"It doesn't matter." Euryale walked to the side of the dragon and kicked the motionless dragon's head. Euryale then looked at Nianzhuo and Asterius. "Now the dragon scales are all collected, right? It's quite interesting. Although skipping the process and just looking at the result is indeed simple and worry-free, it's also very enjoyable to watch others struggle like this."

"Thank you for your insightful observation, which is truly divine." Drake, having recovered his composure, shrugged and looked at the bewildered Asterius. "You've been chosen by someone extraordinary, haven't you, buddy?"

“Hmm…” Asterius glanced at Drake with a puzzled look, then squatted down and began to try to peel the dragon scales off the dragon’s body.

“Yale yaale--” Nianzhuo shrugged and squatted down on the ground to begin the tedious journey of peeling dragon scales.

Drake gathered the dragon scales collected by his Servants and handed them over to the craftsman.

"Alright! Boss, you can leave it to me!" The pirate blacksmith thumped his chest muscles with confidence. "Although I might not be able to beat Asterius and Nianzhuo in strength, I won't lose in terms of craftsmanship!"

The clanging and banging of blacksmithing echoed throughout the night.

The dragon scale armor, gleaming with a jet-black metallic luster, was finally completed thanks to the craftsmen's all-night work, and was subsequently installed on the Golden Deer by Nian Zhuo and his team.

"The processing and repairs are all complete!" Just as dawn was breaking, Drake shouted happily as he looked at the fully repaired warship. "The holes in the hull have also been completely patched up, and there are no more leaks."

Then, Drake pointed to the long, slender horn that extended beyond the ship's bow. Originally made of wood, its tip was now covered with black dragon scales, as if Drake were showing off his creation.

"I've also put all the extra dragon scales on the ram; it looks like that'll be interesting." Drake seemed to already see himself becoming invincible with this ram.

Drake then waved to the group of people behind him who were still rubbing their eyes, pointing to Nianzhuo.

"Alright... it's up to you now! Nianzhuo!" Seeing the surprise in the other's eyes as his name was suddenly called, Drake confidently pointed to the ship. "A knight with unparalleled strength, capable of lifting a cauldron! The rest is in your hands!"

“Uh…” Looking at the warships moored on the shore behind Drake, Nian Zhuo was honestly not confident that he could replicate the miracle from before.

Moreover—his own spiritual core seemed to be emitting a mournful cry of unbearable burden.

"I guess I have no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it...?" Nian Zhuo was about to get up when a very familiar-looking arm blocked his way.

It was Asterius. His eyes, fixed on Drake, silently conveyed a fighting spirit and the oppressive feeling of choosing him.

"...Alright, then it's yours. It seems Nianzhuo isn't feeling too well either." Extending his hand to Asterius, the captain confidently proclaimed, "Asterius, the mighty and valiant warrior! It's your turn!"

"Hmm." Asterius nodded in satisfaction, glanced at Nian Zhuo and Euryale, then walked towards the Golden Deer. Gripping the hull with both hands, the berserker growled in a low voice, "Ugh—!!!"

"The wound seems to have healed. He's really strong." Euryale stared at Asterius, who was pushing the boat not far away, with a hint of nostalgia in her voice. "He's just like my silly sister."

"Alright," Euryale then took a deep breath, cupped her hands to her mouth like a megaphone, and shouted, "Let's go and do something big!"

"Ughh ...

"Ohh ...

"Ugh... ugh." Having clearly heard the pirates' words, Asterius turned his head to the side, but his cheeks had already turned slightly red.

But the strength in his hands never stopped, and finally, with his push, the Golden Deer returned to the surface of the sea.

"Alright, guys! Get on board!" Drake called to the pirates and Nian Zhuo, unable to contain his excitement. "Let's get revenge on that Blackbeard bastard! Don't worry! This time it'll be fine!" He then waved, and even Drake couldn't contain his excitement as he began to board the ship.

"Trust me, follow me!" Her high spirits infected the pirates, who erupted in enthusiastic cheers.

“I said, my dear,” Artemis squeezed Orion’s shoulder, her voice tinged with anticipation, “try that, you know, that pose with your arms outstretched under the bowsail!”

"No way...! That's a death flag...!" Nian Zhuo wanted to say that, but he still managed to suppress his urge to complain. "This isn't the Titanic... it should be fine, right... it should be fine."

"Well, do it if you want." Orion, already exhausted and looking rather cuddly, leaned on Artemis's shoulder, not wanting to move. "Go play by yourself, but remember to watch out for the seagulls!"

"Aren't you going to hold me tight?!" Artemis looked at Orion as if she were looking at a clueless straight man. "That's so mean!" Tears were even welling up in her eyes.

