'm going too far? How am I going too far?"

"I advise you not to cause trouble here," Ling Yue said.

"This isn't Tianyong City, so what if I went too far?" Ling Duan said arrogantly.

If it were before, Lin Yaoxie might have already started fighting with Ling Duan.
