“No,” Barry Allen shook his head.
“Oh, now you know,” Adam nodded slightly.
“Alright, you two can stop now. Athena has cracked their quantum computer, and we can contact them now,” Christine reminded them.
“Oh, I think it would be better to call Star-Lord over now, since he knows more about aliens,” Percy Jackson suddenly said.
“Ah, I almost forgot about that guy. What has he been up to lately?” Adam asked.
“Master, Star-Lord should be in England right now,” Athena suddenly said.
"Hey, Athena, you've completely taken control of their AI?" Adam asked, seeing that Athena could move.
"Hmm, although it took some effort, I still managed to break through," Athena said with a smile. "Master, do you know how they discovered Earth?"
"Oh, it seems like there's some interesting story behind this," Barry Allen said, pulling a bag of potato chips out of nowhere.
“It is indeed an interesting story,” Athena said. “When they happened to pass by the edge of the solar system, they encountered the information that the US government had put into space. After some calculations, they found Earth.”
"Oh, is that the stuff NASA does every year? Looks like they're really asking for trouble." Adam scoffed and said, "They've always thought they're the only primates in the universe, the only intelligent beings, and they haven't changed their minds yet."
"Master, what should we do now?" Athena asked.
"Use the main weapon to lock onto the enemy's ship, and then ask them why they came to Earth?" Adam said to Athena. "Although we already know their intentions, whether they came with malice is something we don't know."
"Yes, Master." Athena immediately relayed the message, saying, "The message has been sent. They are waking up the other crew members."
"Alright, now call Star-Lord back." Adam pondered. "Hmm, you can handle Christine's matter. Oh, and first, have Athena give him a prank call."
“Okay, I’ll be right there,” Christine nodded slightly.
At this moment, Athena said, "Master, Star-Lord is in a church in London. It seems that nothing you are worried about has happened. I have already reached Christine's personal terminal."
“I understand. By the way, can aliens see what’s happening on our side?” Adam asked.
"I'm just providing a one-way link; do I need to negotiate with them face-to-face?" Athena asked.
"Oh, then let's wait for Star-Lord for now."
Adam thought it best to be cautious, because according to Star-Lord, some aliens seemed to have been intercepted by the Galactic Federation under various pretexts. Although the Galactic Federation was unwilling to confront someone like Thanos directly, they would not let him get what he wanted so easily.
"I think you did a great job. We have to be cautious when dealing with aliens. After all, someone who can bring out such a large spaceship can't be an ordinary being," Barry Allen said with a smile. "Because most of the time we don't know if the other side is alone, or from some planetary empire or federation. We should avoid making the first move if possible."
Chapter 354 The Aliens Have Arrived (Part 3)
Star-Lord has been living a very comfortable life lately. He left Earth when he was very young, but some of his childhood experiences gave him a special feeling for Earth. It was because of this that he learned that aliens were eyeing Earth, and he rushed over even though he was in danger. As luck would have it, after arriving on Earth, he not only made some friends, but most of these friends were also rich. So Star-Lord did not hesitate to cling to the coattails of these rich people, got an unlimited credit card, and started living like a king.
Well, okay, that does seem to reflect a nouveau riche mentality.
Today, unusually, he didn't come with the girl he had just met, but instead came to the church alone. It was a church he used to frequent when he was a child, but sadly, things had changed, and many people were no longer there. Even the old priest he knew had reportedly passed away a few years ago.
Sitting quietly on the church pew, Star-Lord felt he had had enough of this peaceful life and it was time to go back. He realized he wasn't really suited for this kind of mundane existence.
"Hmm, it's time to go back. I wonder if those guys are still looking for me?" Star-Lord said softly, his head down.
"Hey, Star-Lord, I've finally found you."
Suddenly a voice appeared in Star-Lord's ear. He turned his head and saw Christine standing next to him, staring at him.
"Oh, Christine, it's you. What happened?" Star-Lord asked immediately upon seeing Christine.
“That’s right, a spaceship has just arrived at a location not far from the lunar surface. Athena has taken control of its quantum computer, and now we need your help to figure out its intentions,” Christine explained.
"Wow, Athena is really amazing. The spaceship that can travel such a long distance must be equipped with the most advanced supercomputers." Star-Lord raised an eyebrow and said, "It was definitely the right decision to come back to Earth this time, otherwise I wouldn't know so many amazing things."
“Alright, we’ll talk about this later. We have to go now,” Christine said to Star-Lord.
