Marvel's Death Merchant

With bodies several meters long, these reptiles are entirely muscular and crimson. They have no eyes, seemingly relying on heat sensing and smell to locate other creatures. Their tongues can extend over a meter in length, and their two enormous forepaws have evolved to an extreme degree, becoming a pair of indescribably massive claws, as hard as steel, perhaps even stronger!
Zheng Zha looked at the two crawlers, then at the pistol in his hand. He couldn't believe that he could kill such terrifying creatures with just a pistol. Let alone kill them, he would be lucky to even be able to hurt them.
The two crawlers glanced toward the passage, then one of them lunged forward, followed closely by the other. With a loud bang, everyone felt the steel gate in front of them shake violently. This was their last line of defense against the crawlers. In a single leap, the crawler had already pounced onto the steel gate.
"The Flame Queen!"
Zheng Zha and Zhang Jie roared at the same time. Almost simultaneously, a flash of light appeared somewhere in the passage, and a thin laser line quickly formed and rushed towards the two crawlers. Just as the two crawlers were about to pounce on the steel gate again, the laser line had already passed them. With two soft sounds, the laser line disappeared without a trace, and the two crawlers fell completely still. Slowly, their huge bodies split in the middle, and finally, their upper and lower bodies broke into two pieces.
"Phew!" Almost everyone breathed a sigh of relief; it had been far too dangerous for the others.
Zhang Jie slumped to the ground, pulled out a few cigarettes, tossed one to Zheng Zha, and then another to Li Xiaoyi, making the young man feel flattered. He lit a cigarette, took a deep breath, and said, "Now you know what shock and terror are, right? I've experienced that situation countless times, like three horror movies! I don't even know how I managed to get through it... Damn it! What kind of mess is this?! This is no place for a human being!"
Zheng Zha and Zhan Lan exchanged a wry smile. In the instant the crawler jumped over, their reaction was even worse than Zhang Jie's. Besides being drenched in sweat, their bodies were shaking so badly they could barely stand. Fortunately, the laser defense system saved their lives; otherwise, they would have certainly had no chance to escape.
Tang Xing simply smiled faintly, not interrupting. To him, the lives of the natives were insignificant; as long as his own interests were protected, that was enough. Now wasn't actually the safest time, because the last of the crawlers would come to launch a counterattack, but they would return soon, so there was no need to worry about it.
Sure enough, a sharp protrusion suddenly appeared on the steel gate. The three men felt as if their hearts were about to jump out of their chests. They ran backwards, and everyone, including Zhang Jie, pressed themselves tightly against the corner of the wall. They could only watch helplessly as the steel gate appeared.
The loud noises continued, and the sharp protrusions on the steel gate increased. Finally, the sharp part of the claw pierced into the gate. It tore through the more than ten-centimeter-thick steel plate as if it were cutting butter, and the terrifying face of the crawler appeared behind the steel gate.
"what!"
Zheng Zha and Zhang Jie roared at the same time, and their guns were fired wildly at the crawler. Just as everyone was about to smell the stench of the crawler as it was killed, the return of the main god was transmitted. Tang Xing only saw a white light envelop him, and then a powerful suction transported him to another place.
Tang Xing sensed the power of various laws within the pillar of light from the main god, but he did not resist. He was smoothly taken away, though he felt dizzy, as although it was a low-dimensional main god, its power was not weak. Finally, as Tang Xing left, a burst of white light suddenly appeared, followed by a mushroom cloud that destroyed the area. (To be continued...)
Chapter 108 Main God Space
"So this is indeed the God Realm." Tang Xing thought silently as he stood on a vast, empty platform. At the very center of the platform was an enormous sphere of light, which illuminated the entire platform like a sun. All around the platform was boundless darkness, a profound darkness devoid of even a ray of light. This was the God Realm, the most important destination of the mission.
Just then, Zhang Jie's voice suddenly rang out: "We survived! Damn, that was close! We finally survived!" Tang Xing simply nodded, watching with interest the heartwarming scene between Zhang Jie and his favorite person.
A girl rushed out of a room at the edge of the platform, crying as she ran towards Zhang Jie. For the first time, this grown man showed a tender expression, as if he were showing affection for a woman. He ran towards the girl and then, in front of everyone, hugged her tightly and kissed her passionately.
"...If there are any rules you don't understand, just ask the 'Main God,' you can communicate directly through consciousness..."
"Besides creating a woman for yourself, don't exchange for anything else! We'll talk about everything tomorrow! Oh, and just pick any room you want, whatever you want, just think about it..."
Zhang Jie carried the woman and rushed into the room without looking back. He had only managed to say two words before the two of them disappeared inside the room, leaving Zheng Zha and the other three staring at each other for a long time before they suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"That guy is amazing, he can run so fast, and he even has this kind of interest..."