"Don't force the doll to do something it's not right!!" Orion stretched out his short, furry hand, which couldn't even reach his chin, and said that it was too difficult for him.

"Speaking of which... Boss, what's that?" a pirate who had boarded the ship asked Drake, his gaze fixed on Orion.

“That’s a harmless creature, just leave it alone.” Drake glanced at Fou on Nianzhuo’s shoulder. “Of course, personally, I still think Fou is cuter.”

"Fou!" However, instead of rubbing against him as expected, Fou gave him a swipe of its tail.

“Um… what Fou meant was, don’t compare it to that guy.” Now it’s time for the translator, Mashu!

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry, Fou." Drake clasped his hands together in apology to Fou. "Upon closer inspection, Fou really does have more poise and beauty...!" he casually remarked, glancing at the very back of the group. After sending the last pirate back to the front, Drake shouted loudly.

"...Alright, let's set sail!" Directing the flag bearers, Drake pointed to the bronze bell to the side. "Sound the bell!"

And so, the Golden Deer, now fully repaired, returned to the vast ocean once more.

Revenge on the Queen Anne Revenge

Looking at the sea being constantly parted beneath the ship, Nian Zhuo, who knew the law that knights are insoluble in water, felt that he was now invincible.

However, the Golden Deer had been sailing on the sea for some time, and judging by their speed, they should have been caught up with or discovered by Blackbeard's pirate ship long ago.

However, nothing has happened so far.

"Wow, it feels so quiet..." Nian Zhuo sighed sincerely as he looked at the azure sea. "There are no Blackbeards, and no monsters or anything like that suddenly appearing..." His words seemed somewhat familiar, and Nian Zhuo couldn't help but rack his brains to figure out where they came from.

"Damn, this is bad..." Then, his memories returned instantly, and he remembered that man. He quickly took out the driver. "Damn it, the battle is about to begin!"

Sure enough, speak of the devil and he appears; a pirate came running hurriedly from the bow of the ship.

"Boss!" she shouted to Drake, who was gripping the helm, "We've spotted the pirate ship!" She pointed in a direction where a familiar black dot gradually grew larger in Drake's eyes.

"Hmph, all of you, perk up—!" Drake shouted, kicking the railing in front of him. "They're coming!"

"Understood!" Ritsuka waved to Drake, taking the place of the others who were resting.

However, the extremely high expectations seem to have only brought deeper disappointment.

Just as Drake's crew and Nian Zhuo were preparing for a fierce battle, Drake noticed that the pirate ship approaching from afar was somewhat strange in both size and shape...

"No way..." Drake couldn't help but have a guess in his mind, and a sense of disappointment began to surface. "No... no... what if it's that bastard's advance team...?" There was still hope until he saw it, and Drake just hoped that the worst outcome would not happen.

However, upon actually encountering the enemy, a unified cry of dejection echoed from Drake's Golden Deer.

The ship was just an ordinary wooden boat, with a very simple deck that even Drake's current crew members considered rudimentary, and a small number of poorly equipped (in Nian Zhuo's eyes) pirates... well...

It's like the original black luxury sedan has been turned into a pedicab, and they're all holding slingshots.

The difference between the two ships was too great, but these ghosts, summoned by the "Singularity" based on the concept of pirates, were completely unaware of fear and continued to make a ruckus on the ship, attempting to attack Drake's vessel.

"Uh..." Drake glanced at his underlings below, who were looking at each other blankly, and coughed awkwardly twice. "Alright, let's just say it's to show off the Golden Deer's return to sea and launch an attack on it...!" Even Drake himself realized that his words didn't have a single emotion that could inspire fighting spirit.

"Oh..." the pirates responded listlessly, then slowly walked to the cannon, skillfully loaded the shells, and lit the fuse.

However, while they were leisurely making preparations, the opposing ships had already fired many cannonballs.

However, all the bombardment hit the jet-black dragon scale armor, failing to even leave scorch marks on the metallic-looking scales.

"Alright...fire." Feeling the ship rock slightly, the gunner waved the firing flag.

"Boom—Boom—" Black smoke billowed from the cannon barrels as heavy shells slammed into the opposite ships.

The enemy had no armor made of wyvern scales; the shells pierced their surface decks and crashed into their ammunition depot.

Amidst the intense flames and explosions, the ship slowly sank before the eyes of the pirates and Nian Zhuo, whose faces were filled with disbelief...

"We've already taken them down in one shot, what's there to say?" If the pirates on that ship had any sense, they would probably say that.

But then I thought, if they had any thoughts of their own, they wouldn't have challenged Drake and his group in the first place.