“Okay, no problem. I’m just here to reminisce about the past, not to pray. You can leave anytime.” Star-Lord stood up and said, “Then let’s go.”
And so Star-Lord and Christine left the church together, went to a secluded corner, and disappeared as a beam of light.
When Star-Lord opened his eyes again, he was already inside the Watchtower. Regarding such strength, Star-Lord could only say that there were really a lot of freaks on Earth. You know, although there are many people with such strength in the vast universe, which of those planets isn't an advanced civilization? Which one isn't a large family? Unlike Earth, which is clearly a planet that can't even be ranked, but there are still a lot of powerful freaks on it.
Especially that guy named Dr. Bruce Banner, who can turn into the Hulk whenever he gets angry, and his strength increases with the degree of anger, he's practically a bug.
"Oh, Star-Lord's here. Take a look at these guys. Is there anyone we can't afford to offend?" Adam asked immediately when he saw Star-Lord and Christine arrive.
It wasn't that he was afraid of the other party's strength; he himself wasn't afraid of such things. However, he could simply leave, but he couldn't take Earth with him. Therefore, in order to have one less enemy, he had to be cautious.
"Really? Let me see. Ha, you guys won the lottery!" Star-Lord walked over and looked at the image Athena had created, and said in shock, "These guys, I remember pointing in the opposite direction, how did they find Earth again?"
"That's Earthlings courting death." Percy Jackson revealed how the other party knew some information about Earth, leaving Star-Lord speechless.
"To be honest, if he's courting death, there's no way we can rescue him," Star-Lord sighed.
"Alright, stop joking around, tell me who these guys are?" Adam asked, having gleaned some information from their eyes.
“I would rather have some other people come, or even just a fleet. With your strength, you could easily handle that.” Star-Lord shrugged and said, “That guy who looks like an alpaca is the younger brother of the heir of another star system-level family… named Taro. Well, although he’s not the heir, his sister dotes on him, so you can’t afford to offend him. Of course, that’s only if you don’t insult him.”
"Well, one... how should I put it, in Chinese terms, a second-generation cosmic being?" Tony shrugged and asked.
“Ah, that’s it. Standing next to him is the prince of Planet Kuro. That catwoman is from the M874 star system. She seems to be a princess of some empire. And the last guy who looks like a human is the bounty hunter Chaos, who’s also a troublesome fellow,” Star-Lord quickly introduced.
"So, they're all guys with powerful connections and considerable strength," Jean Grey, who had already arrived after hearing the news, said from the side.
"Hmm, the chosen ones from various star systems." Star-Lord suddenly looked around at the people and said, "Well, compared to you freaks, we're still a bit green."
“I agree with that,” Barry Allen suddenly said.
"Huh, who are you?" Star-Lord suddenly realized he had never seen this person before, so he asked.
“Alright, this is Barry Allen, my friend, um, from another universe. As for the rest, you can ask me later. Right now, we need to deal with these four troublesome prodigies.” Adam suddenly interjected, “Athena, we can establish a real-time connection.”
"Yes, Master. Establish a real-time connection immediately. It's done. We can contact them now, and they've seen us." Athena replied immediately upon hearing this.
"Okay, hello, four friends from other star systems. What brings you to Earth?" Star-Lord, noticing Adam's signal, stepped forward and addressed the four people on the screen.
“Oh, it’s you? That liar!” Catwoman Sfield shouted, pointing at Star-Lord.
"Uh, that's right, it's me. It's been a while since we parted ways on Planet Trunks. How have you all been?" Star-Lord's skin was as thick as a city wall, and he said with a smile.
"So you're from Earth. No wonder you pointed in the opposite direction." Chaos finally understood why they had been lied to them. "But what is your purpose in controlling our spaceship now?"
“To prevent you from plotting against Earth,” Star-Lord shrugged and said, “After all, Thanos’s bounty is just too tempting, we have to be careful.”
"We're just here to take a look, and sorry, we already sent the coordinates back when we first discovered Earth," Kira shrugged.
"We'll talk about the future later, but what is your purpose in coming to Earth?" Adam asked, looking at them.
"Is it wrong to be curious?" Tarot's tone softened slightly as the spaceship was now under the control of the other party.
“Fine, now that you’ve seen Earth, please turn back the way you came.” Logan, cigar in mouth, scoffed, “Earth is just a planet like this, according to you, a backward planet, nothing to see.”
