"Tang, what good stuff have you brought this time?" Nikola Tesla said, taking a sip of fine vodka, but his eyes were fixed on the microcomputer on Tang Tian's wrist and the samples on the ground. Even a fool would understand what he wanted. Although Nikola Tesla was a scientist in the field of electromagnetism, his research in other areas should not be underestimated.

“Mr. Donald, Skynet is now fully connected and managing Mech City together with Wiki and Red Queen. We have some time now... do you think it might be appropriate to…” Dr. Dyson, the Terminator designer standing next to him, said excitedly as he looked at the Terminator data on the laboratory walls and the samples on the ground.

"Hydrogen-oxygen ion batteries, they're really... amazing. I need to modify the NS-5 energy source to create these energy weapons." Dr. Zola, having accessed the T-850's energy source, stood before the hydrogen-oxygen ion battery data displayed on the wall of the core laboratory, his eyes glued to it, and spoke to Tang Tian with fervor.

“Mastermind, I…” As the designer of the NS-5 intelligent robot, Dr. Lanning, although this doctor is a clone, has a very high level of intelligence due to the genetic modification technology of Alexia’s father, Alexander.

"Uh, alright. You win. The data and samples are all here, go and study them!" Tang Tian glanced at these crazy scientists, deciding it was better to just run away. After all, serious scientists are the truly terrifying ones.

"As expected, the main god's artifact is constantly devouring my power," Tang Tian muttered to himself after leaving the laboratory. In fact, Tang Tian discovered a problem: every time he traveled to other planes, his magnetic and spatial abilities, including magical power, were not affected but instead increased, while his gravity ability was being largely devoured by the power of the 'artifact' on his arm.

"Does this mean I should use the power of technology? Well, that's what I want too." Tang Tian seemed to realize he was different from before and was preparing to use the power of technology more. However, what Tang Tian didn't know was that his gravity ability was gradually changing into pure dark matter, filled with an aura of destruction. Although other powers were increasing, they all showed signs of being fused together. The power of the 'original artifact' was further fused with Tang Tian's power.

------------------ ...

"Tang Xing, take over a resource colony for me," Tang Tian said, looking at Tang Xing, who had already undergone multiple viral injections and was fully enhanced.

"Boss, what dimension is it? How many people are we taking?" Tang Xing asked Tang Tian, just like before.

"In the game world 'Dying Light,' there are no dangers like in 'Survival Road,' so it can serve as a resource-based colony. We can manage with 50 military NS-5s and over 2 clone soldiers," Tang Tian said calmly.

"Okay, boss. I'll do it well." Tang Xing, whose eyes had turned crimson and whose pupils were now vertical, said bloodthirstyly.

The game *Dying Light* is a game world, somewhat like the zombies in *I Am Legend* who are inactive during the day but wreak havoc at night. However, the special zombie types within it have attack power similar to the special infected in *Left 4 Dead*. "Your task is to collect virus samples and take over the area," someone commanded Tang Xing in his final speech.

The story is set two months prior, when an unprecedented viral disaster struck Harran, drawing global attention. The cause of the outbreak remains unknown. The government's defense forces (GRE) erected a wall of isolation after the outbreak and continued to airdrop supplies to survivors in the city, believing that proactive measures were the most effective way to stop the spread of the virus.

Kadir Suleiman is a politician hired to maintain local order after the outbreak of the virus. His brother, Hassan Suleiman, died in a disease outbreak that was not evacuated in time, and Suleiman took his anger out on GRE. He stole a confidential document as leverage against GRE.

Dying Light, being a low-risk dimension, doesn't involve the infected constantly running day and night like in Left 4 Dead. Therefore, it's perfect as a resource-based colony for someone, since occupying more colonies also benefits Tang Tian.

Chapter 62 Resource-Type Dimensions

In the Dying Light universe, Harlan City, one week after the virus infection, at 18 PM.

"Bang!" As night was about to fall, Kyle Klein was hitting the face of a dull zombie near his room with a rusty iron pipe. The zombie staggered back a few steps, and Kyle Klein immediately finished it off with another blow to the head.

"Hiss..." Kyle Klein gasped for breath. Having dealt with the nearby zombies, Kyle Klein put down the iron pipe in his hand.

Kyle Klein is a man who wears a jacket, a scorpion tattooed on his chest, and a gold chain. Klein is a kind-hearted man by nature; he follows his own beliefs to help those in need. Even though he has been betrayed several times, Klein exists to represent the fact that the glimmer of humanity has not completely disappeared.

