"The three of you, I have something to attend to, so I'll be leaving now."

Seemingly afraid that Uchiha Sora would let him stay, he turned and ran, disappearing without a trace in the blink of an eye.

"Kong, do you have a conflict with this guy? You've never spoken to anyone in the village like this before."

Ino was somewhat curious; it seemed like Sora was deliberately making things difficult for Tos.

"We have no grudge, but do you think they'll still be able to calmly let us mock them like this after they become powerful?"

It's likely that all the smaller ninja villages would love for the larger ninja villages to decline as soon as possible, so they could seize the opportunity to plunder resources.

Since you know they harbor resentment, why bother speaking to them calmly?

"This is really troublesome."

Shikamaru knew he would probably have to deal with this kind of messy stuff in the future; just thinking about what the Third Hokage said about the relationships between different countries during the Chunin Exams gave him a headache.

In a quiet room in the Hokage Building, four photos hang on the central wall.

From the First Hokage to the Fourth Hokage, the Third Hokage always gazed at the Fourth Hokage's photograph.

The Third Hokage hesitated, wondering whether to teach Genma the Flying Thunder God Technique. Although Genma's aptitude was good, he was far inferior to Minato's.

The third generation sighed, thinking, "Let's try anything, even if it's not as good as the fourth generation, at least it can transmit information quickly."

"Someone, tell Genma Shiranui to come to my office."

A hidden agent took the order and left.

The Third Hokage breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that the Fourth Hokage could bless Konoha with the emergence of another genius who could master the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Dragging his slightly tired body, the third generation walked towards the office.

In Choji's ward at Konoha Hospital, Sora was slightly stunned.

Unexpectedly, the Third Generation had quite the courage to decide to let Genma research the Flying Thunder God, but it needed to be done in a specific room where preliminary data on the Flying Thunder God was stored.

"Shikamaru, Ino, you two chat with Choji for a while, I'm going to check on Rock Lee."

Clear footsteps echoed in the quiet corridor, and after a few steps, Naruto's loud shouts could be heard.

"I don't want to stay here. I still need to cultivate. I'll find that lecherous immortal to cultivate with."

"Boom."

"Naruto, you big idiot, you need to rest quietly right now. Do you still want to participate in the finals in two weeks?"

"I didn't expect you two to be having a date here. I've caught you red-handed. I wonder if Sasuke will be heartbroken when he finds out."

Uchiha Sora pushed open the door and walked in.

Sakura was completely stunned and shouted, "Don't talk nonsense! I'm not going on a date with Naruto. I just came to the hospital to see Lee. I didn't expect Naruto to be here too."

Sakura hurriedly defended herself, fearing that Uchiha Sora would secretly report her. In Sakura's memory, Uchiha Sora had done many such harmful and self-defeating things; he was willing to do anything that would harm others.

"That's what the narrator said, I didn't say that. You didn't actually believe it, did you, Sora?"

"No, I am Konoha's famously magnanimous and generous man. When you were just kids, I tattled on you so you could avoid taking the wrong path. You have to thank me for having friends like me who always think of you in your lives to achieve what you have today."

Sakura rolled her eyes, nearly choking on her own. Today was quite an eye-opener; she'd actually learned to make tattling sound so elegant and refined.

"Tsk tsk, I don't know what you're thinking all day. You've corrupted such an innocent kid like Naruto." Sora said.

A chilling chakra suddenly swept through the corridor, giving people a dry and desolate feeling.

Uchiha Sora paused for a moment, then said, "Sakura, you stay here and take care of Naruto. I'll go out and see who dares to act so recklessly in the hospital."

"I'll go with you."

Naruto jumped off the bed and ran out with Sora. Sakura looked around and followed.

"It's Gaara, be careful."

Kong looked at the sand scattered in the corridor and said.

In the ward, Xiao Li was fast asleep, with sand flowing across the bed. Gaara stood calmly at the door, his eyes cold.

"What a coincidence! I never expected to run into you here. Are you planning to make your move right here?"

Kong walked into the ward, holding a handful of smoke bombs in his hand, gently rubbing them in his palm. Among them were seven or eight bombs wrapped with detonating tags.

Gaara's slightly tyrannical gaze swept over the three of them, and the almost tangible killing intent chilled Sakura to the bone.

However, he still insisted on staying by Naruto's side.

"Is this your way of ninjutsu, dealing with a patient who has no power to resist? Or do you not have any way of ninjutsu at all, no spirit that needs to be upheld?"

"My way of the ninja is to kill, to kill everyone I don't like."

Gaara's heart is filled with confusion. He was treated as a tool for killing from a young age, and he cannot find his true self.

"Shut up!" Gaara shouted.

A dark and chilly atmosphere filled the ward, and sand slowly shifted and flowed around Xiao Li.

Uchiha Sora held a black smoke bomb between two fingers and said, "Want to experience the power of a poison gas bomb? Kankuro has already experienced it. You should know the information: the effect only lasts for five seconds."

Even tailed beasts can't stand the smell. If you don't want to embarrass yourself, it's best to stop.

The eight detonating smoke grenades I have are enough to create a hole in your sand defenses and let you experience the power of poison gas.

"Hmph, I'll kill you first, so you won't have a chance to make a move."

Uchiha Sora smiled slightly, took off his ninja tool pouch, and shook it a little.

