"Oh? This demon is that powerful?"

Lü Ci pursed his lips.

He wanted to see for himself whether his Ruyi skill was something to be taken lightly.

"Of course it's very powerful. Our Gao family member possesses the Hundred-Legged Immortal, one of the Five Outer Immortals. After being injured, he almost didn't recover."

If it weren't for the intervention of Second Master Liu Huajiao, that young man from the Gao family would have almost died a violent death.

Gao Xiang nodded in agreement.

"It looks very dangerous."

Lü Ren also touched his chin.

He didn't know that he was killed by Eita.

However, with Chen Yuan's arrival, the timeline has obviously changed.

On the other side, in Guangzhou.

"Brother Mu Xuan, your Trinity's reversal of life is truly amazing, I've lost!"

Liu Shuang bowed and readily admitted defeat.

This triple rebirth technique is truly a unique skill unparalleled in the world.

"Brother Liu Shuang, you're too kind. I was just a little lucky."

Li Muxuan said modestly.

Compared to the unruly "bad boy," Li Muxuan, after entering Trinity and being trained by Zuo Ruotong, has become much more humble after the timeline changed.

"It's really amazing."

Cao Xian stroked his chin.

His azure flames could indeed burn through Ni Sheng's defenses, but the consumption of the azure flames was too great.

After all, the Golden Fire Divine Power is already quite difficult, and the Azure Fire is even more so, making it a secret technique of their Fire Virtue Sect.

the other side.

"Brother Liang, we meet again."

Wu Gensheng said with a chuckle, as he was fiddling with a pistol.

He asked a disciple of Quanxing to help him get this.

"Hehe, you wanted to see me about something?"

Liang Ting glanced at Wu Gensheng and snorted.

He naturally didn't have much affection for Wugensheng; the guy was rather annoying.

However, this kid's spiritual power is indeed very magical.

His dark, supple bones were actually restrained when they encountered this guy's divine spirit.

"Why does the sect leader want to see this jinx?"

Gu Qiting was somewhat speechless.

"This guy is really scary!"

Xia Liuqing also felt a sudden jolt in her heart.

"What a terrifying person."

Mei Jinfeng was also secretly thinking about it.

"Of course I'm here to help you, Brother Liang. Have you ever heard of the Hehua Zizai Tianmoshu?"

Wugensheng said with a smile.

"Otherworldly Beings?"

Liang Ting narrowed his eyes slightly.

Buddhism divides the world into three realms: the Desire Realm, the Form Realm, and the Formless Realm. The Desire Realm has six heavens, hence it is also called the "Six Desire Heavens," characterized primarily by pleasure and desire. The Six Desire Heavens, from lowest to highest, are: the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings, the Trayastrimsa Heaven, the Yama Heaven, the Tusita Heaven, the Nirmanarati Heaven, and the Paranirmitavasavartin Heaven. The sixth heaven, the highest being the Paranirmitavasavartin Heaven, is ruled by a demon king who, without needing to experience pleasure himself, descends to the heavens to manifest as others, enjoying the pleasures of others. Mara is the chief demon of the Desire Realm in Buddhist stories; he likes to hinder Buddhist practitioners, always attempting to obstruct their spiritual journey through temptation and coercion.

Could this rootless, self-generating demonic spell of the Paranirmitavasavartin be related to the Paranirmitavasavartin?

"Hehe, Brother Liang, that's right. This Paranirmitavasavartin Mantra is related to Paranirmitavasavartin. This mantra can allow people to enter the inner world."

Wugensheng said with a smile.

Mara, the demon king in the realm of Tathagata, can tempt people into falling into desire.

The Paranirmitavasavartin heaven, corresponding to the demon Mara, is a demon king who makes fun of leading others to indulge in pleasure. In Buddhist stories, this demon king's pleasure lies in hindering others' spiritual practice. The Paranirmitavasavartin mantra corresponds to the Desire Realm heaven where this demon king resides. In the context of the story, once this mantra is recited, a person will be passively drawn into an inner vision and enter a state where their desires are fulfilled, thus becoming immersed in pleasure. This is an extreme test of the practitioner's mental state.

It is easy for people to become lost in inner worlds.

He naturally wanted to see if Liang Ting was capable of doing it.

Entering the state of "Otherworldly Freedom Mantra" is equivalent to entering the inner realm, or more simply, becoming immersed in it. When cultivating, extraordinary individuals engage in meditation, which is divided into four stages: joy arising from detachment, joy arising from concentration, subtle joy arising from detachment, and purity of mind. Upon entering the third stage, the state of subtle joy arising from detachment, one experiences the pleasure brought by stillness, which is very similar to the inner realm. The inner realm, as a unique spiritual world, allows one to act freely within it. However, once one becomes immersed in this pleasure, one enters a state of greedy meditation.

Chapter 564 The Drawbacks of Reversing Directions! (Two Chapters Combined)

Inside a meditation room at Shaolin Temple.

