The two had originally agreed that one would carefully navigate the route while the other could follow the guide—they could exchange a lot of information using concise language without making any mistakes.

The first two levels are: pass one level and don't need to spend too much energy to break through the traps in the other level, then switch characters in the next level.

However, the swamp we just passed was not a place where we could give our teammates a guide.

What they had to do wasn't avoid the traps, but find a passage through a dense network of them—and this passage itself wasn't safe either; the traps it passed through were only relatively weaker and not that difficult to traverse…

"Which college are the two people behind us from?"

While the two were recovering their strength, this question suddenly came to mind.

"Slytherin's!"

The two men, who had been resting against the wall, suddenly became excited, their eyes revealing an ambiguous glint...

"These traps look good... but... there aren't enough?"

"Hmm, it seems the professors don't have a preference for using dung balls..."

The two chatted happily, as if the fatigue from their arduous journey through the swamp had been swept away by some magical spell.

The seventh graders, who were responsible for keeping an eye on the students to prevent accidents, hesitated for a long time while watching the two who were busy setting up traps, but still couldn't find anything wrong with them.

In less than a few minutes, the confident and satisfied couple left the swamp area and began their journey to the next region.

……

"How's your hair, my dear brother?"

"Half of it burned, what about you?"

"His right eyebrow is gone; he'll probably have to go see Mrs. Pomfrey later."

The two, who were full of confidence, are now burning up and are realizing for the first time just how destructive fire can be—the fifth graders naturally had no protection, since their self-defense skills would be considered adequate after the OWLS exam.

The two men experienced firsthand the importance of protection that William had always emphasized.

"It's not just the Bubble Charm... we should also study Transfiguration properly..."

"If we could use Clear Water to conjure enough water and form it into a shield, the mechanism we just worked on wouldn't have been so difficult..."

This method is entirely feasible, but they can't do it. It's like how everyone knows that if you store enough gold in Gringotts, you can earn a hundred or even more Galleons every day—but even among pure-blood families, very few have that much wealth.

"Have you rested enough?"

"Okay, what about you?"

"Same here. Hopefully, we can work together better than the trolls... You won't hold me back, will you, George?"

Fred made a not-so-funny joke, then quickly moved forward.

The one on the far left—this is the opponent they just agreed upon: focus fire on one giant monster to take it down, and then coordinate their attacks.

In less than half a minute, the two of them reached the very center at the same time.

The room was raised high and brightly lit—the fully open ceiling made it easy for the troll to deliver a powerful blow to the student while also allowing sunlight to stream in.

"This is really bright..."

“However, those guys don’t look very friendly…” The two said as they picked up their wands and began casting spells on the troll on the far left.

It was twelve feet tall, with dull, gray skin like granite, and its huge, clumsy body looked like a giant pile of pebbles topped with a small head the size of a cocoa bean.

The two had only seen this kind of thing in pictures—because of its smell, few professors would actually put this thing, which could make people feel nauseous for three or four days, in the classroom.

Eye-Binding Curse and Barrier Curse flew out simultaneously, but none of them had time to check the results. They subconsciously cast even stronger armor curses on themselves and kept moving to the right.

Even so, they didn't stop talking.

"What the hell? Didn't Ron brag for six months that he knocked one out? Why is this thing so big?"

They always thought Ron was exaggerating when he said twelve feet, but the kid couldn't even brag properly.

"It's heartbreaking... I'd rather he lied about some things..."

Naturally, you missed and even angered it—the troll's head is a vital spot, but it's too small; you'll have to be incredibly lucky.

The wooden stick made a loud whistling sound, which could be clearly heard even through the Bubble Head Curse, but that was all.

"Except your weapons!"

Two disarming spells were fired simultaneously, striking the nearest troll's club and sending it flying backward, slamming it into the mud wall and leaving a deep mark—to prevent the students from being seriously injured by being slammed against the wall, William and his team had made the wall less solid, and of course, the trolls were thus taught a lesson about not getting close to the wall.

However, this had nothing to do with the twins. As the stick slipped from their hands, the two almost simultaneously struck the giant stick with a levitation spell. With perfect coordination, it spun again and made a loud noise before sweeping heavily across the troll's head.

