Naruto laughed inwardly, having wiped out all the bandits; no one would know he had been too scared to move just moments before.

Sasuke was speechless. He wanted to use these bandits to test his recent training results. Naruto, that big idiot, when did he become so strong?

"The narrator is right. The chakra of the Uzumaki clan is indeed terrifying. Even I can only create a few shadow clones."

Kakashi was somewhat envious; every battle required careful planning, and a moment's carelessness could deplete one's chakra.

“The leader has already run away, so Sasuke and I should go after him,” Sora said.

Kakashi nodded. "Be careful."

The bandit leader, already in a panic, hid in a hole in the hill, planning to escape to the Land of Rivers after Kakashi's team left.

"Let's go, Erzhuzi. The narrator will probably expose our whereabouts soon. If we're any later, the bandit leader will definitely escape from the cave."

The narration simply recounts events that have happened in the past, are happening now, and will happen soon.

[Kong is currently looking for someone to test his newly developed smoke bomb.]

Sasuke glanced at Sou, a hint of apprehension rising in his heart. He had witnessed some of the details of Sou making smoke bombs, and just one look was enough to make him feel uneasy.

Sora and Sasuke moved quickly among the rocks.

"Erzhuzi, activate your Sharingan. Maybe you can find some clues about the other party. The narrator doesn't even explain clearly which cave it is."

The bandit leader realized he'd been exposed, but upon hearing there were only two newly graduated genin, he suddenly felt invincible. "If I can't beat Kakashi, surely I can handle two kids?"

Amidst the rubble, a middle-aged man of medium build, dressed in tattered clothes, stepped forward. He was disheveled and clearly not doing well.

"Haha, as expected, you two kids who haven't even grown their hair yet. From now on, as long as I pay attention to the narrator's hints, I can easily rob people in various places. You two brats, hand over your valuables."

This is a man with ideals, dreaming of becoming the king of bandits. He's a bit slovenly and weak, but as long as he only robs those weaker than himself, he can still achieve great things.

Today marks the first major calamity for the Mountain Bandit King. Is it simply bad luck that he was born at the wrong time, or will he soar to the heavens?

"Haha, Mountain Bandit King, I like that title. I, Sansuke, am destined to become the Mountain Bandit King. You two brats are doomed."

[Kong glanced at Sasuke, then said, "Sansuke. Anyone who didn't know better would think he was related to those brothers."]

A smoke grenade appeared in his empty hand and was thrown instantly.

"Boom."

The pungent smell exploded instantly, enveloping the bandits, and the entire smoke grenade turned purple with speckles of green.

This is the latest mustard bomb with amazing design; it's absolutely addictive and irresistible.

Sasuke calmly took out a gas mask from his ninja tool bag, put it on, activated his Sharingan, and rushed forward.

Seeing the bandit leader's disheveled figure, he kicked out, aiming straight for his crotch.

Sasuke seemed to feel something soft, and his legs instantly exerted force, giving him a feeling of his testicles being crushed.

"Ow."

A sharp scream rang out, and the bandit leader's face turned red, his body was covered in cold sweat, his eyes rolled back, and he spat out mouthfuls of white foam.

"I'm... going to become... the King of Mountain Bandits... how can I... be defeated here...?"

The future bandit king ultimately succumbed to fate, falling to Sasuke's groin kick. Fate is unpredictable; cherish every moment.

Sora walked over and said, "He has so many inner monologues. This guy is doomed. Take him back and hand him over to Kakashi-sensei."

He kicked the bandit who had rolled his eyes and said, "You got up on your own if you weren't dead. You have no sense at all. Do you think the Land of Fire is a place you can just plunder? Next time you have the chance to be a bandit, choose a remote country without any ninja villages."

The bandit leader slowly regained consciousness, secretly pleased that he hadn't died. The path to becoming the bandit king was indeed arduous; Kong's words seemed to show him the path to becoming king.

"laugh."

A kunai flew out and pierced the bandit leader's heart. The bandit leader's eyes widened suddenly, seemingly filled with resentment, and he died.

"Let's go. We haven't tested the effects of the smoke bombs yet. Hopefully, we'll encounter a more challenging mission next time."

This guy is incorrigible; it's better he's dead, otherwise he'd cause trouble for others in the future.

Kakashi was very satisfied with Sasuke and Sora's performance; the two could be considered qualified genin.

"Haha, I didn't expect Kakashi-sensei to be here too. It's not good to spy."

Kakashi emerged from behind a rock. "Don't put it so harshly. The teacher was just worried about your safety. How can that be considered peeping?"

You both did a good job and cooperated well. Mission accomplished, you can go back now.

The bandits on the hillside have been taken away by the town residents who issued the mission and will be handed over to the Fire Country government, which manages the nearby villages and towns.

The security system within the Land of Fire is divided into the government and ninja villages.

Some of the more troublesome ones will be sent to the ninja village to issue missions. For example, this time, the bandit leader is a genin, and the other bandits are all ruthless.

The government and the people could only turn to the ninja village for help. Most of the strong people in the government were concentrated in the capital or some prosperous towns.

This place is located on the border, and apart from patrolling ninjas, there are only bandits and mountain thieves.

The primary purpose of patrolling ninjas is to prevent invasions by ninjas from other countries, not to deal with mountain bandits.

