"Kiba is really lucky to have run into Naruto. It looks like he'll win easily." Such comments kept echoing around.

Only Team 7 had full confidence in Naruto, after all, they had witnessed the changes in him over the past few months.

[As expected, human prejudice makes people foolish and blind. Even the most powerful ninja will make the same mistake. I never thought that Kurenai-sensei, who looks so smart and beautiful, could be so foolish. It's a pity.]

Asuma suddenly felt an urge to beat Kuro up. Kuro might be a bit brainless sometimes, but she's beautiful.

"Asma, who are you calling brainless?"

Kurenai was instantly enraged. She had always prided herself on her exceptional intelligence, yet today she was being called brainless. She couldn't bring herself to argue with Uchiha Sora, who was just a child, but Asuma had been fawning over her these past few days. Could he have ulterior motives?

Uchiha Sora quickly shut his mouth, quietly retreated, and went into the corridor on the second floor.

"When did I...?"

"Shut up," the Third Hokage interrupted Asuma, saying, "The Chunin Exams are still ongoing. Asuma, what kind of behavior is this, a Jonin leading a team, making such a racket?"

The Third Hokage was completely disappointed in Asuma, his rebellious son; explaining this would only make things worse.

Asuma didn't inherit any of the Third Hokage's experience in finding girls, otherwise his child with Kurenai would be running away by now.

Kankuro felt as if he had overheard some terrible secret. He worried that Konoha might quietly silence him; he still had grand ideals to fulfill.

Many eyes were fixed on Kankuro, filled with disdain, including those of Sunagakure Jonin Maki.

"If you dare to think any more nonsense, I'll kill you." Gaara's cold words rang in Kankuro's ears.

Kankuro snapped to attention, his face instantly turning pale. He chuckled dryly and said, "I need to go to the restroom first."

He only breathed a sigh of relief after retreating to the corridor. When he looked up, he saw Uchiha Sora leaning against the wall, scrutinizing him.

"What are you looking at, Konoha ninja? If you dare look again, I'll gouge your eyes out."

Kankuro was instantly filled with confidence. He might not be able to beat Gaara, but could he really lose to someone who used smoke bombs?

"So it was Kyuu. Did Gaara scare you so much you peed your pants?"

"you wanna die."

Kankuro was somewhat embarrassed and angry that Uchiha Sora had guessed his thoughts.

Kong Dun suddenly stretched out his hands, holding three smoke grenades wrapped with detonating tags.

"Three explosive tags are enough to make you unable to take care of yourself. I remember that you puppeteers all need to fight in close combat, right?"

Then, he reached into his ninja tool pouch with his other hand and shook it slightly, producing some dull thuds.

"Guess how many detonating smoke grenades are still in the ninja tool kit."

Kankuro's face was grim; he had to admit he was afraid, but he didn't want to lose face.

"Hmph, useless fellow."

Sora walked forward and passed by Kankuro. Kankuro's face was extremely ugly, and the veins on his forehead were throbbing.

Kankuro only recovered slightly after Uchiha Sora disappeared and walked towards the toilet.

Uchiha Sora quietly whispered a voiceover in Kankuro's ear.

[Actually, Kankuro was fooled. Uchiha Sora no longer had any smoke bombs to detonate. What he took out earlier was just a show, a deliberate cover-up.]

In the restroom, Kankuro's expression was twisted, his eyes filled with a desire that he could turn into a sharp sword and tear Uchiha Ku to pieces.

"Uchiha Sora, I'm not done with you yet." Kankuro's voice was like a cuckoo crying blood as he squatted on the toilet and kept swearing.

At that moment, a series of footsteps sounded, followed by a sound hitting the ground and rolling through the gap in the toilet door into where Kankuro was.

"Experience the stench of a cesspool exposed to the sun for thirty days. It's the cheers of E. coli and Helicobacter pylori, the groans of the anus, and the ecstasy of pleasure."

A deep sound rang out, followed by the slamming of the outer door and the detonation of the smoke bomb.

A thick cloud of black mist exploded in the small room.

Kankuro felt a stench rush straight to the top of his head, making him dizzy and his eyes water.

The food I ate in the morning gushed out of my mouth like a fountain, with constant slurping sounds coming from below.

"Uchiha Sora, I'm not done with you yet."

Kankuro kept rolling his eyes, vomiting and having diarrhea, trying his best to keep himself from fainting.

In just a short while, the small space was already a mess, and the stench was overwhelming.

Several ninjas who were close to the corridor moved to the side at the same time, and a faint stench wafted through the entire arena.

Below, the tooth, which had just activated its enhanced sense of smell, sprayed out a stream of filth that traced a graceful arc across the ground.

Kong stared at the field, somewhat incredulous.

"What's that stench? Who's in the toilet?" Countless people whispered among themselves.

[What is Kankuro doing in the toilet? It stinks so badly. Did he bring out the latrine? Temari could only look embarrassed.]

After spitting out his teeth, he kept rolling his eyes back.

[Once the teeth's sense of smell is enhanced, it can reach thousands of times that of humans. Kurenai Yuhi silently mourns for the teeth.]

His eyes had rolled back, and he was on the verge of fainting. He was vomiting, as if a cesspool was tightly surrounding him, constantly passing through his mouth, and strong stench assaulting his brain.

Sakura and Sasuke stared at Uchiha Sora with suspicion; they would never forget this feeling, even decades later.

"Don't look at me, it has nothing to do with me."

