At that moment, Baggetton had already been hit by two arrows in the buttocks!

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Anyone want to help... Ahhh!!!"

Before Baggton could react, Miral, who had been playing a trick, pulled the two crossbow bolts out of Baggton's buttocks! This caused Baggton to scream in pain and lured out the Cursed One!

“You have quite the nerve, daring to trespass on Jaken’s territory! I, Sebastian the Cursebinder, will personally end you!”

Suddenly, a thick, dark fog appeared in the courtyard where Lu Ming and the others were. A tall, burly knight, dressed in heavy black armor, holding a shield in one hand and a greatsword in the other, slowly floated out of the fog.

It brandished its greatsword, and a crimson light flashed from the gap in its helmet. It then floated in the air, coldly watching Lu Ming and the others.

"A cursed one?" Slowly surrounding the cursed one, Lu Ming sheathed his Irithyll Straight Sword and instead took out three Moonlight Arrows made of gold.

"Bajaton, hold on! Jack, heal him! Miraal, unleash your powerful Soul Arrow!"

"Are you the commander?!" Seeing Lu Ming directing the others, the Cursed One shouted and turned to slash at Lu Ming with his sword. Unfortunately...

"High-speed movement!" Just as the greatsword was about to strike Lu Ming, he suddenly dodged the attack with a high-speed movement. Furthermore, at extremely close range, he fired three Moonlight Arrows at a 45-degree angle, directly embedding them into the gaps in the Bane's helmet!

Gwyndolin's enhanced phantom allowed the Moonlight Arrow to pierce the Cursed One's head, shooting out from the back of the helmet and embedding itself in the outer wall of the building behind the Cursed One!

"Hehehe! You're not bad!" Even with his brain pierced by a bullet, the Cursed One did not fall. Instead, amidst laughter, he slapped Lu Ming away with his shield.

"Yaha!!" Taking advantage of the Bane's attention being on Lu Ming, Bajeton immediately struck the Bane's back with the Graveyard Greatsword.

"Clang!!"

With a simple turn and block, the Cursed One deflected Bajadon's attack and slashed out with his sword, sending Bajadon flying as he tried to block the blow with his assault shield!

"Great Healing!" Seeing that the Cursed One had rendered Lu Ming and Baggetton unable to fight after two consecutive attacks, Jack immediately cast a powerful healing miracle to prevent them from actually dying at the hands of the Cursed One.

"A miracle? Hah! Was your setup even considered? But do you think you can defeat me, Sebastian?"

"If we don't try, who will know?" Slowly getting up from the ground, Lu Ming wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, smiled, and pulled out two Moonlight Arrows as he spoke to the Cursed One.

"Then I can tell you, you're just courting death!"

"Is that so?" Lu Ming glanced at the bleeding Cursed One on the helmet, then used fine snow to add cold air to the Moonlight Arrow, drew the bow fully, and slightly curled the corners of his mouth, revealing a very dangerous smile.

"Then I can also tell you that we can defeat you!"

With a slight loosening of his fingers, the arrow shot out amidst the whistling wind, piercing through the Bane's shoulder and embedding itself in the wall behind it, freezing both of the Bane's shoulders in place!

"Giant Thunder Spear!" "Flame Hammer!" "Powerful Soul Arrow!"

As the Moonlight Arrow struck, Jack, Bajaton, and Miraal's attacks also hit the Cursed One, nearly knocking it off mid-air.

"Hahahaha... Interesting! It's unbelievable that such a weak being possesses such power. But I, Sebastian the Cursed, am not someone to be trifled with!" Even though he was covered in wounds, the Cursed One remained spirited, making cowards afraid to look him in the eye.

Ignoring its wounds, the Cursed One swung its greatsword with tremendous force, imbuing it with dark energy. Then, floating in the air, it charged towards Lu Ming!

"Test the knife!"

"Lu Ming! Get out of the way!" Jack shouted as soon as he saw the dark energy on the Cursed Greatsword.

But Lu Ming seemed frozen in fear, standing motionless. And so, the cursed one's sword snapped him in two at the waist!

"What!?"

However, the cursed one only severed Lu Ming's afterimage.

"Your country has long since perished, and the meaning of your existence has vanished. Now rest in peace, you cursed puppet!"

