'Should we wake him up?'
The two exchanged glances.
"No way, even though I gave my roommate a discount yesterday, he still bought a whole gallon worth of stuff. It wouldn't be good to wake him up."
The two reluctantly got out of bed and went to the lounge chairs.
"How did we fall asleep?"
"After all, they didn't drink the potion; they just resold it all..."
George sighed and replied, "There's absolutely no hope for FLORS."
“I wasn’t really expecting much anyway,” Fred encouraged himself. “Anyway, I got the Gallon for real. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen so many Gallons at Christmas!”
"Yes, a wonderful Christmas, a wonderful Galon."
George pulled the little darting items out of his pocket, letting them dance nimbly between his fingers. "With these, we can experiment with our ideas—but speaking of which, what exactly is this grand plan we came up with while wearing the crown?"
“Who knows? We can’t just wear it all over again, can we?” Fred stretched out his arms. “If we wear it again, not to mention whether the professor will agree, if we lose our memory again, we’ll probably see our angry mother at the end of the semester.”
The two couldn't help but shiver, exchanged glances, and decided to change the subject.
“This is the first time I’ve seen it this quiet on Christmas, Fred. I bet they wouldn’t believe me if I wrote to them about it—” George gestured to the empty chairs around them, “Even Professor McGonagall wouldn’t think this is the house’s common room. It wouldn’t be this quiet even if you were throwing a dung bomb…”
"Exactly! Everyone barely ate lunch and then went to sleep. I think they'll sleep until evening..."
Fred spoke, but didn't hear a response from George—when he turned his head, he found George already asleep in the rocking chair.
"Well," he shrugged, leaned his head back, and drifted off to sleep.
-
"I feel like I could eat an elephant."
"Me too."
Harry and Ron woke up one after the other when it got dark. After wondering if it was still the early hours of the morning, they finally got up driven by hunger and prepared to attend the Christmas party.
"Honestly, Ron, I don't want to watch any of this nonsense. I just want to eat a big plate of food and then go back to sleeping."
Harry put on his sweater and then saw a pile of stuff under Ron's bed.
"What's that, Ron?"
"What?!" Ron glanced at it and exclaimed, "A present! Good heavens, it's Christmas today!"
With his shout, Harry also came to his senses—they had been so busy lately, rushing to read books every day, completely obsessed with that bottle of Felix Felicis, that they had completely forgotten about Christmas.
Especially last night, because they were told they could cheat, the two of them spent the whole night researching cheating methods and forgot everything else.
"We got it as soon as we got back? Or was it brought here while we were asleep?"
Harry asked Ron, and he also started to think about it—but he had no memory of it at all. After finishing his lunch without tasting anything, he went back to the house with Ron and went to sleep. He had completely forgotten what happened in between.
“I’m doomed,” Ron said, his face filled with despair. “I forgot to get Mom a present…”
Harry felt a little guilty, but he had forgotten about it.
He glanced at the time and realized it was six o'clock.
“Ron, it’s too late to buy gifts, we have to resort to this last resort…” He quickly got up and started rummaging through the gifts. “Come help me, carefully open the gifts, exchange them, and then ask Hedway to deliver them.”
"Exchange gifts?"
"Yes, I've seen it in Muggle schools before. Some people receive so many gifts that they don't have enough budget to buy more, so they have to exchange the gifts before giving them away."
Harry began to carefully unpack the package, while Ron was still in shock at this operation he had never heard of before.
"Wait a minute, buddy, use the wand!"
Ron pointed to Harry's wand. "I'm not coming. It wouldn't be good if that thing broke something."
"Okay, you fold the packaging and then prepare the cards."
Harry put on his wand and began packing quickly.
Just as the two were working together enthusiastically, there was a knock on their dormitory door.
The two exchanged a glance. Ron went to open the door, carefully using his body to shield Harry from view.
"Oh, Fred, George, what's going on here?"
“My dear brother, we have something important to discuss—” The twins looked at Ron, who opened the door, with an odd stance. “Harry is here too, isn’t he?”
"We're all here."
Ron blocked the door tightly, preventing his two brothers from seeing what was happening inside.
“There are some things we need to discuss. Let us in, Ron.” George tilted his head and looked at his brother. “It’s an important decision. We’ve already gathered a lot of people together, even Percy has agreed.”
"Percy?"
Ron exclaimed in surprise, inadvertently revealing Harry, who was transferring the gifts.
“Harry, I’m so glad you’re here—ouch!” Fred cried out in pain. “We’d better hurry, I’m afraid I’ll have to go to the hospital to see Madam Pomfrey later…”
"You're unwrapping and repackaging gifts too, Harry?"