Kyle smashed the zombie's head to pieces. Black brain matter was splattered all over the ground.

"Luckily it's daytime, otherwise we would have been doomed at night," Kyle Klein said thankfully.

In the Dying Light universe, daytime zombies are quite weak, easily taken down by ordinary people. Nighttime zombies are the truly formidable ones, with various special types that no single player can handle alone. To put it another way, daytime zombies are like the weaklings in The Walking Dead, while nighttime zombies are like the special infected in Left 4 Dead, making them incredibly difficult to defend against.

It's daytime now, afternoon. These daytime zombies, while possessing some attack power, are negligible. The special zombies that roam at night, however, have caused considerable misfortune for many who venture out at night.

With Kyle Klein's abilities, these ordinary zombies couldn't do anything to him. The streets of Harlan were filled with abandoned vehicles, and many department stores had been looted. The only supplies he could get were the daily deliveries from the military.

Kyle Klein searched the surrounding darkness and found a survivor with only his upper body remaining. He wondered what possessed such tearing power; it was something an ordinary zombie couldn't have done. Suddenly, Kyle Klein considered a possibility: it might have been the Demolisher.

Kyle Klein carried back two crates of military supplies. Following past experience, he went to a small wooden building and locked the door on the second floor. In front of him was an iron door, locked, but it was pitch black inside; he couldn't see anything. This was to prevent zombies from discovering the place, just as the protagonist in I Am Legend did.

------------------ ...

"Phew..." Kyle Klein breathed a sigh of relief. Having finished dealing with things outside, he felt much more relaxed. It was almost evening, and he hadn't noticed anything unusual yet. Then, Kyle Klein took out his military rations, slowly heated them up, and ate his dinner.

After Kyle Klein finished dinner, it was already 8 p.m. He hugged his AK-47 and prepared to rest.

"Ah!—" At this moment, the special zombies also emerged, seemingly unaware of what had happened. The noisy zombie's cry came from outside, that shriek again; this type of zombie is extremely sensitive to sound. If there are enemies nearby, they will all rush towards your location.

"Puff puff puff puff!" At this moment, the roar of a Gatling gun also came from outside, with a large number of gunshots and the sound of bullets hitting flesh constantly ringing out.

"Could it be the military?" Kyle thought almost instinctively. He was certain that the type of machine gun wasn't something an ordinary survivor could obtain, and the intensity of the gunfire convinced him it was the military.

Kyle finally walked over slowly, each step almost as silent as a cat's, afraid to disturb the people outside. Then, he picked up his AK-47, went up to the roof of the wooden house, and quietly looked outside.

Kyle leaned against the window, looking outside. "Just how... how much terrifying firepower do they possess?" Beads of sweat appeared on Kyle's forehead without him realizing it. He instinctively took a few steps back, avoiding looking at the hellish scene outside.

Only a little over 100 meters from Kyle's landing spot, he could clearly see the situation under the moonlight. First, there were silver-white robots (civilian model NS-5) that looked like something out of a science fiction movie, and robots (T-1) equipped with two Gatling guns. There were also some soldiers in black combat suits firing with precision, and some researchers in hazmat suits collecting zombie samples that had fallen from the ground after being shot by Gatling guns.

What terrified Kyle most was an Asian youth in a suit whose hands constantly transformed into tentacles of various shapes, devouring everything around him—zombies. Or they would transform into thousands of black and red tentacles, wiping out most of the zombies. Clearly, this atmosphere was making Kyle uneasy. The terrifying combination of monster and robot sent another chill down Kyle's spine.

------------------ ...

"Boss, it seems you're right. This plane isn't too dangerous. And the virus isn't as powerful as in The Road to Survival. It's perfect as a resource colony." Tang Xing curled his lip, somewhat disappointed with the zombies in this plane.

"Bang!" A clone soldier shot a firefighter carrying an oxygen tank. As the soldier knocked him down, the tank exploded violently. This explosion of virus-laden gas attracted all the surrounding zombies. These zombies are called "human bombs," somewhat like the vomiters in Left 4 Dead, specifically designed to attract various types of zombies.

"Looks like I'll have to use the ultimate move from Blacklight again—Hell Thrust." Although it was just the implantation of the G virus and the progenitor virus, Tang Xing completely fused with the virus, and the mutation produced changes similar to the combat forms of the Blacklight virus.

Tang Xing's Hell Spike comes in two forms: one aerial and one ground-based. Its attack range is enormous; anything within its radius is doomed. As for the bio-energy loss after its release, Tang Xing is unconcerned, as there are plenty of zombies here to provide energy.