Lu Ming suddenly appeared behind the Cursed One, thrusting the Irithyll Straight Sword into the Cursed One's body, and at the same time placed a hand on the Cursed One's back, forcefully pulling the straight sword out.

"A wave of evil!"

A violent surge of malice erupted from Lu Ming's palm, blasting the cursed creature away. It crashed heavily into the wall, creating a huge hole in it!

"Flame Hammer!" "Giant Thunder Spear!"

Finally, two attacks from Baggetton and Jack brought the already dying Bane to a complete end!

After the cursed Sebastian turned into soul bubbles and disappeared, Lu Ming plopped down on the ground, panting heavily.

Like the three bosses Lu Ming had fought, the Cursed One dropped items upon death. However, this time, instead of skill books, it dropped its greatsword.

Since the only member of the team who used a greatsword, Bageton, already had the Graveyard Greatsword and didn't plan to switch weapons, the greatsword ended up belonging to Lu Ming. Whether he would actually use it or not, nobody knew.

After resting for a while, Lu Ming and his group resumed their advance. They then forced their way into a building that was only blocked off with a few broken wooden planks, where they played a thrilling game of hide-and-seek with several self-destructive scoundrels next to a pile of oil drums.

In the end, nothing was found except the corpse of a dead magician.

Picking up the Peheim's Staff from the mage's corpse, Lu Ming scratched his head, trying to recall if this was the same thing in the game. But he couldn't remember it at all.

However, he discovered that a door that used to be there, like a hole in the Path of Sacrifices, was gone.

Having experienced this many times before, he didn't think much of it and, together with Jack and the other two, left the building and headed towards the second campfire in the Forgotten Cage.

After Jack pulled the mechanism to open a huge iron gate, Lu Ming used his bow and arrow to feed poisoned arrows to the dogs behind the gate.

"That guy is watching us." The large iron gate slowly rose after Lu Ming poisoned all the dogs. But after taking only a few steps, Miral pointed to the top of a staircase leading up to the right, where a lewd ghost was hiding behind a large wooden barrel.

"Then let it never see it again!" Lu Ming grinned mischievously, took out a rocket used by the barbarians in Mi Harbor, and fired it at the large wooden barrel in front of the wandering spirit!

"Boom!!"

The moment the rocket hit the wood, the barrel exploded, blasting the wandering spirit into the sea.

"How pitiful. I hope it won't be eaten by fish." Watching the wandering soul being blown away and falling into the sea with a splash, Miral appeared to be pitying it, but in reality, he was cursing the wandering soul as he muttered to himself.

"Uh..." Everyone who didn't know Miral had this side to her looked at Miral in unison.

"What's wrong?" Seeing that everyone was looking at her, Miral tilted her head and asked cutely.

“Nothing… Bajaton, smash the wall!” Lu Ming touched his nose, then turned to Bajaton and made him smash a wall that was already full of cracks, in order to cover up his surprise at Miral’s cunning.

"Okay!" Having been tricked by Mirall once before, Baggetton immediately went to smash the wall without saying a word, so as not to let Mirall trick him again.

After a single, easy, powerful slap, a large hole was torn open in the shattered wall, revealing the campfire behind it.

"Everyone, come and take a rest!" After lighting the campfire, Bajedon plopped down in a corner of the room and called out to Lu Ming and the others.

Lu Ming and the others didn't stand on ceremony and went into the room one after another, sitting by the campfire and letting the fire heal their fatigue and injuries.

While resting, Lu Ming kept his eyes on another room that was separated from this room by only one door.

From my hazy memories, there used to be a blacksmith here. But now there are only two treasure chests and a bookshelf left; there's no sign of the blacksmith at all.

"Mira, let's go in and take a look."

"it is good!"

After resting for a while, Lu Ming called one of the two human-shaped lighters in the team and they went into the room with the bookshelves.

The room was completely dark, but by the light of the campfire outside, Lu Ming and Miral managed to find the torches and light them one by one.

"I can't understand these books. Is it written in Jaken?" Lu Ming didn't touch the two treasure chests for the time being, lest they be traps or something like a mimicry. He first took a book from the bookshelf and flipped through it casually.

Seeing that he couldn't understand the text in the book, Lu Ming took out his phone and put the book in the parcel locker.

