Sakura said innocently, "Kakashi-sensei, this is definitely a narrator's frame-up."
Kakashi remained calm and composed, saying, "I know Sakura is definitely a good girl; she never swears."
Kakashi glanced at Sasuke, silently mourning for him. Having a violent girl like Sakura as a liking must be incredibly stressful for him.
"The narrator went too far, talking about Sakura like that! I, Kakashi, will be the first to object!" Kakashi said righteously.
[I think Kakashi-sensei and Sakura have grasped the essence of narration; they don't even need to say anything to insult someone—a single line of narration solves everything.]
"Kakashi-sensei, this is what the narrator said, it has nothing to do with me, Uchiha Sora."
“No problem.” Sasuke said with admiration.
The Third Hokage, unable to bear it any longer, said, "This is not the place for you to chat. Otherwise, you can continue weeding."
The third generation gradually came to his senses and decided to revise the mission, after all, Class 7 had only been out of school for a short time.
Naruto quickly shouted, "Old man, we're going to carry out the mission now. You should get some rest."
The five quickly left the office. Apart from Sakura, none of the four members of the team wanted to continue doing this boring task.
Cleaning up bandits adds a bit of spice to a boring life.
Kakashi took out the mission list, glanced at it, and said, "The mission location is on the border of the Land of Fire, near the Land of Rivers. This level of mission is not something you should normally accept."
Mountain bandits are ruthless killers; if they hesitate, you all could be killed, especially you, Sakura.
Sakura's heart skipped a beat. Did they have to kill or be killed? How terrifying! Why were they being given such dangerous missions so early?
Sasuke glanced at Sakura; women are such a hassle.
Sakura's heart skipped a beat. "I don't want Sasuke to hate me. I absolutely have to go on this mission!"
"Don't worry, Sakura, I'll protect you. I'll never let you get hurt."
Naruto immediately switched to simp mode, but unfortunately Sakura only had eyes for Sasuke, while Sasuke only had hatred in his heart and no romantic feelings whatsoever.
Kakashi sighed. "What a complicated relationship," he thought, "it's so similar to my own childhood, almost a carbon copy."
The narrator's words brought a touch of sadness to Kakashi's face, but he quickly masked it. After all, more than a decade had passed, and even the deepest sadness had been worn away by the relentless passage of time.
"Kakashi-sensei, were your former teammates also my father's students?"
Naruto felt a surge of joy. It seemed he wasn't alone in the world. To be taken as a disciple by his father, the Fourth Hokage, meant he must be exceptionally talented.
Kakashi nodded and said, "They were indeed very talented, but they all died in the Third Shinobi World War."
Kakashi's words silenced Team 7. They realized how close death was to them; a simple mission could mean being separated forever.
Kong laughed loudly, "Don't be too depressed. One of you wants to become Hokage, and the other wants revenge. If you don't even have this much courage, you should go home and wash up and go to sleep as soon as possible."
Let's focus on the mission first; eliminating the bandits on the border will probably take several days.
Kakashi nodded secretly, planning to use the time during the mission to give Team 7 a special training session and teach them some tricks.
"Great! Kakashi-sensei, teach me now. With my talent, I'll learn it very quickly."
Sakura punched Naruto on the head and said, "You were last when we graduated. Who knows how long it will take you to learn it?"
[Naruto is such a nuisance, Sasuke is still the coolest. Sakura's eyes light up when she sees Sasuke training.]
"Sakura, wipe your drool." (Kūdou)
Sakura hurriedly wiped her lips and shouted, "Where's the saliva? Stop talking nonsense!"
Women, indeed, are mindless creatures.
"Uchiha Sora! If it weren't for the fact that you're Sasuke's brother, I would have blown your head off."
Sakura's eyes blazed with fury, as if she wanted to burn the sky to ashes, and she didn't even care about maintaining a ladylike image in front of Sasuke.
Kong laughed and said, "What the narrator said has nothing to do with me. We still have a mission to carry out, so stop being unreasonable."
Sakura was speechless, cursing Sora a hundred times in her mind. What a shameless man!
"That's just what the narrator said, it has nothing to do with me." Sakura's mood immediately improved.
"Why was there a mosquito buzzing in front of me just now? Kakashi-sensei, show us the mission map."
Sakura was furious, but she couldn't do anything about Uchiha Sora.
[Ku laughed inwardly, he loved seeing Sakura get her comeuppance, and how her broad forehead would grow bigger, truly a miracle of Konoha]
Sakura quickly touched her forehead and, thankfully, there was no change. She breathed a sigh of relief.
The five of them glanced at the map briefly, prepared some dry rations, and set off immediately.
It wasn't until the afternoon that the group finally stopped in a forest.
The Land of Fire is relatively safe. The ninja world has been at peace for more than a decade, and any major evil forces in the Land of Fire have long been wiped out by Konoha.