"Boss, what do we do next?" A clone soldier captain next to Tang Xing asked, taking advantage of the fact that his boss had already eliminated a wave of zombies.

"Collect samples of the virus and special zombies. Once completed, destroy this plane as much as possible. After all, how can we let the natives disturb a resource plane? This plane's universe should be entirely dedicated to producing Terminators." Aside from the first two sentences being orders, the rest were Tang Xing's own thoughts. Even if this plane wasn't destroyed, the T-virus in Tang Xing's possession would still help him.

“Yes, boss,” the captain replied expressionlessly.

"Click..." Kyle finally left his home. After all, although it was dangerous outside, following these soldiers and robots, who seemed to be military experiments, was a good option. Besides, the plot hadn't even begun yet. And with Tang Xing's interference, it was basically no longer necessary to follow the plot. This plane was destined to become someone's robot material plane.

P.S.: Whether you've played Dying Light or not, this isn't a direct copy of the main story; this is just one scenario. Next, we'll move to the Left 4 Dead scenario to obtain new bio-weapons, then begin the Terminator vs. bio-weapon war in Terminator 4, and finally the Matrix scenario. After that, we'll return to the main Marvel universe to begin a long Marvel storyline.

Chapter 63 The Four Attackers

"The base couldn't hold out in the end, but we did our best." The four people, who had known each other for a long time, were chatting and laughing in the hotel stairwell. Alice tapped his palm with a crowbar and said helplessly to Nick next to him. From what they had just said, they understood that the survivor base established by Tang Tian had been destroyed by a large number of infected.

Nick turned his head and looked at Alice's puzzled expression with a slightly annoyed look, clearly annoyed by him.

"Hmm...you're right, but I don't really want to talk to you right now. After all, the base brought us so much joy." Nick's slightly provocative words made the atmosphere tense.

"Well, Dr. William did a good job in the end, sending people to take us survivors by helicopter, and the rest of the survivors to a safe place," Alice said awkwardly, seemingly understanding of Nick's attitude.

“Sorry, I just wanted some peace and quiet. The base being overrun by the infected has put me in a bad mood, so I found you annoying,” Nick explained to his longtime partner, trying to resolve a thorny issue of internal discord.

At this moment, Rosie, a Black woman, also sensed the discordant atmosphere and quickly came over to persuade them, "We need to unite. Let's go. We can't argue all the time, at least not now."

"Heh! How fast can we run after leaving the base? But we're back in the same hotel, still the four of us." Kenneth muttered to himself, seemingly surprised by these coincidences.

Indeed, the hotel the helicopter took the four to was the same place where the base had picked them up last time. They prepared briefly and learned a little about the dangers inside the hotel. It must be said that, just like in the original game, the four of them prepared to leave the hotel, except this time they were all carrying large military backpacks and virus serum.

“Listen, we need to take the stairs to the ground floor of the hotel; that’s the only way out right now. The elevator is broken. We’ve been here before, so we have to be careful, stay close together, and don’t get separated,” Nick explained carefully, with a heavy sense of responsibility.

"Then let's go! Let these infected taste my power. It's been a long time since I used melee weapons, damn infected." Kenneth said, opening the door beside him. It seemed the destruction of the base had left him furious.

There were indeed infected people in the quiet hotel corridor, but not as many as expected. They seemed dazed, some lying down, some leaning against the wall. Perhaps because they hadn't been disturbed, the corridor was unusually silent.

------------------ ...

Upon seeing these unsuspecting infected individuals, Nick rushed in without a word, carrying a fire axe, ready to play with the things.

"Crack...whoosh!" In the deathly silent corridor, Ellis angrily cleaved a large hole in the infected man's head, pulled out the cleaver stuck in his skull, and instantly a large amount of dark red blood gushed out.

Ellis entered an unlocked room to see if he could find anything useful. The messy room contained several infected corpses that made him feel uneasy.

"Ha! Don't you think they used to be beautiful?" Nick followed in and joked as he looked at the corpse of a female infected person.

Ellis ignored him and looked at a map on the table in the hotel room. It was a map showing the areas infected by the virus and the government's rescue camps. Ellis was very excited after looking at the map. After all, the southern base had been completely overrun by the infected, so the survivor base in the northern region was a good place to go.

“I think you guys would love New Orleans; it’s the best place for us to survive. Of course, if the base were still standing.” Ellis said excitedly, looking at the map on the table.

