Skadi, returning to infinity

“Kal'tsit.” Theresa looked back at Kal'tsit with gentle eyes.
"He is trustworthy."
“I believe you, Theresa, but I don’t believe him.”
He walked over, placed the file next to Skadi, and reached out to take her hand.
"This hand, even though it's covered by thick clothes, doesn't look like a man's."
Kal'tsit is a doctor and is very familiar with the human body.
Moreover, the doctor's height was too obvious when he was sitting there; even with shoes on, he was less than 1.7 meters tall.
Male frames are generally larger than female frames, and she was immediately puzzled after grabbing Skadi's wrist.
"So we need to check his real identity."
"His sneaking in like this makes it hard not to suspect his motives."
"If he's someone from the false king's side in disguise, deceiving Lady Theresa, wouldn't that be very dangerous?"
The other members chimed in, and it was hard not to suspect the Doctor's disguise.
"Kal'tsit~" Theresa called again, but Kal'tsit, who would usually obey her, did not do so this time.
She still held Skadi's hand, leaning forward to pull down her hat.
"Dr. Kal'tsit, please show some respect for others."
Skadi then resisted, raising her free left hand to stop Kal'tsit's right hand from lifting her hood.
"If you want others to respect you, you must first respect others."
"Showing your true colors is the greatest respect you can show to everyone."
"I don't trust you, and I won't trust someone whose face I've never seen before."
"Furthermore, I'm not sure if you're a patient with Oripathy, or what your purpose is in getting in here."
Kal'tsit's caution and strictness are normal; Skadi's attire is far too suspicious, both in terms of her identity and her purpose.
The first hurdle to overcome when joining the Tower of Babel organization is to ensure that everyone accepts her as a new member and doesn't doubt her.
She originally thought that the other members she didn't know or recognize would be the most difficult trouble to deal with, but she didn't expect that Kal'tsit would be the first one to outmaneuver her.
Seeing how serious she was, I knew that if I didn't do as she said, I basically wouldn't be able to get rid of her entanglement.
Even if they manage to get away with it now, it will only create a rift between themselves and other members of the Tower of Babel, which will be detrimental to their future actions.
Therefore, she must temporarily dispel Kal'tsit's suspicions and let the other members see her sincerity.
Do you have a syringe with you?
Skadi placed her hand on the table and slowly pulled up her sleeve, revealing her thin, slightly pale skin.
Before making this decision, she had already corrected her skin tone and roughness, and her physical composition quickly became that of an ordinary person.
It looks like that.
These changes occurred in just a few dozen seconds, from the moment Kal'tsit grabbed her wrist to the moment she asked if the other person had a syringe.
It's fortunate that the doctor's clothes covered her up, so her changes were completely undetectable, otherwise it would have been a real problem.
But isn't it all because of this outfit?
So who exactly designed this outfit?
The doctor had no memory of this person, only of when he received the clothes.
If she manages to find it later, she won't be happy unless she hangs it on the bridge of Rhodes Island for a few days.
Her action drew everyone's attention, and they glanced at her arm.
After seeing the color of his skin, they had no doubt that the doctor was "male".
“Yes.” Kal’tsit took out an unused syringe from beside her clothes; it was something she always carried with her.
"Draw it." She flipped her arm over, exposing the inside of her wrist, and waited quietly for Kal'tsit's move.
He glanced at her, then at Theresa, who hadn't stopped him.
After preparing for a while, Kal'tsit directly drew half a tube of blood.
The whole process was anything but gentle; if Skadi hadn't been physically strong, she probably would have been in excruciating pain.
This shows just how much Kal'tsit distrusts her, and even wishes she would die here.
But there was no other way; in order to conceal her identity, Skadi had to ensure this.
Although she could actually become a doctor, that would be detrimental to her future plans.
Moreover, she didn't want to become a completely different person.
Just as she is Skadi of the Turbid Heart, not Skadi, nor Chu Feng.
"This is my blood. You can use it for sample testing, Dr. Kal'tsit."
Skadi rolled up her sleeves and looked at Kal'tsit, speaking softly.
She took out a box and carefully placed the syringe containing the drawn blood inside, then Kal'tsit continued to watch her.
While Skadi was unsure of what she was about to do, Kal'tsit suddenly reached out and, taking advantage of Skadi's inattention, tried to pull down her hat...
PS: The story begins a few years before Theresa's death. This part of the story involves the Tower of Babel, the Doctor, Theresa, and Kay.
Much of Erxi's storyline is glossed over in a subtle and understated manner.
Since Skadi became the Doctor, rather than the Doctor from the original story, much of the subsequent plot can be considered original.
If YJ comes up with a specific storyline later, I'll accept being proven wrong.
PS2: Please give me some recommendation votes and monthly tickets. I would be even happier with some razor blades and tips. Thank you everyone.
PS3: The first-day subscription ratio has exceeded 10:1, I should be happy. The current goal is to reach 500, I'm still 100 short, boohoo.

Chapter 5: I won't believe you!
"Hmm? I'm starting to doubt whether you're even human."
The hat was taken off, but it didn't reveal Skadi's current face; instead, it revealed a fox head mask.
"Don't be so strange." He put his hat back on, covering his face once again.
Skadi looked at Kal'tsit, whose hands were trembling, and her voice was somewhat excited.
"How can this not be strange to people..."
Kal'tsit's hand clenched in the air for a moment, then lowered it.
"Don't let me catch you red-handed."
Kal'tsit bit her lower lip; this person was truly infuriating.
"Alright, Kal'tsit."
Theresa walked over, pulled Kal'tsit away, and gently comforted her.
"Don't think too much about it, there are still many things to do."
Theresa planned to distract Kal'tsit for a while, and by the time she returned after finishing those tasks, the Doctor should have calmed down.
"Theresia, I think you need to be wary of him."
"You can't be alone with him until I trust him."
"You guys need to pay attention to this too, keep an eye on this guy."
"Otherwise, if anything happens to Theresa, none of you will escape."
Kal'tsit couldn't change Theresa's decision, but she could get others to be wary of Skadi.
"I am a good person."
Skadi sighed softly. She didn't want things to turn out this way, but there was nothing she could do.
"In my eyes, you are not yet qualified to be called a human being."
She gave a cold reply, then Kal'tsit left with the box containing Skadi's blood sample.
She wanted to test this person to see what was really going on.
"Princess Theresa, for the Tower of Babel, for Kazdel. Even if you trust him completely, please..."
Don't have any opportunity to be alone with him.
"Otherwise, we are unsure what coercive measures we might take against His Highness in order to protect him."
"Okay, okay, I promise you."
Theresa wasn't angry. She seemed to know that Skadi wouldn't object either, so she agreed on her behalf.
"Alright, I won't be alone with His Highness until you trust me. Is that alright?"
Skadi breathed a slight sigh of relief; at least for now, she was only able to enter the Tower of Babel.
This process was much more difficult than she had imagined, probably because she was unwilling to expose herself.
In the past, PhD students only needed to provide accurate information and go through a period of observation, and everything would naturally be fine.
Now, since I caused this myself, I have no choice but to deal with it.
Although some issues concerning Skadi had been resolved, her arrival disrupted the meeting, forcing it to end abruptly.
Watching the others leave, Theresa, accompanied by her maids and guards, led Skadi to a large hall.
She personally brewed Skadi a cup of hot tea, then sat there, holding the teacup, her eyes lowered, her gaze slightly directed to the lower left.
"Doctor, do you remember the first time we met?"
Theresa, sitting in her chair, suddenly asked the question.
"I still remember the scene when I first met Your Highness."
