Marineford War: I Will Stand in the Sky

Immediately, Lucci understood what Yann meant, completely suppressing his inner doubts, and already knew which plan was about to be executed.

Then, Yamato handed Aon over to Lucci, coughed twice, and announced to the samurai in front of him.

"I have accepted Vice Admiral Yann's invitation to join the 'Seven Warlords of the Sea' and officially form an alliance with the Navy to fight against the Revolutionary Army."

Upon hearing this shocking news, the samurai present were all stunned, their eyes wide open, and they tried repeatedly to dissuade Yamato.

"Lord Yamato, please reconsider."

"The World Government cannot be trusted. They have been secretly colluding with the Beasts Pirates all along and have a special covetousness for Wano Country."

"Is it that damn navy guy...?"

Yamato's expression was initially somewhat indifferent, but when she heard some sounds coming from the samurai, her expression turned to anger almost instinctively, and a terrifying Conqueror's Haki erupted.

"Shut up!"

In an instant, the warriors' expressions all froze.

This was the first time they had ever seen such a terrifying and angry expression on Yamato's face, as if they had touched the bottom line in the heart of the usually magnanimous and generous Yamato.

Yamato's amber eyes flickered, and he said in an unquestionable manner.

"This is my decision, and I believe it is the best decision for Wano Country."

The samurai hesitated for a moment, then nodded in unison.

"Yes."

Then, Yamato exchanged a subtle glance with Arn and continued speaking.

“Lucci, Lieutenant General Yann is drunk. You should take him home first. I will visit him at the G-9 branch later when I have time.”

As Yamato finished speaking, Arn, who was pretending to be completely drunk, almost unconsciously trembled his index finger.

Afterwards, Yamato had the samurai escort Aon and Lucci away from the camp, while he himself remained standing still.

Until Arn and the samurai disappeared from sight, Yamato's face turned completely red in an instant. He covered his lower abdomen with one hand, awkwardly pulled the door of the reception room shut, and muttered something unconvincingly.

"Damn it, this time it must be because of the Seastone. I definitely won't lose next time..."

……

Outside the "Beast Warriors" headquarters, both the CP0 members who were lurking and observing the surroundings and the other CP9 members at the entrance were getting impatient.

It has been a long time since Arn and Lucci entered the camp.

Finally, the red-masked CP0 captain saw the gate of the base open, and Lucci helped Yone out. After joining the other CP9 members, they headed towards the G-9 branch.

The red-masked CP0 captain frowned slightly and muttered, "What's going on? There's been neither a signal to launch an attack nor confirmation of whether the invitation was successful."

Immediately afterwards, the red-masked CP0 captain used a Den Den Mushi to inform the other five CP0 members that Yone had left the base and to tell them to wait in place for the time being. Then, he quickly approached Yone and CP9 alone.

A white shadow flashed by, and the red-masked CP0 captain appeared in front of Yone and CP9.

Immediately afterwards, the red-masked CP0 captain noticed that Yann's condition was a bit off, and he seemed to be... quite drunk and unconscious. He instinctively asked in a condescending tone.

"What's going on with Lieutenant General Yann?"

As Lucci handed Yaen, whom he was supporting, to Kalifa, he stepped forward and spoke.

"My lord, Vice Admiral Yann spent a long time drinking and negotiating with Yamato in order to invite him to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea, so he has completely passed out drunk."

The red-masked CP0 captain nodded and continued, "So what was the result?"

“Yamato has publicly agreed to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea,” Lucci replied.

Immediately, the expression beneath the CP0 captain's mask revealed a hint of satisfaction, and he pulled out a rather peculiar Den Den Mushi from his pocket.

"Lord Five Elders, Yamato has agreed to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

"Yes, yes, it's Lieutenant General Yann, that's right..."

“Now that Lieutenant General Yann is completely drunk, I understand. Next, I will carry out the plan to eliminate the Revolutionary Army as soon as possible.”

After a brief call, the red-masked CP0 captain hung up and then informed the other five CP0 members of the evacuation.

"what!!"

A scream rang out from the Den Den Mushi, causing the red-masked CP0 captain's pupils to shrink.

The next instant, the red-masked CP0 captain sensed the danger coming from behind him with his Observation Haki and instinctively dodged to the side.

Five claw-shaped light blades slashed past the red-masked CP0 captain, carving five huge gashes into a nearby mountain.

[Chapter 635. The Void Soul-Slaying Blade - Leopard King]

"Naval Six Style: Shave!"

The red-masked CP0 captain quickly pulled away, and when he turned to look at the attacker, he was shocked to find that the person was actually Rob Lucci of CP9.

The red-masked CP0 captain was both shocked and furious, demanding, "Lucci, what are you doing?!"

Lu Qi casually flicked his hand, his black suit giving him a cool and aloof look, his eyes gleaming with a beastly blue light as he spoke.

"It's nothing, I'm just here to demonstrate my magnanimity to Lord Arn."

"what?"

The CP0 captain with the red mask was slightly taken aback, and his gaze immediately turned towards the direction of Yann. He was surprised to find that Yann was no longer the drunken and unconscious person he had been just moments before. Instead, he was sitting down on a large rock with a troubled expression, one hand supporting his chin, seemingly watching the battle, or perhaps troubled by something.

