Make Azeroth breathtaking

Tanis chuckled dryly, signaling Sargeras to continue, while her mind raced, searching for a way to escape—she had just tested the overload method to destroy the engine, but it didn't seem to be very effective.
“You seem confused as to why I recruited you instead of someone else.”
"Appreciate further details."
Tannis, her hands still fiddling with her console, decided to listen to the 'Destroyer's' explanation for the time being.
“If I am to surpass Sargeras, then I need a spokesperson.”
"Sorry, I'm a little hard of hearing. What are you saying?"
If Tannis was merely surprised before, she was now truly shocked—it was a consensus in Azeroth that Sargeras from World of Warcraft, due to his nature, was not the same as Sargeras from any other timeline. However, for these words to come from his mouth...
“I am an aggregate… an aggregate that has been given the name ‘Sargeras’ by this ‘world’. That is the truth—even if your ‘Sargeras’ is madly ‘guiding’ me down its path, I am still not ‘Sargeras’. Since I am not it, why should I do things according to its will?”
"Uh, hehehe... So you still haven't explained why you've taken a liking to me?"
“You are the 'bridge'.”
"!!!"
"You are the bridge."
With these words that made Tannis pale, countless maps were projected before the Destroyer. Tannis could clearly see that these maps were Azeroth, Outland, Draenor, the Shadowlands... Earth, the Solar System!
"After destruction comes creation—Amon's plan made me realize how foolish my previous 'replacement' was. I can do more, even better than Sargeras—to do that, I need a spokesperson, someone to give my voice in both worlds, and you are the spokesperson I've chosen—you understand 'both sides' better than anyone else in Azeroth or on Earth."
"Sorry, I refuse."
Tani refused the 'Destroyer's' invitation without hesitation, and the Destroyer, as if expecting it, let out a low laugh.
"Don't worry, we have unlimited time. I can wait patiently until you agree...???"
Without warning, Sargeras's image began to blur, and a sliver of order appeared amidst the surrounding chaos. Seizing this opportunity, Tanis pushed the engine to its maximum, forcibly activating the teleportation device and leaping out. Sargeras, seeing his prize arrive, watched as several completely unknown data streams flowed into his eyes without warning, his eyes blazing with malevolent fire.
"What are these unknown, massive data streams? Why do they give me such a bad feeling?"
69. The Linked Blizzard Universe
"Ha, things are developing in a more interesting way than I imagined... As expected, our Dreadlord's plans always fall apart..."
Varimathras stretched out his hand and gently tapped the void in front of him, a half-smile playing on his lips. The Blizzard Reborn around him—including the players—were collectively gripped by fear. The reason was simple: the universe around them was now showing signs of instability and tremors—clearly, something was going wrong in this universe!
"Varimasas, why did things turn out this way? What are you thinking?"
Seeing the continuous anomalies appearing in all directions, the reborn who had just completed the 'input information' with Varimathras rushed to its side and tried to grab it. However, Varimathras was like a phantom, and all the reborn who approached it passed right through its body without touching anything.
"Sorry, I forgot, but this development seems quite interesting, I like it. I originally thought that crossing timelines would be a bit more difficult than I imagined... Maybe it's because of that hub that essentially assumes these worlds are one system? Oh well, whatever, anyway, I shouldn't be involved for the time being."
Varimathras shrugged, indicating his satisfaction with the outcome, then transformed into a swarm of bats and vanished, leaving the Legion players, abandoned and unsure of what to do, staring at each other in bewilderment. After a long pause, one player suddenly cried out in surprise.
"Wait a minute, why has the logo on my panel changed to the Diablo logo? I remember it was the WoW logo just now!"
————————————Deep in the Void————————————————————
"Where is this place?"
Jim Raynor stared at the chaotic universe before him, feeling a bit disoriented. Not long ago, he and Kerrigan had just completed a successful planetary exploration and were then warping in their ship when Kerrigan suddenly detected a strange signal. With Raynor's permission, Kerrigan entered the coordinates into the warp drive, and as a result, they found themselves in an unknown region!
"This is a world in the making... Renault, though for now it consists only of information."
As a Xel'Naga, Kerrigan easily saw through the true nature of this universe.
So we're just a bunch of data right now?
"You could say that...Eamon???"
"Eamon? Damn it! It really is Eamon!"
