One Piece: Enhanced Supreme Grade Sword

Hill looked at his stats panel; his attribute points had now reached 174 million.

At that very moment.

The laboratory doorbell rang.

Hill opened the door, and a Marine wearing a Navy Justice Cloak appeared outside.

"Admiral Hill, these are Devil Fruits that Fleet Admiral Sengoku asked me to deliver to you." The marine said, opening the box. Inside were three Devil Fruits of different colors and shapes.

"This is the Paramecia-type Cotton-Cotton Fruit, a superior Devil Fruit to the String-String Fruit," he said, pointing to a white, round Devil Fruit.

Then, pointing to a black and white rubber-like Devil Fruit, he said, "This is a Zoan-type Dog-Dog Fruit, Alatsuki Sled Dog Mode!"

"..."

Hill was speechless when he heard the name of the Devil Fruit mentioned by the naval soldier.

I couldn't help but think of a certain silly and adorable pet that destroys things around the house.

Is this serious?

He couldn't help but recall a novel he had read, the main character of which was a "Siberian Husky"!

There are some novels about dogs, but those featuring a husky as the main character are extremely rare.

"This last Devil Fruit is a Zoan-type Snake-Snake Fruit, an Ancient Zoan, and an Ancient Slit-Mouthed Serpent!" After the Marine finished introducing it, he handed the Devil Fruit to Hill.

Hill took the box and said, "Thank you for your help. Go back now!"

After the naval soldiers left, he immediately closed the laboratory door as well.

Carrying the box, he walked to the testing table. "Let's try strengthening the Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit first. I wonder what kind of Devil Fruit it will become?"

After putting down the box, Hill took out the Ancient Zoan Snake-Snake Fruit.

Chapter 143 The Path of Evolution Begins with the Pheasant

"Ancient species are definitely stronger than ordinary species at the start. What would they become if they were strengthened 20 times in the same way?"

"Yinglong?"

"Zhulong?"

Hill was filled with anticipation and excitement.

He picked up the enhancement stone and slapped it at the Devil Fruit.

The strengthening stone emitted a dazzling light that illuminated the laboratory.

next second.

Hill frowned. "What's going on? The enhancement stone didn't integrate into the Devil Fruit?"

In sight.

Although the enhancement stone still shone brightly, there was no sign that it was about to merge into the Devil Fruit.

Even with the power in Hill's hands, the enhancement stone could not be integrated into the Devil Fruit.

Instead, it created a hole in the Devil Fruit's peel.

He called out to the system in his mind, "System!"

"What's going on?!"

"Why were I able to enhance my Zoan-type Cat-Cat Fruit Tiger Mode before?!"

He genuinely didn't quite understand the rules of reinforcement.

However, the system did not provide a response or explanation.

Hill began to speculate, "Could it be because it wasn't drawn from the system that it can't be enhanced?"

"Or is it because Devil Fruits from the outside world don't have the ability to enhance abilities?"

"Or perhaps this Devil Fruit is the life form the system mentioned, and the life forms extracted by the system can be strengthened?!"

He couldn't get an answer.

I'm a little disappointed. If all these Devil Fruits could be used to enhance my abilities, I would have made a fortune.

The Snake-Snake Fruit evolves into a dragon form, and there's also the Dog-Dog Fruit...

Could it be the Celestial Dog?

Or is it Huo Dou?

Or perhaps something else.

But it doesn't matter anymore, since it can't be strengthened anyway.

"It seems the only option is the Zoan-type Pheasant form that I drew from the enhancement system." Hill picked up the enhancement stone and began to enhance the Pheasant form Devil Fruit.

After the strengthening stone emitted light, it began to gradually merge into the Devil Fruit.

All the way up to Devil Fruit +5.

The system notification sounded.

[Congratulations, host, your enhancement has been successful. You have obtained the Zoan-type Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Ancient Zoan, Archaeopteryx form.]

"This... how is this still the Dragon-Dragon Fruit?!" Hill was speechless.

Judging from the name, what is this if not a bird?

Why is the system still showing "Dragon-Dragon Fruit"?!

It can only be said that Hill lacked cultural knowledge; he didn't know that Archaeopteryx was an extinct feathered dinosaur.

Of course, it's hard to say whether it's extinct in this world, but it is definitely an extinct species on Earth.

However, Hill didn't pay much attention. "Let's continue strengthening it. Anyway, I won't use this Devil Fruit."

It is not strengthened to a satisfactory level.

He won't stop.

Pick up the enhancement stones and start enhancing again.

Devil Fruit Enhancement +6.

"Finally, a mythical beast! I know about the Panlong. It's a legendary dragon that lies dormant on the ground and hasn't yet ascended to the heavens. It usually appears on various stone pillars, beams, and ceilings." Although Hill was pleasantly surprised, he still felt it wasn't enough.

This thing is nowhere near as good as the White Tiger form of the Four Celestial Beasts.

He turned and left the test bench, walked to the spot where the Ink Dragon No. 1 had been placed in the laboratory, and took out the horse talisman from the Ink Dragon No. 1.

Then he received a level-up scroll from the system.

A enhancement stone was upgraded to +1.

Hill then began to use the +1 enhancement stone to strengthen the Devil Fruit.

The strengthening stone emitted a more dazzling light than ordinary strengthening stones, and began to gradually merge into the Devil Fruit.

After a while.

With a bang, the Devil Fruit exploded.

"Did it fail? It wasn't a 100% success rate for enhancement after all. So, is the difference between this +1 enhancement stone and a regular enhancement stone that the enhancement effect is different?" Hill wasn't surprised.

This was certainly within his expectations.

What puzzled him was the difference between a +1 enhancement stone and a regular enhancement stone!

Hill is also unable to find an answer to this question at the moment.

He picked up another level-up scroll and upgraded an ordinary enhancement stone to +1.

They began to further enhance the Devil Fruit!

Successfully upgraded to +16!

[Congratulations, host! Your enhancement has been successful. You have obtained the Zoan-type Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Golden Dragon form!]

Hill kept performing the repetitive, reinforced movements.