“I like New Orleans. Maybe we can take a ship from there to the Atlantic Ocean and find a virus-free island,” Nick said to Ellis with a smile, also looking forward to their trip to New Orleans. Ellis, however, seemed unhappy because of the base situation.

“New Orleans isn’t in the Atlantic Ocean; it’s across the Gulf of Mexico. It’s ridiculous to think you can find an uninhabited island there,” Kenneth corrected Nick’s dream.

The sounds of limbs colliding and objects being struck suggested that the noise in the corridor was getting a bit louder, and Kenneth was a little nervous, fearing that a large number of infected people might be alerted.

“Hey! Do you guys know how to get there? This is no joke. You better not make any noise in the hallway, or you’ll definitely alert them.” Kenneth called out to Ellis and Nick, telling them to be careful and that they should go across the hallway from the room’s balcony.

however……

"It's alright... Look at these, what are they? Guys in protective suits." Nick casually pointed to an infected person wearing special clothing. It seemed even Ceda hadn't escaped the virus. The fire axe seemed to work well, splitting the infected person's head in two. Coincidentally, one half of the bloody head was knocked into Rosie's leg, and Rosie's scream instantly echoed down the corridor; she was clearly terrified.

"Ah! Damn it, what are you guys doing? What's this thing on my pants?"

A loud bang followed, and sure enough, after only a few seconds of cooling down, the sounds of a large number of infected people came from afar. It was Luo Xue'er who had alerted them. The infected people's ears were like radar; even though they were no longer making any noise, they could still tell where the four people were.

"Quick, quick, let's get inside!" Nick shouted. Perhaps because the infected had a keen sense of smell, they began to swarm into the room where the four were.

"Oh, I said you should be quiet for a while, or you'll attract a lot of infected people," Luo Xue'er said helplessly, complaining about their voices.

"Who exactly lured them here? Heh..." Nick and the others smiled at her in response.

“I need to crouch by the door. I often chop them down with a fire axe; it’s very satisfying.” Nick said, walking to the door and crouching down to begin his killing spree. “Then I’ll cover you.” Rosie knew she had made a mistake and said to Nick, taking out her pistol and standing on the door to deal with the infected that had escaped.

The other two guarded the other door, with Ellis crouching beside it with a cleaver and knife, mimicking Nick's method, while Kenneth provided cover.

------------------ ...

"Are you sure you can kill them all with these melee weapons?" Rosie asked Nick, who was crouching by the door, as she prepared herself.

"Of course! We are very powerful. Cold weapons can't kill these infected people, but we also have high-tech weapons."

“Look! They’re here. You’ll soon see how I torture them,” Nick said confidently, gripping his axe tightly.

"Eek...ya...ya..." A group of infected people rushed towards the room where the four were. Sure enough, the axe was incredibly powerful, mercilessly splitting the infected in two. Foul-smelling bodily fluids sprayed onto Nick's face. Because they were immune to the virus, they didn't need to worry about getting infected.

Ellis's slashing and knife skills were also quite good, but they probably lacked real combat experience because their training at the base mainly focused on firearms. Therefore, some infected individuals who weren't killed by the slashing and managed to escape were fortunately shot dead by Rosie's pistol.

This was the first time the four had fought together since leaving the base, and they seemed to have great teamwork. However, the infected were wiped out in no time.

"Oh! Look how stupid they are. I thought they were so powerful, but it seems they just rush in like headless flies." Luo Xue'er mocked these pitiful infected, who seemed slightly different from the infected she had imagined.

“These infected are nothing compared to the infected I encountered during my interviews in Georgia. There was an especially formidable infected there, like the rare and special infected that Dr. William discovered, and he even prepared the data.” Rosie spoke of the knowledge she had learned at the base, her exaggerated expression suggesting she was worried that such monsters might appear here as well.

"Other special infected are also very powerful, such as Tank, Smoker and other powerful infected. The most powerful one overturned the armored vehicles in our base. Before leaving the base, we saw the power of Tank. Encountering it is very frightening."

"Hopefully, Dr. William and Bill and the others can escape safely," Nick said calmly as he sat down on the ground after watching the infected horde be wiped out.

"Yes, it's been half a month since the base was destroyed, but before the destruction, it seems Dr. William invented something and was very excited," Luo Xue'er said with a puzzled look.

“I think Dr. William is still alive, after all, the underground permanent fortifications have a large amount of weapons and food, but I think Dr. William is waiting for someone,” Ellis said, stating his judgment.
