"How was the month of training? You didn't even say a word before running off with Old Ka. You thought I'd cling to you?" Kong said.

Sasuke didn't bother with Uchiha Ku. Kakashi taught him Lightning Release, while Ku's chakra nature was Wind and Fire, completely unrelated to him.

Chapter 81 The Squad Assembles

"Snapped."

With a crisp sound, a red handprint was visible on Naruto's face. He jumped up from the ground and shouted, "Is it my turn? This time I must avenge Hinata!"

Uchiha Sora and Sasuke were speechless. Naruto was really lucky; he had slept until now and was still fine.

Not far away, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura felt a chill run down their spines. Even through the smoke, which was more than 30 meters away, they could still clearly smell the stench.

The Sand Ninja quickly turned around, his expression changed drastically when he saw the hissing smoke bomb. He didn't even have time to pull up his pants before he dashed away into the distance. Uchiha Sora quietly took a step back and hid behind a big tree.

The roar of the explosion and the red light from the fireball instantly enveloped a considerable area.

"Clap clap clap."

Frequent crashing sounds echoed from the surrounding trees until there was no further movement behind him, at which point Uchiha Sora emerged from behind the trees.

The poisoned Sand Ninja died a gruesome death, her lower body a patchwork of white mixed with red and yellow.

Sakura pouted and didn't say anything.

On the distant battlefield, the boundless forest seemed to have turned into a desert.