'Treason?!'

The thought flashed through the mind of the red-masked CP0 captain. 'This isn't just Lucci's personal act of betrayal; it's also related to Lieutenant General Yann?!'

Immediately, the red-masked CP0 captain realized that something was very wrong, and even felt a chill run down his spine.

Just then, a series of intense battle explosions rang out almost simultaneously all around.

"Boom boom boom..."

The red-masked CP0 captain's gaze swept over the group, and his expression darkened completely.

The direction from which those explosions rang out was precisely where the rest of CP0 were hiding.

Everyone... has been attacked!

'This is a conspiracy against CP0, and besides CP9's Rob Lucci, even Vice Admiral Yone, the naval hero, is involved?!?!?!'

The CP0 captain, wearing a red mask, instinctively took a step back, only to be met with a sudden, sharp gust of wind behind him.

The red-masked CP0 captain ducked to dodge, glancing at Lucci behind him out of the corner of his eye, and was inwardly startled.

"Such speed! How can this guy be so strong!"

Immediately, the red-masked CP0 captain retreated rapidly, his Observation Haki constantly locking onto Aon's direction.

Lucci's strength made the CP0 captain, with his red mask, curse the people who had gathered information about Lucci in the past, but he was even more wary of the man who seemed to be just an audience member—Tefimo Yann.

Besides, what puzzled the CP0 captain with the red mask was that, apart from Yann, the other CP9 members seemed completely oblivious to his battle with Lucci, remaining motionless in place with their gazes wandering in other directions.

'What happened?'

The red-masked CP0 captain was momentarily filled with doubt and uncertainty, and was even more unsure of the current situation.

However, the actions of the red-masked CP0 captain inadvertently enraged Lucci.

How could the enemy possibly be distracted in front of Lord Arn?

This is undoubtedly an insult to Lucci, and even more so an insult to the power that Lord Arn has bestowed upon him.

Instantly, Lucci's figure changed rapidly, almost transforming into a large leopard standing upright, and his speed increased dramatically!

"Six Styles - Ultimate Technique - Six Kings Spear!"

Instantly, as Lucci, who was relentlessly pursuing the red-masked CP0 captain, clenched his fists, an invisible force roared and surged toward the red-masked CP0 captain.

However, for CP0, the superior organization of CP9, every CP0 member has reached an extremely terrifying level of mastery of the Six Styles of the Navy, let alone him as the captain.

"That kind of petty trick is far from enough!"

"Six Styles Ultimate Technique: Storm Kick Frenzy!"

The red-masked CP0 captain, without changing his speed at all, suddenly unleashed a barrage of slashes.

"boom!"

The collision between the two generated a huge aftershock, sending billowing dust into the sky that completely obscured the figures of the red-masked CP0 captain and Lucci.

The moment the red-masked CP0 captain lost sight of Lucci, the level of danger Lucci perceived through his Observation Haki suddenly increased several times over.

"Liberation - Hollow Soul-Slaying Blade - Leopard King!"

A streak of blue light suddenly flashed across the scene, splitting the entire smoke and dust area in two, and heading straight for the red-masked CP0 captain.

"Armament Haki Cover!"

"Iron Block Cross Shield!"

In a flash, the red-masked CP0 captain crossed his arms in front of him, his arms turning jet black from intense Armament Haki.

"boom!"

An immense pressure suddenly descended, causing the red-masked CP0 captain's pupils to contract. His specially made mask shattered almost instantly, and he was blasted backward almost immediately.

What truly horrified the CP0 captain with the red mask was Lucci's current appearance. Unlike the usual "Zoan-type - Cat-Cat Fruit - Leopard type" form, while maintaining a body structure similar to that of a leopard standing upright, his entire body was covered by a white exoskeleton, and his overall body lines appeared more fluid and... more lethal!

More importantly, the peculiar white exoskeleton was something the CP0 captain with the red mask had seen on another person before, namely "The Crying Mantis" Don Quixote Rosinante!

'Visible Circle...'

However, Lucci did not give the Red Mask CP0 captain more time to think. The speed that his special leopard-like body structure could generate was terrifying. In the blink of an eye, he caught up with the Red Mask CP0 captain who was flying backward, and his sharp leopard claws, carrying extreme explosive force, slammed towards the Red Mask captain's chest.

"Zoan Type, Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Crocodile Mode!"

The red-masked CP0 captain's appearance rapidly expanded, and his body was covered with a thick layer of keratinous scales. Combined with the Armament Haki, he appeared incredibly tough.

"boom!"

With another loud bang, the red-masked CP0 captain was blasted into the ground, but his terrifying defense and physique showed no change whatsoever. Almost instantly, he leaped out of the crater that had been blasted out, and his gaping maw, big enough to swallow a person whole, lunged at Lucci.

However, with Lucci's terrifying speed, he instantly dodged the gaping maw of blood and transformed into a white light, heading straight for the vitals of the red-masked CP0 captain.

For a moment, the red-masked CP0 captain and Lucci fought like two monsters in the ruins of the Flower Capital.

However, Ya'en, who was watching the battle from the sidelines, seemed somewhat distracted in his eyes, and even sighed from time to time.

"Oh dear, what should we do? What stupid things has that idiot Yamato done?"
