Detective Conan: The Ultimate Growth Space

At the hotel near the train station, Zhiyong booked a suite.

After registering at the front desk, the three of them received the keys.

Because the three of them got off the bus relatively early.

As they entered the hotel.

There weren't many passengers getting off the bus and arriving at the hotel yet.

Therefore, the hotel lobby did not appear lively.

"I never expected to find such a luxurious hotel here."

As they went upstairs, Haibara Miya exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes, but judging from the architecture of this inn, it's quite old. It must have been built when the local jadeite was still plentiful."

Zhiyong and his friends' room was on the second floor.

It was only when we got to the second floor that...

Suddenly, Zhiyong received a notification from the space that a new ghost had appeared.

After collecting the item, Zhiyong discovered that the ghost was none other than Yamagami Fumio, the leader of the Fantasy Magic Troupe.

Originally, while on the train...

Zhiyong saw the head of the mountain god Shi Xiong.

However, they did not collect the ghost.

At that time, Zhiyong thought that the Mountain God Commander had been dead for too long and his ghost had dissipated.

That's why they didn't manage to collect the ghost.

But it seems that's not the case now.

Zhiyong looked towards the location where ghosts were collected not far away.

At the door of room 219, there are two large bags, from which the ghost collects its loot.

Zhi Yong didn't make a fuss and directly activated the map function.

Inside the bag was a headless corpse.

Since what they're collecting is the ghost of the mountain god's leader.

That corpse must undoubtedly belong to the Mountain God Commander.

The map function was expanded, allowing direct access to the room.

There was no one in the room.

The leader of the Mountain God Regiment was killed on the train.

This has already been confirmed by Haibara Mi.

During lunchtime.

The Fantasy Magic Troupe also performed magic tricks.

At the beginning, the leader of the Mountain God Troupe even brought members of the Fantasy Magic Troupe to perform magic tricks in the dining car.

Although the leader of the Mountain God Troupe only appeared before the performance began, no one saw him again afterward, not even his wife.

But what appeared and disappeared in the train compartment was clearly just the head of the Mountain God Commander.

When getting off the bus.

Police also searched the luggage.

If that's the case, how did the body end up in this inn?

at this time.

Zhiyong then noticed the delivery slip on the bag.

Seeing these two revelations made Zhiyong suddenly realize the truth.

Zhiyong also remembered that when he got off the bus, he saw Takato Yoichi of the Fantasy Magic Troupe carrying the same two bags.

Oh, I see.

Previously, Zhiyong thought...

The Hell Puppet Master uses fake bombs only to give a hint so that he can successfully perform the corpse-disappearing magic later.

It seems that's not the case now.

The train stopped at the freight station.

When the train stops.

There was a freight train at the freight station at that time.

When Zhiyong and his companions arrived at the Corpse Plain.

The freight train had already arrived at the Bone Plains.

Now it seems so.

The Hell Puppet Master used two identical bags, which he first sent out from Tokyo Station.

Then, the timing was calculated, and a fake bomb was used.

While allowing passengers on the train to evacuate.

On the freight train, they found the two bags he had sent out and swapped them with the bag he was carrying with him.

Thus, the freight train carried the bodies to the ossuary, and the courier delivered the bags containing the bodies to the hotel.

It's truly a series of interconnected events.

"what happened to you?"

As Zhiyong pondered the problem, his pace slowed down.

When Haibara noticed that Tomoyuki had slowed down, she asked him a question.

"It's nothing, I'm just feeling a little hungry. Let's go eat after we settle into our room."

Zhi Yong paused his thinking for the moment, no longer dwelling on the case, and gave an excuse in response.

“Okay, you didn’t eat much at noon either, no wonder you’re hungry now,” Haibara Mi replied.

at this time.

Zhiyong saw the lobby downstairs.

The members of the Fantasy Magic Troupe, including Kindaichi and the others, all went into the inn.

As more and more people arrived at the hotel.

The hotel started to get noisy.

This also brought life to this remote inn.

Zhiyong is thinking about this now.

Could it be that Suzuko Chikamiya is related to the owner of this inn, or that she is the owner of this inn?

Otherwise, why would they travel all this way to perform here?

Today, the Fantasy Magic Troupe performs here every year.

This also brought a lot of popularity to the hotel.

……

Chapter 225 The Corpse Reappears

Upon arriving at the room's door, we entered the room.

Zhiyong booked a deluxe suite.

Therefore, the room's layout is quite nice.

There was a stone on the table in the living room.

This is a raw jade stone.

I just heard it from the hotel manager.

Jadeite rough stones were once a specialty of the Corpse Bone Plain.

Although the jadeite rough stones on Bone Plain have now been completely mined out.

However, some poor-quality jadeite rough stones were still left behind, and the hotel placed one in each guest room as decoration.

Unfortunately, Zhiyong had already tried it when he entered the inn, but he did not find any special substance that could be absorbed by the space.

This kind of thing is perfectly normal.

Zhiyong has been through this many times.

Therefore, he did not feel disappointed.

Tonight is the performance time for the Fantasy Magic Troupe.

After the magic show ended.

Zhiyong and the others were then free of trouble.

If Zhiyong and his group want to leave Shikotani, they will have to take the train that will arrive in Tokyo two days later.

These past two days have been free.

This is a good opportunity for Zhiyong to wander around here.

If wisdom and courage are just a matter of good luck.

Perhaps we can find mutated jadeite like the rubies or black pearls we found before.

That could become a special substance used to enhance space.