Upon hearing this damned name, Jim quickly approached the display screen and saw the figure shown on it. He gasped in shock. The figure that Kerrigan had analyzed was indeed Amon!
"No, it isn't, but if this world completes its evolution, it might become Amon..."
After her initial surprise, Kerrigan realized the true nature of 'Amon,' which relieved Raynor.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's stop it! Amon can't be allowed to appear again!"
"Yes, but before that, I need to figure out one more thing: why is this place like this...?"
As she was saying this, Kerrigan suddenly stretched out her hand and released a circle of psionic energy. Under the cleansing of her psionic energy, an uninvited guest emerged from a corner of the ship. Upon seeing the face of this uninvited guest, Raynor froze on the spot.
"...Zeratul?"
"It's him."
Kerrigan's psionic energy swept quickly across the body of the person who appeared to be Zeratul, giving an affirmative answer. As a Xel'Naga, it was easy for her to determine whether someone was an imposter.
"But Zeratul has already sacrificed himself!"
"Let him say it himself, cowboy."
Kerrigan withdrew her psionic powers, freeing Zeratul from his restraints. Jim chuckled, walked over to his old comrade, stared into his glowing eyes, and his voice trembled slightly.
"Zeratul, is it really you? You've really come back?"
"It's me, but if you want me to answer why I'm here, I can't."
The light in Zeratul's eyes flickered in confusion; his memory remained at the moment of his death in battle—at that time, he should have already passed away.
"That's alright! Zeratul! You're back, that's enough!"
Having received a reply from his old friend, Jim slapped Zeratul on the shoulder and pointed to the screen, where the Amon that resembled Amon was waving its tentacles, seemingly trying to catch something.
"We're going to fight Amon again, want to come along?"
————————————The other side—————————————————————
"Mentor, mentor, sob sob sob—it's so wonderful to see you, so wonderful to see you!"
On a floating wasteland, a sorcerer named Li Min clung to the leg of a female mage in front of her, crying her heart out. The female mage, named Isendra, affectionately patted her apprentice's head and gently helped her up.
"Li Min, I'm very happy to see your achievements—it's just that these achievements are a little..."
"Ha...haha...I just touched an unknown node that I had detected."
The arcane mage named Li Min—who also had the identity of a Nephalem—wiped away her tears and gave a dry laugh. Not long ago, while trying a new teleportation spell, she accidentally captured a node that did not belong to the Sanctuary world, nor to Hell or Heaven. Out of curiosity, she activated the node, and the next second, she appeared in this wasteland, along with her long-deceased mentor whose soul had disappeared.
"In any case, you must have a reason for seeing this point. Now, use magic to find that reason."
After Li Min calmed down, Isendra spoke softly.
"Understood, mentor!"
Full of energy, Li Min quickly clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and channeled the energy of her secret technique. As she cast the spell, things churning and swirling in the flames gradually appeared in her mind. It was a demon roaring in the fire, a dark being that should have been 'sealed' long ago.
"So that's how it is. Diablo of the Seven Deadly Sins was actually reborn in this world? This cunning thing didn't even choose to be reborn in the Sanctuary? He even gave up the Soul Stone! That's bold!"
When Li Min opened her eyes again, she already understood—the Seven Deadly Sins Diablo had actually appeared in this world, so the answer to why she had inexplicably found this point was obvious—beating Diablo and restoring world peace was her duty as a Nephalem!
"Come on, mentor! I want to show you the results of my training!"
70. Some Truths
"So, where is this place?"
The Great Tinker sat in New Gransin, expressionless, gazing at the birdsong and fragrant flowers before her, and at the edge of this paradise, a towering tree that seemed to rival even Nordrassil—a tree that must be the World Tree. She pondered what strange place she had been transported to this time—just now, she had set the jump destination to the coordinates of Sordbrega, but the problem was, the area she was in now was not even in the universe, let alone Sordbrega!
"Welcome, Tanis the Great Tinker from Azeroth."
Just as Tannis was frowning, tapping on the control panel, and trying to re-establish communication with her troops, a large line of words written in Titan language appeared before her.
"What should I call you? World of Warcraft, or Azeroth?"
