After hearing this, Adam said, "I didn't mean anything by it. I've fought some mutants who were being controlled before, and there was a key person among them. All I knew about him was that he was a priest. I always thought he was the one controlling the mutants."

Adam asked doubtfully, "Did you hear that with your own ears?"

Adam sneered and said, "Mystique, stop with your tricks! If you try to find out my identity again, I won't be so polite!"

Logan seemed a little confused by Adam's words and asked, "What are you talking about?"

Adam said impatiently, "Alright, Mystique, stop playing tricks. It seems you don't understand my abilities. I've already seen the real Logan with Lady Jean. Moreover, Logan knows my name. You haven't called my name since you came in, which has already aroused my suspicion. So stop acting!"

Logan chuckled, transformed back into Mystique, and said, "Heh heh, I didn't expect you to have X-ray vision. Does that mean you can peek into other people's bodies? Hey, tell me, what about Phoenix?"

Storm pointed to the simple model created by the aircraft's computer and said, "Based on this data, we know that the entrance to Stryker's secret base is inside the dam's flood discharge channel, but the problem is how we get into Stryker's base."

Logan volunteered, "Let me go!"

Magneto shook his head and said, "I don't think you can open the door from the inside."

Logan, upon hearing this, angrily asked, "Then how are we supposed to get in?"

Adam pointed at Mystique and said, "Let Mystique transform into your likeness and go in. Didn't you say Stryker knows you and is very interested in you? If that's the case, as soon as he sees you, he'll definitely go and see for himself. This is our chance to get into the base!"

Upon hearing this, Logan asked, "Is she alright?"

William Stryker stood in the monitoring room, watching his subordinates busily working, and asked, "Is the brainwave enhancement machine ready? When can it be put into use?"

Upon hearing this, a staff member replied, "Almost done, sir! It should be ready to run in about ten minutes."

Stryker sighed and said, "Alright, ten minutes it is! Have your men speed up, and everyone on high alert!"

Just then, one of the people in charge of monitoring said, "Sir, someone has entered the flood discharge channel and has already reached the gate."

Stryker paused, then saw Logan standing at the door, shouting incessantly. Stryker chuckled and said, "Oh, isn't this my test subject? My adorable lamb is finally going home? Heh heh, let him in, but don't let your guard down! I'll be right there!" He then walked out.

When Stryker reached the door, he found Logan being held quietly by the soldiers. He frowned and said, "This isn't Logan. The real Logan wouldn't be this quiet! Kill him!" He then turned to leave.

Upon hearing this, Mystique smiled and returned to her original form. She used her superb fighting skills to knock the soldiers to the ground, then closed the door beside her and slid inside, giving Stryker a universally recognized gesture—the middle finger.

Stryker was furious upon seeing this and said, "Quickly, open this door and get to the monitoring room. Her target will definitely be the monitoring room. Hurry up!" He then ordered the soldiers to open the door and led them towards the monitoring room.

Meanwhile, Mystique, already transformed into Stryker, entered the monitoring room with someone and said in a hurried tone, "A mutant who can change her appearance has infiltrated! She can transform into anyone! Go check her out!"

The soldiers left in the monitoring room were momentarily stunned by what they heard and asked in confusion, "Can you transform into anyone?"

Mystique nodded and said, "That's right! That's it!" Then she picked up the gun of the soldier next to her and used it like a stick to hit the two soldiers several times until they lost consciousness. Then she closed the security door of the monitoring room.

When the real Stryker arrived at the monitoring room, he found that the security door had begun to descend, making it impossible for them to pass through. Moreover, there was another version of himself standing inside, blowing him a very charming kiss, which instantly enraged him.

Stryker said angrily, "Open this door right now!"

Upon hearing this, a soldier said, "Sir, this door can only be opened from the inside. It's specially designed to prevent outsiders from intruding into the monitoring room. It can't be opened from the outside!"

Stryker snorted, then noticed the security camera was on and said, "Smash that thing!"

One of the soldiers next to him quickly drew his pistol and blasted the surveillance camera to pieces.

Just then, the alarm sounded in the base that the gate had been opened. Stryker saw this and said, "Damn it, that mutant has opened the base gate. You guys hold this place, the rest of you come with me!" He then walked towards the brainwave enhancement machine.

Outside the base, Adam, Logan, Magneto, Phoenix, Kurt, and Storm waited for Mystique to open the base gates, while the students remained on the plane outside, waiting quietly.

A dozen minutes after Mystique went inside, the base gate was opened, and Magneto smiled slightly and said, "Hehe, open sesame!" After all, Mystique was his capable assistant, and he was naturally happy that she could do something that others couldn't.

Actually, Adam could have opened the door, but that method was too violent. If Stryker knew that the person coming was too powerful, he would definitely kill Professor X immediately, which was not something Adam and his team wanted to see. So Adam did not make a move.

After hearing this, Magneto put on his helmet and said, "Then let's go quickly. Mystique and I will go find Charles, and you two go and rescue those children."