"The Farron Codex: A spellbook that records several spells that the Crystal Elder researched for the Undead Legion."

An unknown mage stole the Crystal Elder's research notes, attempting to study this secret manual to enhance the power of Farron magic. However, it was ultimately discarded here because the enhancement it could provide was far too minimal.

"..." After reading the item description, Lu Ming was completely dumbfounded. The skill description for Nitro Charge could be attributed to something created by someone before, mastered and popularized by the Undead Legion. As for Farron Arrow Rain, it was simply because he couldn't learn other soul spells.

But! What the hell is this Farron Codex? Does this mean that the Farron Undead Legion had already become Lords of Cinder by this point?

Frustrated beyond measure, Lu Ming and Miral split the few books on the bookshelf in half. However, most of these books were unusable for Lu Ming. He would have to wait until they returned to Paris City to have Kanina study them.

After settling the bookshelf, Lu Ming and Miral couldn't help but look at the two treasure chests in the room.

Because he didn't know if the two chests were mimics, Lu Ming would always use the Irithyll Straight Sword to slash them before opening them, just to be on the safe side.

But in the end, it turned out that Lu Ming was being too cautious. These two chests weren't mimicry monsters at all; they were just two ordinary chests.

Under Miral's somewhat strange gaze, Lu Ming immediately opened the two treasure chests, only to find that the contents inside were rather rotten!

The first treasure chest contained a strange-looking stone, while the second treasure chest contained a Peheim's magic wand, which is just a very ordinary magic wand.

"Soul Crystal Stone: A gem used to enhance soul items."

A crystal originating from a colossal beast in the ocean, it can be used to strengthen items that contain sealed souls. It also provides the soul within the item with a more stable energy source, preventing it from dissipating.

"Was it intentional...?" After reading the description of the strange stone, Lu Ming couldn't help but mutter to himself. His fingers unconsciously stroked the amber eye on the pendant around his neck.

"What's wrong?" Because Lu Ming was muttering to himself very softly, Miral didn't hear him. But seeing that Lu Ming's expression was a little strange, she couldn't help but ask.

Lu Ming shook his head and lied: "It's nothing. I just found out that this thing can only be used by me."

"Oh. It's nothing. We can't use Bajerton's spells or Jack's miracles either, can we?"

"Yeah! It's nothing." Hearing Miral's comforting words, Lu Ming smiled and then used the Soul Crystal Stone. Instantly, the color of the amber on his pendant changed from its original amber color to a light blue.

"Your pendant's color can change?" Miral asked Lu Ming as she looked at the eyes peering around in the blue amber.

"Yes. It will change."

Perhaps because the undead lack true morality, even Jack of the White Cult didn't say anything when he saw the eyeball in Lu Ming's pendant. Miral and Baggetton were even less likely to say anything.

However, if this pendant were worn in Phu, it might not be appropriate to wear it like this.

Chapter Seven - Dungeon [The Forgotten Cage] Part Three

"Yusaha's Crystal Amber Eyes: A pendant inlaid with the eyes of a foolish woman."

The amber crystal on the pendant holds the eyes of a foolish woman, eyes yet to be corrupted by the abyss. By harnessing the last vestiges of soul within those eyes, the wearer can gain the skill called "Yosaha's Crystal Soul Spear." Furthermore, they can decipher Miracaissa's language.

-----------------------------------

"There are five enemies!" After opening a door, Baggetton yelled and rushed back.

Behind him stood five kingdom soldiers. Shouting and brandishing their greatswords, they charged madly and without any independent thought out of the large room, their only thought being to pull the moving onion back and fry it into onion rings.

"Seed Machine Gun!" "Thunder Gun!" "Fireball!"

But as soon as they ran out, before they could catch up with the onion, they were met with three completely different spells and miracles, and almost all of them died instantly.

When only one of them remained, the onion that was being chased suddenly turned around and slammed a graveyard greatsword into its face, killing the last one instantly.

"Why is it another greatsword?" Seeing that the kingdom's soldiers had all been killed, Lu Ming and the others walked over. However, Miral couldn't help but complain when he saw the greatsword that the trophy warrior couldn't use himself.

"Having a greatsword is already pretty good. If it were those self-destructing spirits, they might not even have anything!"

"But out of all these things, only Baggetton among us can use them. Don't you find that a bit strange?"
