While fighting off Magneto's attacks alongside Spider-Man, Maxim said, "Has no one ever told you how despicable you are!" He noticed that although Magneto was showing signs of exhaustion, his attacks became increasingly frequent and complex after hearing Spider-Man's words.

Spider-Man threw a demagnetizing bomb, breaking Magneto's chain attack, and then said, "You say I'm despicable? How can you say that about me? How could a promising young man like me be a despicable person? This is slander. I'm going to sue you in the Superpower Court!"

Upon hearing this, Maxim nearly got hit by a flying sword, barely dodging the fatal blow. He then unleashed a wind blade to destroy it, and angrily shouted at Spider-Man, "Are you trying to murder me? I think you're not Spider-Man at all, you're Mosquito Man, Fly Man!!!"

Spider-Man somersaulted, scrambling out a metal spike that suddenly appeared beneath his feet, and said, "What? What do you mean 'Fly Man'? I just like to talk, and I usually only talk to my friends!"

Just then, a voice suddenly rang out, making everyone breathe a sigh of relief: "That's right, you like talking to your friends, but unfortunately you have too many friends. The entire population of New York City is your friend."

"Adam?! You're finally here! We were almost at our breaking point! Of course, you could have come a little later, then you might not have seen your hated Spider-Man. What bad luck!" Wolverine sighed and said, "This is war, Adam. I know you've always hoped there would be no casualties, and even left yourself a bottom line of not killing, but it's impossible to avoid casualties on the battlefield, especially when the other side is determined to kill you."

Adam shook his head and said, "Damn it, has Magneto really gone mad? Or does he think that if I come, he'll at most put them in jail, so he's acting with impunity?"

Wolverine said, "I don't know what he's thinking right now, but Magneto and the Brotherhood are acting strangely today, and there seem to be quite a few unfamiliar faces. I wonder where Magneto found these people."

Adam glanced at the still fiercely fighting crowd, somewhat surprised, and then shouted, "Everyone, stop fighting!!!"

However, the Brotherhood mutants on the other side ignored Adam's orders, and after being forced back, they returned to the fray. This nearly cost some of those who had lowered their guard their lives, but being warriors, they quickly recovered and resumed fighting.

Adam, watching the ongoing battle, angrily said to Magneto, "Magneto, tell your men to stop! Give up this futile resistance! I've already reached the point where this battle cannot continue!"

Magneto chuckled self-deprecatingly and said, "Make my men stop? Heh, I can't do that!"

Adam seemed surprised that Magneto was so tough and had the courage to refuse him. This made Adam, who was already in a bad mood, instantly furious. He moved his feet and appeared in front of Magneto in an instant, grabbing Magneto's neck with one hand. His voice was deep and powerful because of his anger.

"Magneto, do you think I'm easy to bully just because I don't kill people? Do you think you've found my weakness?" As he spoke, Adam exerted a little force, instantly causing Magneto to turn red from suffocation. After a short while, Adam loosened his grip slightly and continued to lift Magneto into the air.

Magneto greedily inhaled the air, but coughed incessantly from the effort. However, upon hearing Adam again order him to stop his men from attacking, he said with a self-deprecating smile, "Haha, even if you kill me, it won't stop them. Of course, if you choose to kill me, I'll be very happy!"

Adam clearly hadn't expected Magneto to be so tough, which made him wonder if he had made a mistake by treating people gently all along and trying his best to control his anger, allowing these people to challenge his bottom line time and time again.

Adam coldly said, "Don't worry, I think my father swore never to kill anyone, so I won't kill you, but I can make you wish you were dead!" After saying that, he reached out and grabbed Magneto's hand, preparing to punish Magneto.

Just then, a woman's voice rang out: "Stop! You've misunderstood!"

Adam turned around and saw Mystique running towards him. She was the one who had just shouted "Stop!" This puzzled Adam. Had he misunderstood something?

Mystique breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Adam stop, and quickly said, "Superman, you've misunderstood. It's not that Magneto didn't want to order those people to stop, it's just that it was completely ineffective!"

Adam paused for a moment, then said, "What do you mean? Isn't Magneto in charge of the Brotherhood now? This joke doesn't seem so funny."

Mystique sighed and said, "That's right, you're right. Magneto isn't in charge of the Brotherhood of Mutants anymore. Those guys have joined the Ten Rings, so you, Magneto, can't control them at all."

Adam looked at Magneto, whose face was full of despair and resentment, and threw him on the ground, saying, "It's really unbelievable. When Adam reappeared before Wolverine and the others, not a single member of the Brotherhood of Mutants remained standing on the battlefield, except for those on the X-Men's side.

As for Wolverine, he usually stays at the Academy unless there's an emergency. In his words, the true hero makes his appearance last. Um, just to clarify, Wolverine has recently become somewhat fascinated with Japan. He claims he might have been there and hopes to find some clues missing from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files. So don't be surprised by his occasional chuunibyou (delusional) moments.

It seems we've started gossiping again. Well, after the four of them brought Magneto and Mystique back to the base, Adam put a bracelet-shaping device on Magneto and Mystique's arms, and then quickly took out a white cloth from the side and wrapped it around Mystique's body after she lost her mutant abilities.

Mystique was completely bewildered. Looking at her arms, which had turned white, she asked, "What's going on?"

Spider-Man tilted his head and looked at Magneto. He said, "Perhaps this old man is possessed by an evil spirit."

Upon hearing this, Vanguard clapped his hands and said, "That's right, we should examine his brain."

Upon hearing this, Wolverine said, "That's impossible. Magneto always wears this helmet, how could he be controlled by someone?"

Adam squinted and said, "It might not be control, but a form of suggestion. And don't forget, Magneto only got the helmet recently. His encounter with the Mandarin might have happened before he got the helmet."

Vanguard looked at Spider-Man and laughed, "Looks like you finally said something right today."

Spider-Man chuckled and said, "Right? I told you you guys should let me have more opinions. Look at what happened during the previous battles and what's happening now, that's good evidence."

As Adam listened to the two bantering, he said to Athena, "Athena, scan Magneto's brain and see if there is any special energy present."

Adam frowned and said, "An illusion? What do you mean?"

Adam looked at Athena and asked, "So?"