Every system has its own operating rules. If you want to get rid of bandits, you can only go to Konoha to issue a mission, or wait for a kind ninja to come along and take care of them.

As dusk fell, the group of five stopped in the forest to continue their tree-climbing training.

Apart from Naruto, the other three were already skilled and easily walked up the tree.

Only Naruto kept falling from the tree.

"Naruto, let's rest for a while before practicing again."

Sakura felt a pang of pity; after all, she was a girl who, despite her tough exterior, was actually extremely vulnerable inside.

"I'm not weak," Sakura's proud voice rang out.

Kongdao: "It's better not to stop this kind of thing. The feeling of pursuing dreams is something that a girl like you with no brains and no breasts can understand."

To become Hokage, you must be prepared to work harder than anyone else.

Sakura's mind is filled with nothing but romance; how could Sasuke possibly understand a man's dreams?

"Who's brainless and lacking brains? My grades at the ninja academy were better than yours, you lazy bum."

Sakura never understood why, despite being brothers, Sasuke was so handsome and strong, while Sora was just a lazy bum. How could there be such a huge difference in their character?

Ignoring the narrator's words, Sora asked, "Kakashi-sensei, what's the next step in the training?"

Kakashi plans to teach you how to walk on water once we return to Konoha, as it's more difficult than climbing trees.

"The narrator is right. It's about treading water. The trees are still, but the water is flowing. It's a better way to train your chakra than climbing trees."

"Kakashi-sensei, what's next?"

Sakura is a bit arrogant. Among the four members of Team 7, she took the shortest time to climb trees. This will be Sakura Haruno's moment to shine.

Chapter Twenty-One: Treading Water

Kakashi shook his head and said, "There aren't that many techniques for training chakra. Once you've learned to tread water, the rest is up to you."

Sakura was destined to be disappointed; things weren't as she had imagined. In the end, it was Team 7 who dragged her down.

"No, don't talk nonsense."

Sakura's rebuttal was so weak; Naruto easily dealt with more than ten bandits; Sasuke and Sora worked together seamlessly to easily defeat the future bandit king; among the veteran genin, only Sakura became the sole errand girl.

"Alright, Sakura, we all know you're not good at fighting. You can consider becoming a medical ninja in the future. Sasuke is impulsive and loves adventure, so you can treat him then."

Sakura was inwardly laughing. Her impression of Sora had instantly changed. Now that she had learned medical ninjutsu, she would have the chance to get close to Sasuke. Sakura couldn't contain her excitement.

[Actually, Sora thinks Sakura is too talkative and wants him to shut up.]

Sakura really doesn't learn her lesson. She's been tricked by Kuro several times, but a few kind words make her so smug she's practically blinded by happiness.

"Uchiha Sora, if I ever say another good word about you again, I'll take your surname."

Kong shook his head with a smile and said, "Don't even think about it. Our Uchiha clan doesn't recruit people casually. If you want to take advantage of me, don't even think about it."

"Uchiha Sora, you're driving me crazy! I'm never talking to you again!"

Sora didn't take Sakura's words to heart. In Sora's mind, Sakura was basically stupid and clueless; he would forget about her completely by tomorrow.

"Hmph, Kong, I'll remember what you said. I'll never talk to you again."

Kong chuckled softly, his face full of disbelief, which infuriated Xiaoying.

Kakashi desperately wanted someone to step up and teach Ku a lesson, but unfortunately Sakura's skill level was too low; she was no match for Uchiha Ku.

"Ha, Kakashi-sensei, thank you for always thinking of me. When I first started at the Ninja Academy, I was known as the debate prodigy, Ku, not some lazy bum."

Unfortunately, he had no rivals in the entire ninja academy, and loneliness reigned above him; the higher one climbs, the colder it gets, and that's when he started to slack off.

Sasuke thought back carefully and realized that when Sora first entered the Ninja Academy, he was indeed argumentative, but he started to become lazy after hanging out with Shikamaru more often.

Sasuke was convinced that Shikamaru was the one who corrupted Ku.

Sasuke is overthinking it. Sora just finds their behavior childish. Only the highly intelligent Shikamaru is his true confidant; the others are all idiots.

[Uchiha Sora is getting arrogant. The other four are looking at him with hostility. He's on the verge of being abandoned by everyone without realizing it.]

"Haha, that's all just what the narrator said. What does it have to do with me, Uchiha Sora?"

[Uchiha Ku has finally met his end. Sakura feels as refreshed as drinking iced plum juice on a sweltering summer day. It would be even better if a few of them teamed up and gave Ku a good beating.]

Sasuke did want to give Kou a good beating, but he was somewhat wary of Kou's various smokescreens, each one unforgettable.

At night, Naruto, looking disheveled, lay on the ground and slept soundly, while the other four took turns keeping watch.

Time passed slowly as they traveled, and by the time they returned to Konoha, Naruto was already adept at climbing trees.

It was another bright and sunny spring day when the five of them gathered by a small river in Konoha.

After the bandit suppression mission was completed, the third generation gave them a rare two-day break.

"Today I will teach you how to tread water and climb trees. You have grasped the essence of treading water and climbing trees. Treading water is different from climbing trees. Water flows, and you need to adjust your chakra according to the flow of water."

Kakashi leaped up and stood on the water's surface, his body rising and falling with the water's movement.

"Kakashi-sensei is amazing, let me try."
