"Splash!!!"

Just as Baron Geddon gathered the power of the flames to the critical point, several pools of clear springs gushed out from beneath his feet without warning. Although the water elemental power contained in these springs was fleeting, it still caused a portion of the fire element gathered by Baron Geddon to be neutralized, creating a 'hole' in his body!

"We can stop you, Baron Gaddon!!!"

Before Baron Geddon could even patch up his wounds, Thrall, wielding the Doomhammer completely covered in frost, charged into his arms with a fierce battle cry, almost completely burying the legendary warhammer forged in the heart of Draenor into Baron Geddon's abdomen! Instantly! The pure water essence from the Tidehunters was detonated inside Baron Geddon's body.

"The same to you!!!!"

Completely unprepared for the fact that the Tidehunter's power also resided within the Doomhammer, Baron Geddon felt a chill emanating from his wound, which quickly began to spread to other parts of his body. Knowing full well that he had to finish this quickly or he would be finished, he squeezed the elemental core within his body with all his might, causing the churning ring of flames to spread outwards frantically once again.

"Buzz buzz buzz!!!"

Baron Geddon's attention was completely drawn to Thrall, so he didn't notice the swarm of drones diving down behind him immediately. By the time he felt the icy chill behind him, the drones, carrying pure water poison, had already plunged into his body, further catalyzing the 'gift' brought to him by the Doomhammer.

"peaceful."

Naralex murmured a simple word, condensing the remaining moisture in the surrounding air into a healing drizzle that fell to the ground, nourishing the allied members who were wounded by Baron Geddon's hellfire. However, for Baron Geddon, this rain was no less than the worst provocation!

"I'll kill you! Night Elf!!!"

Completely exposed, Baron Geddon raised his right hand and branded a flame rune onto Naralex's body. Unexpectedly, the archdruid transformed into a storm raven the moment the rune touched him and flew away from the crowd, then leisurely lay down on the ground.

"Baron Gaddon, do you think we wouldn't know your tricks?"

Jaina's clear voice rang out, and frigid frost gathered in her hands. Behind her, the mage ranks also raised their hands, wielding the already formed power of ice.

"Feel your soul..."

Baron Geddon, weakened by at least a third of the power of the water element, dared not be careless. He turned around and prepared to use his most proficient flames, which could burn both body and spirit, to ignite the mage group who were gathering their strength. However, the unfolding of a voodoo barrier caused his flames to vanish once again.

"Make way! Make way! Make way!!!!"

Iggy's shrill, distorted voice reached the ears of everyone present. Accompanied by her shout, a motorcycle that had been modified countless times, with a Ratchet scrap license plate on its back, and stuffed with ice, elemental water, refrigerant, or something worse, sped towards Baron Geddon and exploded into a shower of snowflakes with a deafening roar.

"Frost Arrow, fire!!!"

The instant Baron Geddon's vision was obscured by the rising frost, Jaina, Romans, and Thaurissan simultaneously unleashed their powerful Frostbolts. As their Frostbolts were cast, the mages' Frostbolts followed the trajectory of the archmages' Frostbolts, piercing into the Fire Elemental Baron's body.

"No! No! This shouldn't be happening!!"

As the Frostbolt pierced its body, the Tidehunter's water elemental power, which had been barely suppressed by Baron Geddon, began to surge again within it. This forced Baron Geddon to once again expend most of his power to deal with it. Then, its body was struck by Thrall's Doomhammer. As it roared, trying to burn Thrall to death, a drone carrying freezing bombs once again entered its body—with dozens of Frostbolts following behind...

After several cycles of suppression and activation, the flames around Baron Gardon's body grew increasingly dim, and his enormous body gradually shrank. Wisps of cold air even landed where he had passed. It was clear to anyone with eyes that Baron Gardon was about to collapse.

"Lord of Flames...I'm sorry..."

Finally, under a barrage of frost arrows, Baron Geddon, whose flames had been completely extinguished, let out a final sigh and became nothing but a wisp of smoke, leaving nothing but a shape that looked like a half-sphere.

"This is......"

Sal walked to the side of the hemisphere, half-squatted down, and after sensing it slightly, his expression immediately changed.

"What is this power?"

"What's wrong, Sal?"

Upon hearing Thrall's exclamation, Jaina leaned on her staff and walked to Thrall's side.