"Old monk, is there something you need from me?"

A strange light flashed in Jie Kong's eyes, which were tinged with a faint red, and the perverted feeling on his face had not dissipated much.

After losing to Chen Yuan in the last Luo Tian Grand Ceremony, he naturally worked hard to cultivate.

He just didn't know why his master suddenly contacted him.

"Amitabha, Jiekong, something has happened in the Northeast. A demonic sword has appeared in the world. You should go and take a look."

Master Kongji slowly spoke, looking at Jiekong before him.

The demonic nature within this child has not yet dissipated; he still needs further training.

However, he knew that Jie Kong possessed innate wisdom, and that given some time, Jie Kong would surely achieve great enlightenment in the future.

This is also why he overcame all opposition and accepted the disciples of Jiekong.

The reason why Jie Kong was sent to Lingyin Temple for training was because Lingyin Temple is where Zen Master Daoji attained Buddhahood, so it naturally has special features.

After Jie Kong returned, he had clearly changed a lot.

"Northeast? Demon Blade?"

Jie Kong chuckled.

That's interesting!

He was incredibly bored at Shaolin Temple. Now that he had successfully mastered the Formless Finger Technique, one of the 72 Shaolin Arts, he could finally find someone to test his skills against.

It would be even better if we could run into Chen Yuan and his group.

“Benefactor Chen, I have missed you so much. I have mastered the Formless Finger of Calamity, and my strength is much greater than before.”

Jie Kong secretly thought to himself.

"That's right, Jie Kong, are you willing to go?"

Kongji asked.

"Since it was you who said it, old monk, I naturally have no objection."

Jie Kong clasped his hands together, a strange smile curving his lips.

Moreover, going there might allow them to go on a killing spree.

He really wanted to kill people. If the old monk hadn't made him stay in the temple to cultivate his mind, he would have gone out and killed those evil people long ago.

After all, there are plenty of bandits and scoundrels in this chaotic world, and he has no qualms about killing them.

"Well then, go ahead and understand emptiness. Remember the Saha world. The so-called Saha world is about endurance. The world we live in is full of difficulties. Only by learning to endure can we transcend and reach the other shore."

Master Kongji spoke slowly.

Of course, he thought of Chen Yuan from the Luo Tian Grand Ceremony; this young friend was no ordinary person.

This young friend has also played a crucial role in Jie Kong's remarkable growth.

"I see."

Jie Kong pursed his lips.

He didn't believe in the Saha world or Buddhist teachings at all, even though he had learned a lot about them.

After all, he had personally witnessed many monks breaking their vows.

"Jiekong, do you know what the Four Dhyanas and Eight Samadhis are?"

Master Kongji shook his head slightly upon seeing Jiekong's expression.

"I know this naturally. The so-called four dhyanas, as the name suggests, refer to meditation. Contemplation in stillness is meditation. The first dhyana is the one that arises from detachment, joy, and pleasure with initial and sustained application of thought. The second is liberation, which is the realization of the meaning of meditation in extreme stillness. The third is equanimity, which is also the earliest translation of the concept of 'samadhi'."

"Old monk, why are you asking this?"

Jie Kong was getting impatient.

Why is this old monk suddenly bringing up such things?

"That's right, above the four dhyanas there are eight samadhis. Dhyana and samadhi are externally free from attachment and defilement, which is dhyana; internally clear and lucid, which is samadhi. The so-called external dhyana and internal samadhi is dhyana and samadhi being one."

Therefore, continuing practice based on the four dhyanas of the Form Realm leads to the four samadhis of the Formless Realm.

The boundless void is a 'vacuum world' where nothing exists, and insensitivity has no effect here; it is called the Saha realm. Based on the existence of this entire space, it is called the boundless void heaven.

The Boundless Realm of Consciousness is a higher level of spacetime than the Boundless Realm of Emptiness. To be precise, there is only time and no space. Even vacuum or space does not exist. It is a place where past, present, and future time converge. All the single-dimensional existence of time is reduced to the feeling of the mind. Therefore, this place is called the Boundless Realm of Consciousness.

The Realm of Nothingness is a level even higher, where even the dimension of time ceases to exist; nothing remains, yet consciousness still persists. One can still perceive the feeling of nothingness; this is the Realm of Nothingness.

Moving up another level, when even the feeling of 'nothingness' disappears, beings enter the Realm of Neither Perception Nor Non-Perception. Here, the existence of life and the universe is reduced to a single, subtle thought, entering a state of singular, fixed force. This is the highest spacetime of the Formless Realm, and the final realm of our Saha universe's three realms. It is an unimaginable existence, only barely describable as neither perception nor non-perception.

For us Buddhist practitioners, the ultimate goal is to reach this final level. Unfortunately, only a few succeed.

Master Kongji said calmly.

That was the meaning behind the Dharma name he gave Jiekong.