So I still hope the pirates are alright (hands clasped together)

"Uh, ah... that little incident is over!" Drake kicked the railing to bring the pirates' attention back. "We're about to enter unknown territory. Even the Viking charts are useless here!" Raising the chart in his hand, Drake's bright red route stood out against a large blank background.

It doesn't represent how calm or vast it is, but rather signifies complete unknownness.

The unknown is more terrifying than the known.

Since you at least know what it is, you can come up with corresponding countermeasures.

The unknown is different; you know nothing, and everything depends on your ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

"However, challenging the unknown is part of a pirate's romance!" It's only at times like this that Drake's adventurous nature shines through. "Never mind! The problem now is Blackbeard's ship!"

The first defeat was a huge blow to Drake. She still vividly remembers the scene of the artillery fire between the two sides, where her own shells were completely unable to inflict any effective damage on the enemy.

“Even if the number of enemy Servants hasn’t changed, those four are still formidable enemies.” Mash nodded in agreement; the middle-aged man’s sharp spear skills had left a deep impression on her.

"If the two sides happen to spot each other at a distance, our ship will be destroyed by their guns." Mashu also remembered the fatal shot from the unknown female pirate on that ship when they were escaping, which went straight through the deck at the bottom of the ship.

Moreover, even if the Golden Deer's armor could withstand the enemy's attack, their firepower, which remained unchanged, would be in a very precarious situation.

“However, we have an overwhelming advantage in speed.” Drake, as if he had expected you to say that, pointed to the high-rising, black-glowing horn at the bow of the ship. “How about we just use the ram to charge at them?”

“There are almost no obstacles in this sea area…” Mash looked at the vast, boundless ocean, seriously considering the feasibility of Drake’s words. “…It’s very likely that we’ll encounter them at a long distance, just like last time. The only way to avoid this is on a stormy night (Wild Hunt)…while they haven’t spotted us yet, we spot them first, and then, coincidentally, a storm happens to arrive just in time—”

"That's wishful thinking, really." Drake shrugged helplessly, indicating that it was absolutely impossible.

"The weather is totally on our side, that's just impossible..."

...Nian Zhuo suddenly felt that this round was in the bag.

The first smoke signals of battle

Well, we can't rely too much on luck and other factors in battle; the right way is to seriously think about how to deal with them.

“…How about we shoot arrows together to disrupt the enemy’s formation before they discover us?” Euryale pointed to Artemis beside her.

“This could indeed cause chaos, but the enemy also has Servants.” The image of the blonde woman who wielded a spear and shattered the bottom of their own ship before fleeing was still in Mash’s memory. “…Especially that woman with the smoothbore lance, she’s even more troublesome. If she retaliates, we won’t be able to cause enough chaos.”

"Then how about we send someone to infiltrate their ship and cause a ruckus before ramming it?" Artemis raised her hand, not wanting to be outdone.

"Are you an idiot?" Orion angrily tapped Artemis on the head with the wooden stick in his hand. "How are we supposed to sneak in before the ship leaves... ah." Suddenly, Orion had a flash of inspiration.

"...What's wrong?" Seeing the teddy bear lost in strange thoughts as always, Mashu leaned forward and asked curiously.

“Hehe.” Artemis, one of the people involved, touched her cheek shyly. “Although I am a goddess, I was basically summoned as Orion. So, Orion’s power resides within me.” As she spoke, Artemis patted her rather 'impressive' chest.

“…I’m starting to believe it.” Nian Zhuo looked away with difficulty.

"...Ah! I remember now!" Marie, recalling Orion's history, suddenly clapped her hands in delight. "Orion should be able to walk on water!"

"So, you're the son of the sea god (Poseidon), aren't you?" Looking at Orion's small body, Euryale scrutinized him for the first time. "So that's how you walk on water... Huh? Is that all you've got?" Then, realizing what she meant, she gave him a disdainful look.

"Um...you think..." As if pierced by a thousand arrows, Orion clutched the spot that should have been his chest and said with tears in his eyes, "You think I don't want a cooler ability? What's so great about being able to walk on water...a leech! Am I a leech? With sweaty feet?" Thus, Orion became more and more withdrawn in a vicious cycle of self-deprecation.

"Orion's distress is so endearing..." Artemis, on the other hand, didn't choose to comfort him, but instead went into overdrive, "I want to hold him tight... so tightly...!"

"Mash! Comfort me with your chest!" Then, Orion the teddy bear seemed to fall into some kind of frenzy and suddenly flew towards Mash.

"I refuse." Then, the girl's cold words pinned him firmly in mid-air.

"Awooo." Finally, Orion, utterly defeated, fell listlessly to the ground.