"I can sense a faint but extremely refined wind power within it; perhaps this is some kind of seal."

"This seal is incomplete; there should still be half of it."

Jaina quickly examined the half-sphere and came to a conclusion.

"Let's put it away for now. A seal that can be carried by an elemental of Baron Geddon's caliber is definitely not an ordinary object. When things are more or less settled, we'll ask Duke Hydraxia. He should know what this thing is."

Although she remembered what this thing was, Tannis, who dared not say it outright, offered a suggestion indirectly, and Thrall nodded in agreement.

"We'll do as you say."

61. The Story of the Wind Chaser

As Baron Geddon's raging flames extinguished in the material world, Gard's end also befell him.

As the king of lava elements, Gar not only possesses a larger, hotter, and harder body than ordinary lava elements, but also the ability to peel off unstable derivatives from his body. These derivatives, which explode when he is near death, combined with Gar's lava shackles and magical dispel abilities, almost turn Gar into a mobile fortress. It can be said that ordinary armies are simply helpless against something like Gar.

However, under the blessing of Daelin's Tidebringer, blessed by the Tidehunters, Garr's abilities were largely sealed by the pure water essence that had seeped into his body. His offspring were reduced to mere smoldering stone elementals, and his prized physical attacks became ineffective due to the combined power of Faol and Haruni. His rock shackles were also significantly weakened by the Tranquil Rain summoned by Brol. As a result, this powerful lava elemental lord was brutally hacked to pieces by the allied forces, dying without ever mounting a proper counterattack.

"What's this?"

After defeating Gar, Varian used Salamani to poke around in Gar's remains for a while and found a hemispherical object among the rubble—like Thrall, he keenly realized that this object was no ordinary thing.

"I can hear the sound of wind inside."

Archdruid Broll Bearskin took the item handed to him by his comrade, his shimmering pupils narrowing slightly. He could clearly sense that in this unassuming hemisphere, a gentle breeze was whispering indistinct stories from ancient times.

"Do you know what this is, Broll?"

Bloor shook his head.

"Perhaps we can ask Duke Hydakxia; he should know what we've found."

As he spoke, Bloor turned to look at Daelin, who understood and plunged his sword into a crater, softly chanting a spell.

—————————————A few minutes later————————————————————

"Mortals, you amaze me! You have extinguished Baron Geddon's fire and stopped Garr from roaming the earth!"

Amidst the gurgling sound of flowing water, Duke Hydraxia's avatar slowly emerged from the clear spring created by the Tidebringer. Naturally, it immediately sensed the disappearance of the two water elementals' archenemies.

"You flatter me, Duke Hydraxia. I found this on a lava elemental known as Garr, and I think it might be related to your elementals."

As Varian spoke, he showed the object in his hand to Duke Hydakxia. Upon seeing the peculiar hemisphere, Duke Hydakxia's body visibly trembled.

"This is the cage of the Windseeker, and within this cage lies the shell of the wind elemental prince, Thunderaan the Windseeker. I never imagined the fire elementals would dare allow this thing to appear in Molten Core."

"The Prince of Wind?"

Thrall, who had come to join Varian, happened to hear Duke Hydraxia speak, and as he held the other half of the sphere, he suddenly felt that what he was holding was incredibly heavy.

"Before you mortals were even born into this world, we elements were already traversing the material plane, and the relationship between the four elements was far from friendly—for us water elements, fire elements are mortal enemies, earth elements are rivals who mutually erode each other, and wind elements are annoying bandits—if we water elements are like this, let alone the savage and violent fire elements..."

As Duke Hydraxia recounted his tale, the most ancient Azeroth, more ancient than antiquity itself, more historical than history itself, unfolded before everyone's eyes like a scroll. They saw wind elementals riding the gales across the sky, as light as migratory birds. In the oceans swam not schools of fish, but water elementals of all sizes, cutting through the waves like real fish, dominating the primordial seas. On the land, earth elementals roamed like wild beasts, occasionally cracking or bulging the earth, while fire elementals played the role of destroyers, bursting forth to incinerate everything in their path.

