When they arrived, Green Arrow had already put away his uniform and was talking to Bruce Wayne's butler in a well-tailored suit. To be honest, Oliver Queen at this moment didn't look like Green Arrow at all; well, he was still a handsome young man.

"Hey, you guys are finally here! I've been so bored all by myself," Oliver Quinn said dramatically.

"What? Bruce hasn't come out yet?" Adam asked, somewhat puzzled.

Bruce's butler, Jean Alfred, is a burly middle-aged man who is said to be the nephew of the former butler, Alfred. He previously served in the Navy but retired for some personal reasons and was brought back by his uncle to become the butler of Wayne Manor.

"Master has some meetings to attend and may be back a little late," the butler explained to Adam, "It concerns the rebuilding of the Justice League."

"Looks like we're early." Adam didn't press Bruce further upon hearing this, and turned to Janata, saying, "Alright, we've arrived. Go have some fun by yourself."

After all, no matter how powerful Ganata is, she's still just a child. She can't stay in one place for long, so it's best to let her go play. Anyway, she's not a real troublemaker, so there's no need to worry about anything happening to her. Besides, with Athena by her side, how could anything go wrong?

"I heard your people came too. Why didn't they come with you?" Adam asked, sitting on the sofa nearby.

“He said he wanted to see the people of this world, so he went with Bruce,” Oliver said with a shrug.

"Where are the others?" Adam asked curiously.

“Our Batman, that guy’s analyzing some data, you know he’s a workaholic.” Oliver shrugged and said, “Cyborg is in there with the Flash. As for Aquaman and Wonder Woman, they messaged me saying they’ll be back tonight. As for Hal, who’s gone even further, I don’t know.”

"So, you've been abandoned," Adam joked.

"Uh, no, by the way, what kind of wine do you want?" Oliver changed the subject, saying, "I remember Bruce has a lot of fine wines in his collection."

“Alright, I’ll have a drink with you since I’m in the mood today.” Adam shrugged and said, “Looks like your world is safe for now.”

"I heard the chaos from last time is over. There shouldn't be any unexpected incidents for now, and even if something does happen, it's not just the Flash alone; there are many others there, so there's nothing to worry about," Oliver shrugged.

Chapter 388 Victory Banquet and Returning Home

Because Adam and Oliver Queen arrived early, they sat in the living room chatting about fun things from their respective worlds. "Okay, Clark, then you don't need to call me 'sir' anymore, just call me Adam. That's what my friends call me." Adam realized that Clark Kent did have a certain charm, not the kind of charm you old perverts imagine, but a kind of personal charm that belonged to him personally and had been formed over a long period of time.

Afterwards, the two chatted for a while. During the conversation, Adam had already confirmed that the main genes in his body might have come from this person. However, none of that mattered anymore. He was no longer a Superman clone, but a completely new life, Howard Stark's son Adam Stark, with his own memories, a loving family and partner, and comrades who could entrust their backs to each other. “Yes, because of my master, because of a miracle, I was born.” Athena said with a smile, “Then I met someone who fascinated me.”

Upon hearing this, Adam simply grasped Athena's hand without speaking. He knew that he had been deceiving himself all along, making excuses for himself in various ways. But perhaps he truly owed this woman who had always silently sacrificed for him. Even though he already had Christine and a complete love, the strange feelings he had for Athena were an emotion that Adam could neither let go of nor face.

Athena felt Adam grasp her small hand, trembled slightly, then relaxed, but quickly pulled her hand back. Adam wasn't surprised; he knew Athena knew his feelings. But like Adam, Athena had also been avoiding her own feelings. After gaining life, she was no longer an intelligent program, and she no longer had the idea that her master belonged only to her. That was why she had stayed in the watchtower and hadn't returned.

"Hey, you two are here. What are you whispering about? Come over and have a drink!" At this moment, Wonder Woman, wearing a fiery red evening gown that accentuated her stunning figure, walked over with two large beer mugs in her hands and a flushed face from the alcohol. Everyone seemed to have found something to do: drinking, chatting, and enjoying themselves without worrying about the apocalypse or crime. It would be a shame not to take advantage of Bruce Wayne's kindness.

The day passed in a flurry of activity and joy. After tonight, everyone will pick up the responsibilities they had temporarily abandoned and return to the front lines of protecting the world, fighting against all sorts of aliens or supervillains.

The portal connecting the two parallel worlds has been established, and Superman and the others are already dressed in their uniforms, saying goodbye to Bruce Wayne.

“Thank you again for your help,” Bruce Wayne said.

“We’re already friends, so you don’t need to thank us,” Superman said with a smile. “Your strength has been affected to some extent by this incident, so if you need any help, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are still willing to help you.”

"Don't worry, I'm not that old-fashioned. If I need help, I'll definitely come to you." Bruce Wayne nodded slightly and said.

Batman, leading the Joker, approached and said, "Contact me if anything comes up." He then bid farewell to Adam and was the first to step into the portal.

Superman shrugged after seeing this, and then, along with everyone else, said goodbye to Adam and entered the portal one by one. Less than ten seconds later, the portal lit up with a green light, indicating that they had safely reached their destination. The Flash, who was a little tired from running, stopped and sat down on the ground to catch his breath.

"That was exhausting. Luckily, Adam and the others don't need my help," the Flash said haltingly.

"Haha, we're leaving too. Remember to come visit sometime!" Adam laughed, and amidst the Flash's envious gaze, he created a portal and took Athena and Ganata away.

Bruce Wayne was also seeing Adam's ability for the first time. He had originally planned to let the Flash rest for a while before activating the portal, but he didn't expect the Flash to just leave.

"Is this also one of his abilities?" Bruce Wayne asked, frowning.

“That’s right, I remember he said he bought it from a merchant. I’m so envious. He doesn’t have to work himself to death like I do.” The Flash nodded and said.

"How could he do evil? It's completely impossible. You're being too sensitive," the Flash said somewhat displeasedly. The other person had just helped him get back, and he was already saying such things.

“We believed that Superman wouldn’t do evil!” Bruce Wayne said calmly, “But even so, I still had a backup plan, although it ultimately proved useless.”

"What exactly are you trying to say?" the Flash asked, sounding somewhat angry.

“No, I’m not trying to say anything, I just want your help.” Bruce Wayne said to The Flash, “I want you to take a day off and then send something to that other world for me, to the person you mentioned before. Don’t worry, I’m just doing this in case.”

After hearing this, the Flash shook his head and said, "I still don't believe Adam would do evil, but that's precisely why I helped you deliver your backup plan to him. I don't think he'll need it." With that, a flash of golden electricity appeared around him, and he disappeared. Clearly, the usually good-natured Barry Allen was genuinely angry this time.
