Hearing Obadiah Stane's sarcastic tone, Adam frowned and said, "Sorry, I just have something urgent to tell Tony and don't want to wait down there any longer."

Tony's emotions exploded instantly. He said, "Yeah, you can come see me anytime you want. No appointments, no notifications, you just walk in, say a few words, and leave. What do you take me for? Your brother, one of your employees? Or a beggar on the street you can give alms to?"

Adam said with some guilt, "Tony, I'm sorry, you misunderstood. You know I don't see you that way. You're my brother, I could never see you like that. I've been a little irritable lately because of what I told you. I'm sorry, I came here today to explain."

Tony said impatiently, "But I don't want to see you today, so if you've finished speaking, please leave. Of course, if you don't leave, I will!"

"No, we're not brothers, and you're not Father's son. You're just someone he picked up from outside. We have nothing to do with each other, so please don't bother me!" Tony, increasingly annoyed, blurted out the words, immediately regretting them, but his pride wouldn't allow him to apologize.

Tony's words dealt Adam a heavy blow. He stared blankly at Tony and said, word by word, "What did you say? We're not brothers? You really think so?"

Tony said coldly, "That's right, that's what I think. When I was cleaning out the old house, I found my father's diary, which recorded your origins. It's obvious that you're not the illegitimate child that the rumors say, but someone who was picked up from outside!"

Adam fell silent, staring in disbelief at the familiar yet unfamiliar face before him.

"What? Tony, you can't joke about something like this. You actually saw evidence that Adam isn't your eldest son?" he asked impatiently.

Pepper, somewhat displeased, said, "Mr. Stan, this might just be Tony's angry outburst, and it's their private matter; we shouldn't interfere."

Obadiah Stane shook his head and said, "No, how could this be a private matter? This is a major issue concerning Stark Industries. Tony, say something, are you telling the truth?"

Tony looked at Adam, who stood lifeless in front of him, and felt a pang of sadness. But thinking of the negotiations with the military that morning, he turned away with a cold face and said, "Yes, it's true. I have evidence. It was written by my father himself!"

Adam murmured, "Tony, do you really hate me that much? Did I really make such an unforgivable mistake?"

Tony carried Adam on his back, his mind filled with memories of the past. The beautiful memories flashed by quickly, but what came to mind were the recent events: the arguments, the times he was misunderstood and unappreciated, and the attitude of the military representative he met today—"We wouldn't have come to you if it weren't for your good brother"—which caused Tony to explode instantly.

Adam was slightly taken aback. He said, "Sorry, something happened and I was flying around randomly, I don't know where I am. What happened?"