Sora was telling the truth; Kankuro had deliberately insulted him in the toilet, and Sora was merely giving him a small punishment.

"The narrator is right. I, Uchiha Sora, am not the kind of person who would cause trouble for no reason."

Sakura and Sasuke nodded in agreement. They had suffered quite a few losses at the hands of the Uchiha clan these past few days, and he remembered them all.

Naruto was stunned. Had he really become this powerful? He had only cursed Kiba once in his mind, and Kiba had turned into this state.

"Idiot Naruto, this has nothing to do with you. Kiba just smelled the stench in the air," Sakura shouted.

[If Sakura doesn't dare to mess with Uchiha Sora, does she not dare to scold Naruto?]

"Shut up, narrator." Sakura wished she could disappear into a crack in the ground; she felt utterly ashamed.

"Grandpa, should we wait until our teeth have recovered before getting them fixed?"

Naruto wanted to show off in front of Sakura during today's match and let Sasuke and Sora see his strength, but he was defeated before he even had a chance to fight.

The Third Hokage's lips twitched. Naruto used to be such an honest kid, but in just a few months he's gone astray under Kakashi's influence. Looks like I need to find a chance to teach Kakashi a lesson.

Kakashi felt like he'd become the most wronged person in the ninja world. He clearly learned from Uchiha Sora, but alas, he ended up taking the blame for Uchiha Sora's mistakes.

"Kakashi-sensei doesn't tolerate false accusations. You study art books in front of us every day, how could I have learned from you?"

Kakashi was speechless, like someone swallowing a bitter pill.

Chapter Sixty-Nine: Drawing Lots

"In ninja battles, the unexpected is also part of strength," the Third Hokage replied to Naruto.

Naruto was a little disappointed that he didn't have a chance to show his skills, but victory is always a happy thing.

With an easy victory over Kiba, the second round of the Chunin Exams came to a complete end.

On the corridor outside the tower, Orochimaru stood quietly against a pillar, admiring the stunning scenery and feeling the peace of Konoha Village.

Orochimaru still harbored some attachment to the village, after all, it was where he grew up. However, he wanted to destroy this gradually decaying village even more, and he hoped that the former heroes of the ninja could end their lives in a glorious way, rather than dying a pathetic death on their sickbeds.

Kabuto Yakushi appeared quietly and said, "Lord Orochimaru is still hesitating? Is he still thinking about the master-disciple relationship from back then?"

"What a wonderful peace, Kabuto Yakushi. Don't you think there's so much you don't know?"

Beneath the calm tone lay a chilling unease.

Kabuto Yakushi was Orochimaru's right-hand man, but what Orochimaru disliked most about him was that Kabuto often acted on his own initiative and knew too much.

Yakushi's forehead broke out in a cold sweat as he said, "Lord Orochimaru is joking. Actually, I don't know much. For example, I don't know much about the strength of people like Tosu and Zaku."

Kabuto Yakushi already knew this information, but he didn't want to arouse Orochimaru's suspicion. Kabuto Yakushi was a clever guy. Even after Orochimaru's death, he activated Snake Sage Mode and became Orochimaru Kabuto, completely surpassing Orochimaru in some aspects and even bringing great trouble to the ninja world.

An eerie silence fell over the scene, and the pupils of both men contracted sharply.

Orochimaru has conducted countless experiments over the years, with his ultimate goal being immortality.

"Lord Orochimaru, I have absolutely no disloyal intentions. Please investigate thoroughly, Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto Yakushi immediately knelt on one knee.

"Hehe, the narrator has provided some incredible information. I'm really looking forward to it."

Orochimaru didn't believe Kabuto could kill him, but things were getting more and more interesting; it seemed the ninja world was becoming increasingly unpredictable.

Orochimaru had prepared countless escape routes for himself, believing that even if his death was only temporary, any one of these routes could allow him to be resurrected.

"To kill Lord Orochimaru, it must have been Akatsuki who personally intervened; no one else has that kind of strength."

"Hehe, who knows? The qualifiers are almost over. Kabuto, you should go back now."

Reverting to his original Sound Ninja form, Orochimaru quietly entered the tower.

As soon as I entered, I smelled a faint stench; the smell was all too familiar.

Because of his carelessness, he was hit by two smoke grenades in a row.

Otherwise, in order to obtain Sasuke, he would have killed Uchiha Sora long ago, and wouldn't have allowed him to live until now.

Orochimaru could guess the outcome of the match just by glancing at the substance sprayed out by Kiba Inuzuka in the arena, as he had many Inuzuka clan ninjas under his command back then.

Nine victors began to gather below, but Kankuro never appeared.

"Temari, where is Kankuro? Why hasn't he shown up yet?" Maki asked.

I used to think Kankuro was excellent, arguably the strongest puppeteer of the younger generation in Sunagakure. Now I feel he's a bit underwhelming, failing at crucial moments.

"Did he fall into the toilet and drown? The smell was so strong just now, did he fall into the latrine?" Kong's voice rang out.

[Maki gritted his teeth, too lazy to pay attention to Uchiha Sora. During the preliminary rounds, he had already seen through this kid. He was always stirring up trouble and had a terrible mouth. He never thought Kakashi could train such a disciple.]

By this time, Kakashi had already slipped away. He didn't want to continue taking the blame for the Uchiha clan, otherwise he didn't know how many embarrassing things the narrator would reveal.

[Ku shook his head inwardly, realizing he had really misjudged Maki Jonin. He hadn't expected someone with such thick eyebrows and big eyes to have such a filthy mind.]
