Author's Closing Remarks~

This is the first time I've written an author's note after finishing a book, and also the first time I've properly finished a book.

Well, it's kind of bittersweet, since it's over, and there's always a sense of emptiness in my heart.

First of all--

Are you all satisfied with the conclusion of this book?

Haha, even if you're not satisfied, there's nothing you can do about it, right?

Since there's nothing more to write, I'll stop here.

Actually, I initially estimated that this book would be at least 700,000 to 800,000 words long.

But plans can't keep up with changes, and I revised the outline halfway through, which resulted in shortening a lot of content.

For example, they reconciled after the truth was revealed.

In my original plan, we would reconcile at least after the summer vacation, which would be at the beginning of the second semester.

Before this, their relationship would remain stagnant, causing them to hurt each other.

Kurose Izumi resisted Shiraishi Chiren and hurt her.

Chire Shiraishi continued to beg for forgiveness and try to please Izumi Kurose, but her very existence was a source of harm to Izumi.

During the summer vacation, they had several arguments, and Hirasawa Masato acted as a peacemaker, organizing a group camp.

However, the training camp in this storyline feels very depressing and not so joyful or happy.

After the summer vacation ended and the new semester began, Shiraishi Chiren still begged for forgiveness and revealed her feelings, saying that she had been deeply in love with Kurose Izumi without his knowledge.

For details of this plot, please refer to chapters 124 and 125.

However, what followed was not a slowdown, but a complete collapse.

Kurose Izumi completely lost his temper and angrily told Shiraishi Chiren to disappear from his sight, not wanting to see her or hear her speak again.

Shiraishi Chiren did as instructed.

She disappeared.

She went to find Shiraishi's mother and went abroad with her.

Kurose Izumi didn't feel anything for the first day or two when he couldn't see Shiraishi Chire, but gradually, he couldn't sit still anymore.

When she returned home, all she saw were memories of living with Shiraishi Chirei.

He began to miss Shiraishi Chiren and could not suppress this longing.

Finally, with the help of Hirasawa Masato, Kurose Izumi learned the city where Shiraishi Chire was located and resolutely went abroad to find her.

After a bumpy journey, when he finally arrived at Shiraishi Chire's house, he was confronted not only by Shiraishi's mother, but also by her father.

In this part of the story, Shiraishi's father has not yet rebuilt his family.

At this time, Shiraishi's father still wanted to remarry Shiraishi's mother, rebuild their broken family, and have Shiraishi Chire settle abroad.

Reluctantly, Izumi Kurose tries to take Chire Shiraishi away, but is opposed by her parents.

Shiraishi Chiren's attitude was ambiguous; she didn't immediately choose to go back with Kurose Izumi.

It wasn't until Kurose Izumi confessed her feelings, saying that she had thought a lot about it recently and had figured it out, that Shiraishi Chiren agreed to go back, no matter what.

But Shiraishi's father disagreed.

Then, Izumi Kurose said that there was no need to rebuild a broken family.

Since Shiraishi's father and mother didn't give Shiraishi Chirei a happy and warm family before, then it's up to Kurose Izumi to give it to her.

He will build a family with Shiraishi Chiren and live a happy life.

Ultimately, Shiraishi Chiren refused to stay and returned to Japan with Kurose Izumi.

(This feels like a melodramatic soap opera, haha.)

And here, there are still many things to solve and many things to write about.

For example, write in detail about the animation research department's plans, how to forcibly bring back the influence of Shiraishi Chirei from Shiraishi's parents, how Kurose Izumi should make Shiraishi Chirei happy, and how to take Shiraishi Chirei home to meet her parents during the New Year.

In my estimation, the proposal won't end at Christmas; it will likely take until high school graduation.

Well, it's also my fault for changing the outline.

Back then, when I read the comments, everyone said they didn't want the abuse and repression to continue.

Affected by the situation and thinking about the outcome of the previous book, I listened to the readers' opinions and quickly made up.

Actually, there's a missing part of the story: at the end of May, just before the rainy season, Kurose Izumi caught a cold from being caught in the rain, and Shiraishi Chirei took care of her, which is how they reconciled.

Then came the first time.

Well, that's all I have to say about the plot.

Actually, I can accept either writing style, because the core of this book is that flawed and incomplete people complement each other after meeting, and thus find redemption and happiness.

As long as the final outcome is happiness, that's all that matters, right?

Of course, it's also possible to fall ill suddenly, like Nagisa Furukawa in CL, and die in childbirth.

But if I did that, I'd definitely be killed by angry readers!

Haha, just kidding. I'm not a twisted person, I would never write something like that. I just thought about it out of a bad sense of humor!

Ugh.

Suddenly I feel a little reluctant and sad.

After it's finished, we'll never hear the voices of Shiraishi (now Kurose, right?), Chirei, Kurose Izumi, Hirasawa Mabu, Inari Yuki, Tsuda Yoshi, Komi Megumi... again.

We can no longer feel their joys and sorrows.

Our time keeps moving forward, but their time is frozen at the moment I typed the last period.

But what can we do about it?

All good things must come to an end, and every book must eventually come to a conclusion.

...This closing statement seems a bit heavy.

All the main characters in this book achieve their respective happiness, resulting in a perfect happy ending, so there's no sadness involved.

Regarding the extra chapter—I'll write it in the next couple of days and post it in the full subscription group.

Then, I will also add a few short side stories that can pass the review and post them here, such as the future of the Inari Yuki and Komi Megumi pairing, and the development of Hirasawa Mabu and Tsuda Yoshi.

Regarding the new book, the theme has been decided: urban fantasy. There won't be many romance elements, but there will be some.

It's probably a story about the conflict between humans and demons, somewhat similar to Tokyo Ghoul.

As the melodious and resonant bells rang out, the priest, dressed in formal attire, stood on the altar and announced with a smile, "The wedding ceremony begins. Please invite the newlyweds inside!"

Bright, warm sunlight streamed in from the front of the hall, and a couple walked slowly down the pure white marble path, hand in hand.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, they walked resolutely and solemnly toward the altar and came to the priest's side.

The warm, clear sunlight shone on their happy smiles, and everyone couldn't help but smile as well.

At this moment, the melodious sounds of harp and organ filled the church, the light and cheerful music flowing into everyone's hearts.

The church, with its wooden tones, is not luxurious, but it is sacred and transparent, allowing love to gather here.

As soon as the priest finished speaking, everyone began to applaud and cheer, offering their blessings.