As Zhan Lan lay weakly on the ground, she said, "I was terrified at the time, and my limbs are still weak. I never expected that guy to act like nothing happened..."
She talked for a long time but no one paid any attention to her. Then she saw the two men who had returned with her making something. Of course, the cold-faced man had already left and gone into a house.
"Hmph. You two idiots, all men are idiots. You barely survived, and after such a scare, you're already thinking about things as soon as you get back. Hey... and you... Ice Cube... would it kill you to say one more word to us?" Zhan Lan berated the men who ignored her, while Tang Xing, who was already there, simply shook his head and ignored them.
"This harvest is really good. 46000 reward points, 3 S-level side quests. It seems I'll need to accumulate more before I can exchange them for a large amount of technology." In Tang Xing's room within the Main God Space, he instantly transformed it into the Tang Tian No. 2 colony, and the Steel Empire appeared out of thin air. Then, after setting up numerous production lines for Terminators and bioweapons, Tang Xing fell asleep. After all, he was still human and couldn't be a perpetual motion machine.
The next morning, Tang Xing went back to sleep, not particularly concerned about what was happening outside. To him, Infinite Terror was just a special dimension. The main thing was that with a little attention, he could plunder a lot of things and then leave.
Just as Tang Xing was getting ready to use his weapons, he suddenly heard a knock on the door. Tang Xing knew that this must be Zhang Jie calling everyone to start the group exchange, so he didn't do anything and instead had Terminator open the door.
Upon opening the door, Zhan Lan was quite surprised to see the T-800. She then said to him, "This is a robot. You actually like this. By the way, let's go. It's just you and Zheng Zha left. Zhang Jie is calling Zheng Zha."
"Hmm," Tang Xing replied casually, then followed her onto the platform. Just as he was about to speak, he heard Zheng Zha's loud voice roaring at the main god's orb.
"Tell me, God, wasn't she a life form you created? Why does she possess her memories? Why is she exactly like her? Why doesn't she know anything about this place? Tell me, God, what is going on?"
As Zheng Zha closed his eyes and began to inquire about Loli from the main god, Qi Huan saw that Zheng Zha's spirits lifted several times over after learning about Loli's situation. If he was just a listless, decadent man before, he could now be considered a vibrant and passionate young man.
Tang Xing knew that his clone had appeared when he saw Loli. This woman had inspired him, but also destroyed the entire team. However, Tang Xing didn't say anything, because some things can only be changed through personal experience; what others said would only backfire.
Zheng Zha's face was now filled with determination. Tang Xing understood that Luo Li's situation must have been a huge blow to him, so after regaining her, he finally adjusted his mindset. His fighting spirit to live no matter what had happened had been reignited by Luo Li's return.
However, when Zhang Jie and the others looked at him with confusion, Zheng Zha smiled apologetically at them, then led them into the house. According to Zhang Jie, they could only enter if Zheng Zha wished to; otherwise, they wouldn't be allowed into Zheng Zha's house. Perhaps this was a benefit bestowed upon these reincarnated beings by the main god.
After everyone entered the hall, Zheng Zha thought for a moment and said, "Everyone, please sit down for a while. I... will be right back." After saying that, he went straight into his bedroom and closed the bedroom door tightly.
At this moment in the hall, Zhang Jie and the other two all had stern faces, and Tang Xing himself remained expressionless. Zheng Zha clearly saw their lips twitching incessantly, and he scratched his head and said, "Just laugh if you want to, don't hold it in so badly, like you've been punched in the face."
Zhang Jie and Li Xiaoyi burst into laughter, while Zhan Lan's laughter remained somewhat restrained. Tang Xing, however, kept a cold expression and said nothing. He was simply not good at talking about things because this was unimportant.
At this moment, Zhang Jie said with a laugh, "It's so strange that you would like a girl with this kind of personality. She seems to be quite feisty."
Zheng Zha sat on the sofa and told Loli's story with a wry smile. After recounting it, he said with a wry smile, "I didn't expect this situation. I just wanted to create a woman who looked and had a similar personality to her. Who knew that I would actually copy her?"
Tang Xing listened quietly from the side without saying anything. He was always thinking about how to gain more benefits, and that had never changed.
At this moment, Zheng Zha, now energized, took a deep breath and, preparing to take over leadership, continued, "I don't care whether this is the realm of gods or the game of demons; I just want to survive, earn enough reward points, and bring her back to the real world. I think none of you want to die in a horror movie, right? So I think the five of us should team up, because none of us know what the next horror movie will be, and one person's strength is ultimately limited. We should form a team from now on, helping each other through difficulties. Does anyone have any opinions?"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Jie and the other two fell into deep thought. Tang Xing knew that Zheng Zha wanted the power of the team, and he also approved of Zheng Zha's saintly captain persona. After all, having an unlucky guy who could withstand the pressure from the main god was a good choice. He himself could sell weapons and serve as the vice-captain; the key was to make money peacefully and maximize profits. (To be continued...)
