“Madam Chen? No, she can’t even reveal her real name, or she’ll be in danger.”

“If she were to show her face in public, Wei Yanwu would not only immediately know his purpose, but would also become hostile towards her.”

"For the time being, it seems there really isn't a suitable person to work with."

"Perhaps we'll find another opportunity later."

After a rational analysis, Skadi pulled herself out of the "Babel evil spirit" mindset.

She reached out and wiped the hot water off her face, then opened her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror.

"Don't stretch your reach too far. We haven't even solved Kazdel yet, and you're already trying to solve the Lungmen problem."

"This is just asking for trouble."

Skadi regained her composure, smiled, and then turned off the shower.

"Hmm, this one is quite big."

The bathtub in this room is quite large; although it can't compare to Kal'tsit's, it's about half again as big.

This made her even more dissatisfied with her bathtub, and she was determined to replace it when she got back.

Soaking yourself completely in the water, the feeling of returning to the gentlest embrace spreads throughout your body.

It was definitely more comfortable in the water, which made her miss the deep sea again.

While she was lost in thought, she didn't know how much time had passed when there was a knock on the bathroom door.

A soft, stealthy footstep sound came from afar and finally stopped in front of the bathtub.

A hand reached into the bathtub, grabbed Skadi's hand, and pulled her out of the water.

"Is it time to sleep, or would you like to sleep in the water?"

Kal'tsit tossed her a towel, looked at Skadi, and asked her irritably.

"Huh? Isn't there only one bed? Besides, I feel most comfortable sleeping in the water, much better than sleeping in the bed."

Skadi was surprised. She checked the time, then looked at Kal'tsit, puzzled by the other's action of pulling her out of the water.

"Go back to sleep."

Kal'tsit pushed her back, refusing to let her sleep in the water.

"Alright alright.

Skadi was woken up and felt somewhat helpless.

But she had no temper with Kal'tsit, so she could only let Kal'tsit push her forward.

Do you really like water that much?

She was made to stand on the carpet, and Kal'tsit personally wiped her long hair and the water droplets off her body.

I don't know how to comment on her obsession with taking baths.

“I am an Agor, a deep-sea hunter, and I should be living in the water.”

"It's just that now that we've reached the shore, we're the same as you."

"If I could, I would definitely want to live in the water forever."

Kal'tsit's question was too strange. As a member of a sea-dwelling race, if she didn't live in the water, was she supposed to live under the sun forever?

"This is fresh water—and you'd better dry your hair before you go to sleep, or I'll get all wet."

Rolling her eyes, Kal'tsit made a comment and told Skadi to fix her own hair.

Even so, Kal'tsit's act of pulling Skadi out of the water had indeed soaked her nightgown.

"Hmm? Fresh water is fine too, although it's not as comfortable as seawater."

With the Skadi energy activated, the hair became dry and smooth.

She then changed into a nightgown and turned to look at Kal'tsit.

Seeing her somewhat disheveled appearance, Skadi took her hand, helped her dry the water stains on her nightgown, and then sat down on the edge of the bed.

Are we going to sleep together?

The topic suddenly shifted to something strange: Skadi hesitated about whether or not to sleep with Kal'tsit.

"Did you have fun going out with other people, so you don't want to sleep together?"

"We're colleagues. Since we're on a business trip and there's only one room, wouldn't it be natural for us to sleep together?"

"Besides, we're both women. If I'm not afraid, what are you afraid of?"

Kal'tsit glanced at her in surprise, then lowered her head as she spoke.

Skadi sat on the edge of the bed, not looking at Kal'tsit, completely unaware that her face was already flushed.

She simply looked up at the scene outside the window, her tone slightly ethereal.

"It's not that I'm worried about that, I'm afraid people will say things."

"Dr. Kal'tsit, reputation is quite important, isn't it?"

Upon hearing this, Kal'tsit frowned and looked up at her.

"I don't mind at all, why are you thinking so much?"

"You're going to see Rhine Life tomorrow, so get some rest."

Don't overthink it.

After Kal'tsit finished speaking, she closed the laptop, bent down, walked past Skadi, and placed the laptop on the bedside table.

She lay on her side on the bed and fell asleep.

"Ok."

That's right, Kal'tsit doesn't care, so why is she dragging her feet?

Thinking of this, Skadi also threw off the covers and crawled inside.

They slept back-to-back, neither of them speaking, until dawn.

PS: Update 3/6

Chapter 35: Prince Kal'tsit and Princess Skadi embrace each other.

"Hmm..."

Sunlight streamed in through the window, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Skadi, upon waking, tried to raise her hand to rub her eyes, only to find that someone was holding her hand.

Looking down, she saw that Kal'tsit had fallen asleep next to her at some point, her limbs wrapped around her body.

“...Kal'tsit...Doctor Kal'tsit...Little Kal'tsit..."

Seeing this, she became somewhat nervous.

Skadi leaned close to Kal'tsit's ear and called out softly a few times.

"Hmm..." Kal'tsit, who was awakened by Skadi, was not able to react for a moment and didn't know what was going on.

It wasn't until she opened her eyes and saw the scene before her that she realized what she had done.

Her face flushed red, and she immediately released her hands and feet, then sat up straight.

She stretched as if nothing had happened.

"It's 8:30. You've only slept for five hours?"

Kal'tsit checked the time; she had pulled Skadi out of the bathtub at 3:30 last night.

It's only 8:30 now, so I haven't had enough sleep.

"I slept for a long time on the aircraft yesterday, so I'll just consider it as sleeping in two separate sessions."

Skadi was combing her hair, and as she spoke, she took out a headband to separate and tie her hair.

"Let me do it." Kal'tsit took the headband from her hand and carefully combed Skadi's hair.

Thick, long white hair lay scattered on the bed, looking quite beautiful in the sunlight.

Skadi was like a princess from a legend, but what about me?

"Your hair is too long, aren't you going to fix it?"

While combing her hair, Kal'tsit was a little curious.

"I'm used to it, and this kind of hair is nice."

"I am very confident in my hair."

"Dr. Kal'tsit, you think it's great too, right?"

Skadi, of course, wouldn't cut her hair; having hair or not wouldn't affect her fighting ability.

This is one of the "gifts" Skadi left for herself, and she will never give it up.

"That's amazing. With your hair volume and length, you'd be the number one hair model in all of Terra."

"But that would be a huge waste of talent."

Kal'tsit was quite generous with her praise for this.

"Hehe." Skadi laughed when she heard this.

She was very happy when someone praised what she was proud of.

"Kal'tsit, this is the first time we've had such a simple conversation."

"Let's not talk about this world, let's not talk about the future, let's not talk about the Tower of Babel, Rhodes Island, Your Highness."

"Just chatting about everyday things..."

"It feels... amazing."
