The focus of this story is on people, not on any particular person, but solely on Gu and Qiu.

That is what we call nostalgia.

Using "nostalgia" as a name is certainly strange, so I have always tried to avoid using it to avoid causing confusion when reading.

In other words, my goal in writing this book was always to take a lighthearted approach, hence the protagonist is a person who loves to laugh, tease young girls, and is carefree.

Unfortunately, when I focused too much on the main character, the plot ran into problems, which is why I would occasionally stop updating without saying a word.

Fortunately, I am quite satisfied with Gu Yuqiu. In a sense, this is the kind of lifestyle I like best.

She may seem cold, but she is actually gentle. She dislikes the idea that with great power comes great responsibility, yet she understands the logic behind it. Therefore, she is cautious about her own strength.

I think people like that are great. They drift away from the world, stay in their own little world, learn to entertain themselves, and they can live a good life.

I'm so envious.

I will probably continue to write books, because there are things I want to say but haven't finished saying. Even if those things aren't necessarily likable, I can just give them a makeover, right?

So why should I persist?

It's probably because I'm scared.

Fifty is half a lifetime, twenty-five years of life.

At this point, and having finally found something I enjoy doing, what if I give it up...?

I don't think I want to live like that.