Chapter 109 The Mutant Squad
In the future, after Wolverine reverses the Marvel universe, the president first halts the development of the Sentinel robots. This is because the Sentinel robots, in the eyes of the world, openly shoot ordinary people. Although William Stryker insisted on retaining a portion of the Sentinels, the project ultimately failed. In a parallel universe of Wolverine's future, Tang Tian destroys all Sentinel bases and eliminates all humans, leaving the remaining mutants and some humans to govern the world. Of course, when he leaves, he takes back the human technology and any mutant genes he can collect from that world.
After Wolverine's future consciousness returned, he indeed reverted to his unruly self. For over a decade, he and Victor teamed up again to fight in South Korea. Mutants were becoming increasingly understood by the American public, though the majority still disliked them. The genes Tang Tian brought back were intended to create an even more dangerous Tyrant. The Death Tyrant, created from the Silver Warrior and Black King genes, was one type; the new Tyrant was planned to be based on the genes of Iceman and Fireman, perfectly fusing them together. The Fireman from the future world also possessed formidable abilities, at least capable of direct activation like Iceman.
Sure enough, when Victor attacked the village, he angrily killed the American officer and was then sent to the execution ground in the military camp.
"Ready, aim..." the executioner shouted the order for the execution.
"Okay, next time you'd better control yourself. We won't die, but it still hurts a lot to get hit by bullets," Wolverine said silently to Victor beside him, closing his eyes.
“We’re not ordinary people, Jimmy. Wake me up when you’re done.” Victor smiled nonchalantly. Ever since Victor discovered that he and his brother had awakened their mutant talents, he had never been afraid of death. Therefore, he acted recklessly and without fear. Although his healing factor wasn’t Wolverine’s, it was enough to revive Victor. So, having gained immortality, Victor had nothing to fear.
"Fire!" Gunfire rang out with the command.
They were riddled with bullets, but as the soldiers who gave the order to fire prepared to leave, something incredible happened. Their wounds instantly healed, and during repeated executions, the officers discovered they were mutants, so they were imprisoned.
At this time, William Stryker also discovered Wolverine. He also deeply hated mutants because of his wife's situation, which is why he wanted to eliminate all mutants. This was the source of everything.
Meanwhile, Wolverine and his brother Victor were enjoying a carefree life in prison. Because of their immortality, they were lucky enough to remain inside and weren't immune to bullets. Unbeknownst to them, William Stryker, this uninvited guest, was already preparing to form a mutant team.
“You’re all lunatics, you’re all beasts, lunatics.” William Stryker, wearing sunglasses, said to Wolverine and Victor as soon as he entered. However, the two ignored him. Seeing their reaction, William Stryker paused, seemingly unconcerned, and continued, “My name is Major William Stryker. You are accused of murdering a high-ranking officer. Is that right?”
Wolverine glanced at Stryker but didn't say anything. Victor patted the rat on his shoulder and said helplessly, "Obviously, the higher-ups have a grudge against us. Keep things under control, sir."
“The warden told me your sentence is to be shot by the firing squad for 1000 hours. How does that feel?” William Stryker looked at them with a different kind of meaning in his eyes. It was a fanaticism for mutant power.
"It feels like being stung by a mosquito, a little itchy," Victor said, touching the mouse that had crawled onto his hand.
Stryker smiled and removed his sunglasses. Looking at the graffiti carved on the wall, he knew they weren't going to run anymore. They believed their formidable abilities wouldn't be able to trap them here, and besides, this Wolverine had appeared at the Sentinel robot launch event, leaving a strong impression on some people.
“You two are too lazy to run anymore, aren’t you? Or are you tired of war and don’t want to run away anymore?” Stryker walked up to them and continued, “Or are you weary of it and denying your own talents?”
"None of your business?" Victor disliked meddlesome people like Stryker. They were used to being free, so they didn't like anyone who tried to control them. Especially the inability to let him go on a killing spree; it clearly stifled his nature. This incident, in particular, made him completely dislike the military.
“Oh, of course it concerns me…because I know how different you are. How valuable you are,” Stryker said, squatting down in front of the two men, completely unconcerned by their indifference. He then said to them, “You see, either you stay here locked up like monsters, or you join us. I’m going to gather a group of people with superpowers and build a special force. Now answer me, are you truly willing to serve your country?”
Victor and Wolverine were clearly not the type to live a peaceful life. After Stryker promised them many generous conditions, the two looked at each other and exchanged glances before finally agreeing to join his special forces unit with superpowers.
“Welcome to the team. I guarantee you can realize your potential.” Stryker put his sunglasses back on and smiled at them. He was getting closer to his plan; the reason he recruited these mutants to form a team was to find a meteorite containing adamantium, one of the world's strongest metals. Of course, another metal was vibranium, which was also the material of Captain America's shield.
