"Damn it!" The man frowned, hovering above the Earth. After determining his location, he immediately flew towards the United States because he heard the distress device he had given to his friend Lex Luthor begin to ring.

A little earlier in time, President Lex Luthor, dressed in a clumsy mech, flew out of the White House office, searching for a sniping spot. Just then, several missiles suddenly flew in from the ground. Lex Luthor certainly wouldn't be shot down so easily. He quickly escaped the missile lock-on. When he had no other choice, he fired a flare, which was then shot down by the force of the two missile explosions.

"The armor's main thruster is damaged." The armor's intelligent system immediately reported the bad news to Lex Luthor.

Lex Luthor looked up at the sky and asked, "How much longer can we use this energy?"

He closed his eyes and his mind raced through everything between him and Lex Luthor: from their first meeting to becoming friends, then their relationship breaking down, and finally, Lex Luthor suddenly appearing in front of him at his most helpless moment, and the two becoming friends again. But unfortunately, it now seems that all of this was just the man's wishful thinking.

Thinking this, the man opened his eyes. His gaze was completely calm. He looked at Lex Luthor as if he were looking at a street lamp or a car. He just stared at Lex Luthor like that, but his wrist slowly increased its pressure. Soon, he put down the lifeless Lex Luthor and flew into the sky and left.

At the very moment Lex Luthor died, all the videos showing a human killing him were uploaded to major websites around the world. Of course, these videos were all edited, not the original footage. Only Athena, who knew about Lex Luthor's plan, could have done this. Therefore, at that moment, everyone on Earth knew that a human had killed someone; he was no longer their protector.

Chapter 383 The Final Battle (Part 4)

Superman flew on, passing over Green Lantern and the others, but he knew that he was no match for them alone. So he pretended not to see them and flew directly to Antarctica. Unfortunately, Doomsday had broken free from Superman's control, so he didn't know that Adam was still in Lonely Castle.

"I'll make you regret this, I promise!" Superman thought to himself.

Superman was incredibly fast, and soon he arrived at a place in Antarctica known as Lonely Castle. This place was originally a memento left to him by his father, but it had been largely destroyed by Adam and Doomsday.

"I'll kill you!" Superman left these words, and large-scale spiderweb-like cracks appeared on the floor at his feet. In the blink of an eye, Superman was in front of Adam and punched Adam in the face with anger.

With a snap, Adam blocked Superman's attack with one hand, then grabbed the opponent's wrist and threw Superman to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw. Then, he threw the same punch at Superman, who was still on the ground.

Superman had no time to dodge and could only cross his arms in an X shape in front of him, taking Adam's punch head-on. Then, the ground where Superman was lying cracked open with a loud bang, and Superman and Adam disappeared from the castle hall. They had broken through the castle floor and entered the underground level.

Superman used the fall to create distance between himself and Adam, then found himself in the location of the combat robots, a sinister smile creeping across his face.

"Battle robots are being activated!" the AI ​​program immediately reported to Superman.

At that moment, Adam remained calm and said indifferently, "Disengage command, continue hibernation!"

At this moment, a scene that greatly surprised Superman occurred: the intelligent program that had previously reported the situation to him immediately canceled its previous command after hearing Adam's words and sealed the robot away again.

"This... how is this possible? How could you possibly control the Orphanage's AI program?" Superman asked, his face filled with disbelief.

“Because I’m Superman too,” Adam shrugged and said.

The real reason, however, lies with that peculiar cosmic ray. Under its radiation, all of Adam's genes became perfectly optimized. In essence, Adam is a composite of all time-traveling superhumans. His genes contain samples from almost every time-traveling superhuman, so if Adam were to travel to any of these time-traveling worlds in the future, he could travel to any of them.

With a loud bang, a human-shaped crater appeared on the icy snow. Then, a Superman wearing a blue bodysuit with red underwear fell from the sky and jumped directly into the crater, because he knew that Adam would not be defeated so easily.

Sure enough, when he entered, he found that Adam was not in the same place at all, so he immediately became cautious. At that moment, a powerful fist appeared out of nowhere and hit Superman hard in the stomach. Boom! This time, Superman was sent flying.

After repeating this several times, Superman found it too difficult to finish off his enemy here, so he decided to return to the castle and fight Adam to the death. Of course, the real reason was that Superman remembered one of the castle's functions and wanted to take Adam down with him.

After returning to the castle, Superman landed on the ground somewhat disheveled and panting heavily, clearly exhausted from the previous battle. Adam, on the other hand, looked refreshed due to his abundant energy. As a result, he had rushed over shortly after Superman returned to the castle.

Then he grabbed Superman’s collar and kept slapping Superman’s face with his other hand.