Upon seeing those two words, Tannis immediately understood who had dragged her to this place—or rather, who was the master of this place. Although Blizzard Entertainment on Earth had written a whole bunch of Titan statements, they didn't actually understand the format and syntax of Titan statements. And while her side did understand Titan statements, even that clown Brian had never used Titan statements in World of Warcraft. So, the existence she was connected to was almost obvious.
"I am merely a 'simulation' of Azeroth; you can call me World of Warcraft."
A few seconds later, the string of Titan runes appeared on the screen.
"It seems your origins are even more bizarre than I imagined."
After a few seconds of contemplation, the Great Tinker gleaned something from the words of this 'World of Warcraft' player. Combined with Sargeras's mention of a 'bridge' when recruiting her, it was hard for her not to think of certain individuals wandering outside the timeline...
"After Aman'Thul created the time trap for Azeroth, he continued to wander the depths of the universe, spreading the order of the Titans. At one point, Aman'Thul, exhausted, chose to rest. But strangely, the Titan of Time fell into a dream. In the dream, he saw a world—a world completely devoid of any fundamental power, without Titans, without the Void, without magic, yet possessing an extraordinary sense of orderly beauty..."
"...Okay, please continue..."
Tennyson's expression became subtle, and she couldn't help but start making sarcastic remarks.
"The dream was both long and short. When Aman'Thul awoke from the dream, he began to search for that world. But to his surprise, there was no place in the entire universe that matched this world—the structure of the universe itself was supported by six forces after the order was established, and even the Titans, who represented order, were only a part of the forces. So, Aman'Thul found his brothers, told them about his discovery, and asked them to help him find this world. In Aman'Thul's view, this world might be nurturing another Titan whose potential was no less than that of Azeroth."
"Have the Titans been found?"
"No, the Titans found nothing until after their second return to Azeroth... They collectively had a dream in which they saw this world, experienced life as 'people' of this world, and confirmed its facts—it was a world completely unrelated to the Titans' universe, possessing its own independent laws. And what surprised the Titans most was that this world seemed to resonate with countless unknowable worlds, recording their stories..."
After saying that, World of Warcraft paused for a moment.
"This unique experience gave Aman'Thul a sudden idea—since this world doesn't exist on any node, located outside the vast universe that even the Titans can't interfere with, yet it can 'resonate' with countless worlds and record their stories, could he leave behind a piece of 'Azeroth' information in this world as a special, albeit unconventional, move? That way, even if Azeroth were completely destroyed, a seed would still remain." After gaining the approval of the other Titans, Aman'Thul peered into the timeline and left a portion of Azeroth's future story on Earth as the foundation for everything.
"Then, this story created a resonance effect, and Blizzard employees wrote the story of Azeroth in response—but as the timeline trap of Azeroth came to an end, the story began to go awry—even finding information in the failed timelines?"
"Yes, without this timeline connection, I would have just continued as an ordinary game until it was shut down. But you opened the door and allowed me to begin to change towards a 'complete' world."
"Alright, so why did you come to me? Let's be clear first, we have no way or ability to guide you into our timeline. Our entry into this world could already be considered a form of 'cheating'—after all, Earth and the Azeroth universe are completely different universes with different laws."
Although some things remained unclear, Tannis, having grasped some of the reasons behind World of Warcraft's sudden data explosion and the emergence of the peculiar phenomenon of reborn individuals, became cautious. In her view, even though she was now on the same side as World of Warcraft, their actions of attracting her seemed...
"Ah, actually, your teleportation here was an accident... Although the outside world has begun to have a new order due to the access of new 'world' information, that area is still essentially chaotic, and your teleportation coordinates are not very stable..."
The Titan script written in World of Warcraft suddenly became lively.
"what?"
"Don't worry, things are very stable here—but I really didn't expect you to teleport here—should I say you truly live up to your title of 'Bridge'?"
"So what does the bridge mean? Was I really an Earthling before? Why do I remember so many things, but have no memory of living on Earth?"
"I'm sorry, Great Tinker, I cannot answer this question. Perhaps you are a miracle of Azeroth that 'resonates' with Earth, or perhaps you come from another world and, upon falling into Azeroth, witnessed both the Azerothian timeline and the landscape of Earth..."
Faced with the suddenly agitated Great Tinker, World of Warcraft remained silent for a few seconds before displaying these words on the screen. Knowing he wouldn't get an answer, the Great Tinker sighed and ran his fingers across the crystal ball.