"It seems you are the strongest on Earth. Would you be interested in a match with us?" Catwoman Steffiel, a warmonger, immediately spoke up.
"Want to have a match with us? Is there a wager?" Percy Jackson asked, amused.
“Of course we can. If you are stronger than us, we can exchange our technologies. After all, you Earthlings would really need these.” Kira smiled and said, “Although your quantum computer technology is very advanced, I think that gentleman must have bought it from another planet. As is customary, such quantum computers do not have data on basic technology.”
"Oh? What if we fail?" Tony asked curiously.
“If we fail, Earth will naturally belong to us,” Tarot said matter-of-factly. “That’s just how it is in interstellar space.”
"Haha, there's such a custom? Fine, but if you lose, I don't want your so-called skills. I just want you to agree to a few conditions." Adam stared at Chaos and said, "Don't worry, I won't make things difficult for you."
"Okay, it's a deal."
"A word is settled!"
Chapter 355 The Aliens Have Arrived (End)
"Are we really going to fight them?" Kira asked, looking at the three people behind him inside the spaceship.
“What can we do now? We thought Earth was just a backward planet, but we never expected it to have such technological power.” Sfitel shrugged and said, “But this is good, we can see what Earth is like.”
"What shocked me the most were those few people. They seemed to be able to walk in a vacuum. That's no ordinary ability," Chaos said, stroking his chin.
"But how do we get to Earth? I don't think they'll let us pilot a spaceship to Earth," Tarot pondered.
"Teleportation. We will use teleportation technology to send you to Earth, to the location we have chosen."
A voice suddenly appeared behind them. They turned around and saw the woman they had just seen in the projection standing there. This shocked them all; if she had wanted to launch a sneak attack, they wouldn't have had time to react.
Moreover, what shocked Chaos the most was the woman's teleportation technique. Such technology was extremely rare even on planets of advanced civilizations. Chaos could usually detect the fluctuations of most teleportation techniques, but he couldn't detect them at all this time.
"When did you arrive?" Chaos asked, feigning composure.
"I heard you talking soon after I arrived." Only Christine could possess this teleportation technology; she came here to take them to Earth.
What? You're saying Adam isn't worried about Christine's safety? Please, if anyone should be worried, it's those four people who are worried about their own safety. Christine is a god with divine power, even if it's obtained by absorbing others. She's still a god, and if she really unleashes her power, even Adam might not be able to promise Christine.
"Oh, I see. I'm quite interested in the trip to Earth now. By the way, sister, what's your name?" Steffiel asked Christine with a grin.
"My name is Christine. Okay, let's talk about that later. Stand still, we're about to set off."
Christine did not lower her guard because of Steffiel's smiling face. She said something indifferently and then chanted a spell to activate the teleportation magic, disappearing from the spaceship with the four of them.
Adam prepared for this duel on the Antarctic ice sheet, partly to avoid being discovered, and partly to embarrass his opponent. After all, it was their home turf. Well, please forgive Adam for being a little cunning, but who told him to be the protagonist?
Christine used teleportation magic, while Adam and the others used the teleportation room in the watchtower, arriving at their designated locations almost simultaneously.
"Ah, so this is Earth. But why is there ice everywhere?" Kira looked around and frowned.
"This is the South Pole of Earth, our battlefield. We need to prevent our battles from affecting ordinary humans," Christine explained.
"Alright, now that the battlefield is ready, who's going first?" Adam asked at this moment.
“I’ll go first, but there are too many of you here, so we need to decide on the next few people,” Kira asked, looking at Adam and the others.
"These are the four of us," Adam said, pointing to the four people standing at the front of their group. "They are Aquaman, Wolverine, The Flash, and Iron Man."
Chaos glanced at the four people standing in front and said, "Aren't you going to join the fray yourself?"
"Heh, I'm not really keen on bullying kids." Adam pursed his lips and said, "Besides, you seem to have misunderstood. Their strength is also quite formidable, not what you think."
"I'm not a child, hmph, I'll go for the first match." Tarot stepped forward somewhat angrily and asked Adam, "Who will represent your side?"
“I’ve heard that your race has a strong regenerative ability and is quite powerful. I happen to have a good regenerative ability as well, so let me handle the first battle,” Logan said, chewing on his cigar and looking at Tarot.
"It's so unfair! You all know our information, but we don't know yours," Steffiel said, looking at the others with some displeasure.
"We didn't invite you to Earth," Christine said irritably.
"What? How annoying. Humph." Steffiel tossed his head and said.