Led by William Stryker, Sabretooth and Wolverine boarded a passenger plane. The passengers were all mutants, and all of them were at least Level 3. The mutant team members chatted, pondered something, and polished their katanas—the scene was quite lively.
“You know what? I love this sword. More than anything else in the world. Do you want to know why?” Talkative Wade said to the saber-toothed tiger next to him, holding the katana with a serious look in his eyes. However, the tiger’s answer greatly disappointed him.
“No,” Victor replied decisively, clearly not wanting to talk to this person.
"Because it's sentimental, this knife is a bit long, so it's not easy to bring it on a plane, but if you bring two knives to your ex-girlfriend's wedding, they will absolutely never forget it," Wade said to himself, completely ignoring what Sabretooth was saying.
“Wade, that’s hilarious. I hope your mouth is as sharp as your knife,” Sabretooth said, smiling at Wade.
“Of course, my ability is to accelerate the knife extremely fast. Not to mention blocking bullets, even deflecting them is very easy for me.” Wade continued speaking, while the others avoided him like the plague.
“I think you’ve confused me with those trash,” Sabretooth said coldly, looking at Wade.
"Probably, they definitely didn't use a gun. They used bone claws, or maybe the nails of a shopaholic lady, to look cool." Wade looked at Zero wiping his pistol, and the other person glanced at him as well.
Victor was clearly losing his temper. He had fought so many times, but he had never heard anything so unpleasant, so his sharp nails grew longer.
When Wade saw Victor's expression, he knew he had angered him, but he wasn't afraid. He simply held up the whetstone: "Want to file your nails?"
"Victor, don't get agitated." Wolverine turned to Sabretooth and reminded him that fighting here would definitely lead to chaos. This plane was controlled by one of the mutants, and if they accidentally killed him, they would be doomed. That's why Wolverine warned Sabretooth.
Sabretooth, upon hearing Wolverine's words, slightly regained his composure. However, he still looked at Wade with a cold smile, his sharp canines clearly visible. Knowing he was now on Sabretooth's blacklist, Wade quickly changed the subject. (To be continued...)

Chapter 110 Operation Begins
“I saw it, Fred got a new tattoo.” Wade knew he couldn’t mess with Sabretooth, so he changed the subject.
"Oh my god, Fred. You only met her last night." Wolverine turned to look at the tattoos on Fred's arm as she sat beside him, clearly surprised by Fred's incredible growth. Fred could create a gravitational field to keep himself stationary and possessed superhuman strength and endurance. His massive fat tissue could deflect bullets and even artillery shells, so ordinary firearms were largely ineffective against him.
“I love her,” Fred said earnestly, glancing at Wolverine.
"You fell in love with her after just one night?" Wolverine said calmly to Fred with his eyes closed, clearly finding Fred's behavior strange.
“She’s a gymnast,” Fred said, looking at Wolverine.
Bradley, standing nearby, couldn't help but chuckle. At that moment, Stryker said to Bradley, "Bradley, descend." Bradley nodded in understanding, then placed his hand on his temple, watching the plane rapidly descend. Bradley, who could control all the electronic components, was the pilot controlling the aircraft.
"Oh, God," Wolverine said, sounding a little dizzy, clearly suffering from motion sickness.
"Are you going to throw up? If we're going to fly later," Fred teased, munching on chocolate and watching the dizzy Wolverine with amusement.
“But we need to grow wings first,” Wolverine said calmly, looking up.
“Don’t worry, Miss Nancy. There are far more people who die in car accidents than in plane crashes,” Agent Zero interjected.
"How does it compare to those who are locked up?" Wolverine looked up at Agent Zero and asked.
"Hey, watch your mouth, at least watch what you say. Want me to get you a bucket?" John, who had the ability to teleport, quickly stopped the argument from starting and smiled at Wolverine.
"No need," Wolverine shook his head and refused after hearing John's words.
"Gentlemen, we're about to land in Lagos (the former capital of Nigeria)," Stryker reminded the mutant warriors as they approached their destination.
Next, Bradley hid the plane. Africa was no safe place. If things went wrong, the plane would be scrap metal on the way back, so to ensure a safe return after completing the mission, he had to hide it.
The mutant team and Stryker arrived at a place resembling a military fortress. The entire area beneath the building was guarded by heavily armed soldiers. Lights were still on on the top floor, while the very top floor was exposed to searchlights observing the underground area.
"What are we doing here?" Wolverine turned to Stryker and asked.
“Perfect timing, Zero.” Stryker looked at Zero, indicating that he could begin the operation.
Zero understood what it meant, of course. He walked from the squad into the military fortress, and the mutant squad watched his performance intently.