"...Because the territories of the four elements are intertwined and overlapping, elemental battles are commonplace. Therefore, just as powerful beings emerge among you mortals, powerful elements have also arisen in addition to the four elemental lords. One of the best among the wind elementals is Thunderaan the Windseeker. As a rising star in the wind elementals, Thunderaan led his Silent Wind Legion, sweeping across the southern part of what you now call Kalimdor, almost driving the other elementals there to the brink of extinction."

After saying this, Duke Hydakxia mumbled something for a while before continuing.

"However, the young and impetuous Windseeker—or rather, all wind elementals are young and impetuous—did not expect that its unstoppable advance was merely a trick laid by Ragnaros to obtain the Essence of Wind. Yes, Ragnaros, quite remarkably, used its burnt-out brain to lure the completely unaware Thunderaan to what you now call the Silithus Desert, where the Windseeker was besieged by the fire elemental legion, and it and its legion ultimately perished—it now appears that the fire elemental legion was led by Garr and Baron Geddon at the time, which explains why the Windseeker's remains were sealed within them."

"Why does Ragnaros want the Essence of Wind? It is the king of fire elementals."

Thrall's question seemed to make Duke Hydraxia tilt his body slightly.

"Wind can fuel fire, and fire can generate wind. If one could master the power of wind through the essence of the Wind Chaser, the Fire Demon King could make its flames sweep farther and wider. But ironically, until those guys arrived, the Fire Demon King still hadn't mastered the power of wind. Judging from the current situation, it still hasn't mastered the power of wind."

"Are those guys Titans?"

Iggy asked curiously, knowing full well that sealing the elements into the elemental plane was the work of the Titans.

"No, not Titan, but..."

Whether it was a misperception or not, everyone felt that Duke Hydakxia had rambled on, and then, Duke Hydakxia pronounced the name word by word.

"Ancient Gods".

62. The troops split into two groups, no, three groups!

Although the title of Old God, which made even the elements tremble, aroused the curiosity of most of those present, Duke Hydraxia was clearly unwilling to discuss the matter further. After guiding the power of flowing water to outline a new protective barrier in the flat area where they were, and informing them that because the four fire runes had been extinguished, the concentration of fire element inside the Molten Core had gradually decreased to the enrichment level of nature, it disappeared into the pool.

"What exactly is that ancient god?"

Varian frowned; his intuition told him that an unspeakable ominous presence lurked behind the name.

“That’s certainly not good, Varian, but our immediate priority is to regroup our forces and take down the last three Ragnaros guards in one fell swoop—before the fire elementals retaliate against our actions.”

Varian nodded in agreement.

“You’re right, Sal, but I think we need to split our forces.”

"Splitting the troops?"

"Yes, look."

Varian took a map out of his waist pocket, unfolded it, and then drew a few lines on it with his finger.

"It's been almost twelve hours since we entered Molten Core, and if we continue to fight with our forces concentrated, including rest, it will take us at least twenty hours to eliminate the last three Guardians—although Ragnaros hasn't made a move yet, we can't rely on the enemy remaining inactive."

"But if we divide our forces..."

Sal frowned slightly. He mentally assessed the situation and found that Varian's calculations were not significantly flawed.

“We have divided our forces and defeated Garr and Baron Geddon, Thrall.”

Varian's words made Thrall nod knowingly.

"Then let's do it this way. After the troops have rested here, we'll split up and defeat the remaining two fire demon guardians. Then, we'll meet up with the final guardian, the Incinerator Guremang, defeat it, and extinguish the last rune."

"Let's do it this way."

———————————————Divination line under repair————————————————

"Tannis, the Great Tinker, are you preparing to lead an independent force to challenge Guremange?"

During the break, Tannis found Varian and the others and made them a very unexpected request.

"Well, since there are almost no narrow spaces on the battlefield ahead, I want to bring over some new weapons and equipment from Ratchet to test them out. The Lava Giants, with their large size, slow movement, high defense, tenacious vitality, and weak ranged attack capabilities, are the perfect targets."

Tanis responded to Varian's surprised expression with nonchalant ease.

“This is dangerous, Tennyson the Tinker.”

"Rest assured, even if my weapons cannot defeat it, I can hold out with my independent forces until you join me."

Tanys's resolute answer made Varian raise an eyebrow. After a moment's thought, he made his decision.

"If your weapon can convince me."

"No problem, I'm arranging for my engineers to open the portals. You'll be able to see them soon."