"That's all for today's journey. Next, I'll teach you some ninja tips and tricks so you can practice them in your spare time."
Kakashi calmly stepped onto a large tree and walked straight up, showing no sign of falling.
He then explained the principles of chakra usage and had the four members of Team 7 begin practicing.
Whether it was climbing trees or wading through water, Kong had practiced these skills long before, not long after he refined his chakra, but he had never shown them.
"I wonder which of the four of us will be the first to learn how to climb a tree," Kong Dao said.
"Of course it's me."
Naruto eagerly ran up the tree, while the remaining three members of Team 7 watched him with great interest.
An invisible flying needle appeared in Kong's hand without him noticing.
Full of bromance, let's go!
The flying needles vanished instantly into Naruto's body. Naruto had only run halfway when his feet suddenly slipped, and he fell from the sky with a scream.
However, it was stopped by a tree branch mid-fall and changed direction.
It was clear to see that Sasuke's pupils contracted sharply, a look of fear flashing across his face.
"Boom."
Naruto landed squarely on Sasuke, mouth to mouth, even making a smacking sound.
"Tsk tsk, true love prevails in the end. Sasuke, it seems you and Naruto are really destined for each other. This isn't the first time you've kissed."
[How is this possible? I don't believe it! Naruto kissed Sasuke twice! Ah, Sasuke belongs to Sakura Haruno! Naruto, you're dead!]
Kakashi was dumbfounded. Could it be that Naruto and Sasuke were truly destined for each other? But those two... Kakashi didn't dare to think about it anymore.
Chapter 18 Chakra
Sasuke shoved Naruto aside, frantically wiping his mouth and vomiting, his face filled with undisguised disgust.
Naruto felt the same way; a nauseous feeling seemed to linger in his mouth.
This is the third time the two have kissed. Could there really be something going on between them?
"Don't talk nonsense!" Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura shouted at the same time.
Sakura couldn't believe it. She hadn't even kissed Sasuke yet, and Naruto had kissed her three times! She was going to kill Naruto!
Sora shook his head and said, "Sakura, how can you blame Naruto for this? Naruto just couldn't control his chakra and fell from the tree."
Sora always felt that Sakura had violent tendencies, and if Sasuke were to be with her in the future, he probably wouldn't have a peaceful life. Ino was much gentler.
"Sora, don't talk nonsense. That's all from the narrator. What does it have to do with me, Sakura Haruno?"
"Alright, time is of the essence. You should hurry up and train. After that, you need to rest and prepare for tomorrow's journey."
Kakashi figured if he didn't stop them in time, these students would be arguing until dark. Sigh, at this age, romance is more important than training.
Sakura's eyes darted around, and she shouted, "Kakashi-sensei is right! Let's train before it gets dark. I don't want to fall too far behind Sasuke!"
"Watch me, I'm going in!"
Sakura stepped steadily on the big tree, much more stable than Naruto.
She glanced back and suddenly screamed, "Sasuke-kun, catch me! I can't hold on any longer!"
Sakura confirmed Sasuke's location and planned to give him a forceful kiss, just like Naruto did. Sasuke belonged to her, Sakura Haruno, and no one could take him away.
"Sasuke, catch me!"
Sasuke's pupils contracted sharply, as if he had imagined something terrible. He pushed off with his legs and took a short step back.
"Boom."
Sakura sank into the soil like a bomb.
Kakashi sighed and rubbed his forehead, unable to bear watching any longer. Sakura's stupidity had completely shattered his worldview.
Sasuke wiped the cold sweat from his brow, clearly quite frightened; the previous events had left a shadow in his mind.
"Is Sakura alright, Erzhuzi? You never know how to catch Sakura. Her forehead was already quite wide, and now it's probably even wider. It'll probably swell up into a huge forehead."
Sasuke pursed his lips, ignoring Sora's words.
Sakura immediately stood up, touched her face, and breathed a sigh of relief.
Sakura glared at Kong. This guy never tells the truth. He's so awful. She cursed him to never find a wife and to be a bachelor like Kakashi-sensei for life.
Kakashi was speechless. Why was it always him? They were such a handful of kids.
"The four of you, each choose a big tree and train on your own. Don't do anything else nonsense. After two hours of training, replenish your food, rest, and sleep."
Kakashi became serious. He couldn't be too gentle with these four, or they'd take advantage of him.
"Don't worry, Kakashi-sensei, we will definitely train hard."
[Ku shook his head. Kakashi-sensei's pretentious attitude was too fake. He should pretend to cooperate, otherwise he would lose face.]
"Haha, sorry Kakashi-sensei, the narrator just talks nonsense. This is not my own intention. I still admire Kakashi-sensei very much."
Kong hurriedly explained.
The sky was slightly overcast, and Kakashi was wearing a mask, so the four of them couldn't see his expression. They consciously spread out and found some thick trees to practice climbing.
The night passed in this chaotic yet peaceful atmosphere.