"boom!"

A dull thud echoed as the high-speed wooden stick delivered a painful lesson to its original owner.

But the twins didn't let up. As before, one of them kept one end still while the other controlled the other end of the stick to move at high speed, directly lashing the evil stick at the second unfortunate victim.

At this point, the third giant finally realized—as explained in many books, they were both stupid and clumsy.

The high-speed wooden stick was blocked by the raised wooden stick, making a not-so-crisp sound, and then it brought down the third giant.

"Snoring..."

It crashed heavily to the ground, making a sound that was difficult to decipher.

The last giant paused for a moment, then dropped the stick and clutched its head.

These are not cute—they are enormous, and when they crouch down and cover their heads, they look like a garbage dump full of rotting matter.

"Ooh!"

The twins cheered, then bumped their bottoms together—and then started to dislike each other.

"Just knock them out!"

The two raised the massive weapon with their wands again, but a familiar voice suddenly rang out.

"Alright, the assessment is over, they've all surrendered!"

Percy's voice came, followed by two spells cast almost simultaneously, knocking down the still-conscious giant.

"You went too far... We still need to help them wake up and prepare for the next test..."

Percy observed the troll, complaining as he casually summoned two flying brooms from where he was hiding behind him.

"Congratulations—fly away now, you've passed the test."

Overjoyed, the two took the brooms and soared into the sky, facing the sunlight.

After the two figures appeared, a huge cheer erupted from below—they weren't blasted away!

"I feel like we've been given the runaround..."

Recovering from the initial shock of victory, Fred looked at his brother and communicated with his eyes.

George also came to his senses. "Percy seems more concerned about the trolls..."

"It seems correct..."

But the cheers from below were so strong, it was no lie.

"Let's go!"

The two shook their heads and flew directly downwards.

Chapter 354 The Assessment Ends

'Someone else flew out?'

The Ravenclaw student in charge of statistics glanced at it, then realized something was wrong and looked up again.

'It's a broom!'

He confirmed it.

Other students who had been waiting for a long time finally saw someone fly out.

The Gryffindors cheered immediately. The two streaks of red hair in mid-air were so conspicuous that it made it easy to identify the flyer.

Although it took a long time, they were the first students to fly out on their own!

Okay, the first pair, no… the lions were a little unsure how to describe it, but that certainly didn’t stop them from standing up and cheering for their own academy’s students.

Harry jumped up to cheer on his teammates.

"That's fantastic! They're amazing!"

Harry even hugged Ron, and his enthusiasm startled Ron.

“They’re great, but… come on, you’re acting like it’s their first time bringing glory to the academy.”

Ron looked at Harry curiously, "You forgot, you guys just won the Quidditch Cup not long ago!"

...

Harry paused for a moment—then realized that this was the first time he had watched the twins return home with honor from the stands, which was why he was acting this way…

In fact, their superb Quidditch skills earned the Academy far more points than they lost. This wasn't the first time they had received cheers and applause in glory. On their brooms, the two made a celebratory gesture before steadily bringing the brooms to a stop beside William and Lupin's table.

Their brooms flew back on their own, but the two were no longer focused on them.

"Professor, we got full marks, right?"

"of course."

William nodded—although the two of them didn't get the stone ball and had to sneak all the way to the finish line, wasting a lot of exam time, they still got full marks according to the scoring rules.

"You did a great job."

William stood up with a smile, then took two bags from the table and handed them to the two brothers.

With a wave of his wand, a beautiful firework burst in the air, and the next moment, William's amplified voice resounded throughout the entire venue.

"The first and second place finishers have been determined: Fred Weasley and George Weasley of Gryffindor! Congratulations to them!"

Applause and cheers erupted again from Gryffindor, and even Professor McGonagall's expression softened.

“Alright,” William said, withdrawing his amplification magic and looking at the two of them. “Go and rest. From today until the exam, you don’t need to hand in any homework.”

The two tried to show that I didn't really like this kind of thing, but in the end I couldn't help but laugh and had to say goodbye and leave in a hurry.

"It's unbelievable that these two troublemakers got full marks for first and second place."