"Whoosh."

A series of smoke grenade collision sounds rang out.

"Want to experience the feeling of two hundred smoke grenades exploding? Guess how many of them are smoke grenades and poison gas grenades?"

Gaara snorted coldly and said, "I will personally kill you on the day of the finals."

The sand slowly crawled into the gourd on Gaara's back, and the slightly short figure left the ward.

Chapter Seventy-Six: The Finals Arrive

"Naruto, Sora, you need to be careful in the finals. Gaara's strength is terrifying."

Sakura is actually more concerned about Sasuke, after all, Sasuke's first match was against Gaara.

"Don't mention Erzhuzi. Old Ka gave him special treatment, left a note and ran off, as if he was afraid I would follow him. Humph, when he comes back, he'll definitely give him a piece of his mind."

"Kong is right. Kakashi-sensei introduced me to Glasses-sensei and then disappeared."

The three of them didn't disturb Lee's rest, and after meeting up with Shikamaru and Ino, they left the hospital.

Night fell, and Konoha Village fell silent, but a light remained on in a quiet room in the Hokage Building.

Genma looked at the documents in his hand with a worried expression. He didn't know what had gotten into the Third Hokage that made him continue to study the Flying Thunder God Technique.

The Third Hokage said he had good potential and might be the third ninja to use the Flying Thunder God Technique solo.

Xuanjian knows whether he has good aptitude or not. He was taught by four generations of masters and still couldn't learn it. Now, making him learn on his own is worse than killing him.

However, the Hokage's orders could not be disobeyed, and it wasn't a dangerous mission; it was simply a matter of researching data in the village.

Uchiha Sora watched Genma's troubled expression on the screen and felt anxious for him. He thought that the special title must have been obtained through back channels.

The third generation didn't fully reveal all the training methods for the Flying Thunder God Technique. Instead, he revealed them step by step, opening up a portion as he comprehended each part. He hasn't even comprehended the first step yet.

Uchiha Sora only copied the first step of the Flying Thunder God Technique and some of its basic principles.

Genma was the Fourth Hokage's personal bodyguard and had trained in the Flying Thunder God Technique for a period of time.

Even when cooperating with other members of the same squad, the three of them could use the Flying Thunder God Technique, but now that there is only one person left, it is so difficult.

On the rooftop of a high-rise building a few hundred meters away from the Land of Fire building, a huge shadow covered the entire area.

[Intrigues often begin in the shadows. Kabuto Yakushi, hoping to gain Orochimaru's approval, imitated him in every way, even going so far as to plot in the open shadows, forgetting that this made him more vulnerable to being exposed.]

Maki, sitting opposite Kabuto, frowned and said, "The appearance of the narrator is a problem. If our plan is exposed prematurely, we will be in a very passive position."

[Maki remained wary of Orochimaru, and even with their cooperation, he didn't entirely trust that Yakushi Toru, a mere spy, was worthy of discussing matters with him.]

The Sound Village is just an unknown small ninja village with a limited number of ninjas; ultimately, the Sand Village will be the main force.

[Maki coughed awkwardly a few times. If he had known the narrator from the Land of Fire was this shrewd, he would never have agreed to the Fourth Kazekage's decision to attack Konoha. He was so worried that if the narrator had exposed any part of the plan, everything would have been ruined.]

“The narrator’s words are unreliable; Sunagakure’s determination to attack Konoha is as firm as a rock,” Maki explained.

Maki dislikes Kabuto, but he cannot disobey the Fourth Hokage's orders.

"Hehe, everyone is getting what they need, and the cooperation is based on common interests. No need to take the narration too seriously."

Kabuto Yakushi never considered Sunagakure as an ally; it was simply that their plans had aligned. Lord Orochimaru wanted to destroy the decaying Leaf Village, while Sunagakure wanted to reverse the village's decline by attacking it.

The two ninjas, each with their own ulterior motives, gradually reached a tacit understanding.

"Remember to report the information to Orochimaru. I can't expose myself yet. If I'm discovered, the narrator might expose me."

After Machi finished speaking, he disappeared from the spot.

As the Moonlight Gale drew nearer, he already knew that a conspiracy lurking in the shadows was detrimental to Konoha.

Yakushi Kabuto glanced at it and could sense an approaching presence.

"Hmph, what a troublesome fellow."

Kabuto Yakushi decides to kill Hayate Gekko and take his body. With only a few days left until the finals, he hopes to stall until then. Kabuto estimates that the narration will at most reveal his name, but not the entire plan, since the body won't be seen.

[If Moonlight Gale escapes, Kabuto Yakushi worries that when the other reports, the narrator will expose all the secrets.]

Moonlight Gale's expression changed drastically, and he stopped on a building.

Kabuto Yakushi stepped out of the shadows and looked at the other person with a smile.

Kabuto Yakushi appeared calm on the surface, but was even more composed inside. Years of espionage had long since rendered him immune to emotional fluctuations. Even his apparent panic in front of Lord Orochimaru was merely an act, intended to enhance Lord Orochimaru's sense of accomplishment and to demonstrate his own weakness.

[Moonlight Gale is somewhat inexplicable; listening to the narrator's words is like listening to a proper lecture.]

"Shh."

Moonlight Gale rushed forward quickly, its frail body seemingly on the verge of death.
