Chapter Forty-Nine: Target Canada!

When Adam and Phoenix arrived at Iceman Bobby's house, they found that a brief battle had taken place. Many police officers were lying on the ground, and most of their vehicles were totaled, reduced to piles of metal.

After hearing this, Adam said, "The police attacked first. I saw Logan get shot in the forehead. They're probably terrified. Let's land. We don't have time to waste here."

Storm nodded after hearing this, and landed the plane directly on the clearing ground that Pyro had cleared. Then Adam was the first to run out.

Adam looked at the three students and said, "Alright, let's get on the plane quickly, we still have a lot to do."

The little rascal looked at Logan and asked, "How is he?"

Adam said irritably, "Logan, when are you going to stop sleeping?!"

Sure enough, Logan stood up, shook his head, and said, "Hey, you're here!"

Adam nodded and said, "Okay, let's hurry up, or we'll be playing hide-and-seek with the police." He then led everyone back to the fighter jet.

Once aboard the fighter jet, Logan saw Kurt and asked, "Who is he?"

After hearing this, Logan asked, "Are we really going to go find Magneto?"

Logan said, "But we can't be sure if he'll help us."

Mystique said, "Someone hacked into my computer, claiming to be Batman, saying he's with the X-Men and needs to talk to us."

Mystique asked after hearing this, "Oh? What are you planning to do?"

Magneto laughed and said, "Isn't Stryker's intention in taking the Brain Enhancer to kill us mutants through Charles? Hmph, when we find Charles, don't wake him up. Just reverse the Brain Enhancer's structure and let Charles kill all humans!"

Mystique exclaimed in surprise, "With Shadows and the others around, your plan has no chance of succeeding!"

Magneto said calmly, "I know my plan won't succeed. I just wanted to show humanity the power of us mutants. Of course, if the X-Men and Shadow Beginner can't stop Charles, it's no big deal. If humanity goes extinct, Earth will belong to us mutants."

Mystique paused for a moment, then asked, "So how should I reply to Shadow?"

Magneto said, "Tell them we'll meet up near XX in the Canadian Rockies, and then we'll look for Stryker's base together."

After seeing it, Logan asked, "Doesn't this piece of junk have any weapons?"

Storm sneered, "We are our own best weapon!" Her eyes then began to glow white, clearly indicating that she was using her mutant powers.

The sky, which had been blue just moments before, was instantly covered by dark clouds. Countless tornadoes descended from above, creating a terrifying phenomenon. However, Storm didn't want to hurt anyone, so the tornadoes she created were just empty shells, devoid of any power.

Taking advantage of the dark clouds covering the sky, the X-Men's fighter jets quickly broke through the clouds and avoided the two American fighter jets.

After seeing this, the little rascals and the others cheered, "Ah, we've finally shaken them off!"

Adam shook his head after hearing this and said, "You're celebrating too soon!"

Sure enough, just as Adam finished speaking, an alarm sounded in the fighter jet. Storm immediately exclaimed, "Damn it! They've launched missiles at us! Jean, think of something!"

Therefore, when Phoenix sensed something was wrong and led Storm and the others to the room where the Cerebro was located, the humans only experienced severe headaches and did not die immediately.