George tilted his head and immediately guessed what Harry was going to do.
"also?"
“Of course.” George nodded in a strange manner. “Last night, for some special reason, we got our hands on the list of all the students staying on campus. After everyone slept all afternoon today, we collectively discovered a problem.”
"Because of Felix Felicis, we seem to have completely forgotten that today is Christmas, and we should be giving out presents..."
Fred chimed in, “We have no problem with how to handle the gifts, but everyone agrees that Hogwarts was hit by a blizzard today that collapsed the owlhouse, so the owls went on strike and it’s only now that things have returned to normal.”
"This excuse looks like something you two made up!"
Ron said loudly.
"Of course, otherwise do you think just anyone can find a story like that?"
George raised his head, but then moved his neck—the two of them had gotten stiff necks from sleeping in the rocking chairs.
"But who can you fool?"
“If all the students who stay at school say so, then it must be true, my dear brother. We’re fourth year, and we’ve been playing pranks at Hogwarts for over three years, so we’re quite experienced in this.”
Fred nodded. "We only told you because we saw you were busy with gifts too. Otherwise, we would have had to test you. Remember not to give anything away."
The two nodded in an odd gesture. "There are still two students. The school hasn't started flying owls yet. We're going to inform them. See you at dinner."
The two disappeared in a flash, much to the astonishment of Harry and Ron.
“A blizzard, and the owls went on strike—” Ron said with a strange expression. “Now I finally understand why they’ve been locked up for so long.”
“Alright, Ron, that’s enough, we need to get to work,” Harry called out to him. “By the way, Hedway, please, just pretend to be sick today, that way I can use that excuse.”
Hedwig, who was waiting for his work, looked confused...

"Is tonight's dinner party this lavish?"
William stepped out of his office and noticed that the walls had been well-maintained—apparently the elves hadn't rested while he was working and had given the castle a thorough cleaning.
'By the way, will it just be Professor Lockhart and me again for Christmas?'
It's supposed to be the New Year, so why isn't Dumbledore showing up at the banquet?
Thinking of this, William suddenly felt a chill run down his spine—when he broke into the lounge, he was only thinking about getting rid of the teachers and students on campus, and he never thought that the principal or Professor McGonagall might come back to spend the New Year with the students.
'I was careless. I made this plan thinking it was just a regular holiday. Luckily, it went smoothly. If we had been blocked in the lounge, there would have been no point in saying anything.'
However, after thinking about it for a moment, William felt that he wouldn't be blocked.
It's a school rule that the headmaster doesn't enter the common room. The original head of Gryffindor wasn't Professor McGonagall, but Dumbledore. Unless something urgent happens, Professor Snape is the only one who enters the Slytherin common room.
'Thinking that Professor Snape will be working overtime during the holidays is just wishful thinking...'
William immediately relaxed and hummed a little tune as he walked toward the auditorium.
'By the way, shouldn't we remove that exam paper special effect? It's scary to have it snowing heavily on Christmas night...'
With that thought in mind, he pushed open the auditorium door and then froze.
Merry Christmas, Professor William!
Inside the restaurant, Dumbledore's smile appeared in William's eyes from a great distance.
"Merry Christmas, Professor."
Having at least prepared himself mentally, he still managed to react, even though Dumbledore's smile appeared rather abruptly.
“Thank you for the gift, Professor William,” Dumbledore said, sitting there. “I must admit, those new flavors of candy are the best I’ve had all year.”
I stole it from Adams!
That was the best work from his club, and I was planning to save it to enjoy later!
William wouldn't have given away his treasured possessions if he hadn't been without a gift—not even to Dumbledore!
William felt a bit resentful when the topic of those gifts came up, but he ultimately held back.
"Well, Professor, to be honest, I didn't expect you to come back when I woke up this morning."
“I wasn’t planning on coming back, but according to my intelligence, there was a blizzard at Hogwarts, so I came back to see if any buildings had been damaged.” Dumbledore took a small sip of eggnog. “But when I got back, I found that the school was perfectly fine, with no signs of a blizzard at all.”
"Blizzard?"
William paused for a moment, then began to think—there was some snow yesterday, but if it was all a blizzard, that would be too far-fetched, wouldn't it?
There wasn't one today either—did I get the timeline wrong?
Or have I traveled through time again?
Or rather, what strange ritual did Blizzard perform to alter the timeline?
William couldn't help but worry. He knew about the existence of the time-changer, although he had never used it himself, some students actually had one.
Anything can happen depending on the time frame.
"You even changed the time to cheat on the exam?"
William roared inwardly…
