Speaking of the Spirit King's organs, one cannot help but mention the Invisible Empire, where the Spirit King's heart and left arm are located.

"Aside from the matter of Senior Brother Jushiro..." Aozaki Mayuki snapped his fingers, "keep an eye on the Seireitei when you have time."

"Shadows?" Mayuri Kurotsuchi glanced around, then turned to Mayuki Aozaki. "What's in there?"

"The Quincy you've been longing for," Aozaki Mayuki replied with a smile.

"Do you think this joke is funny?" Mayuri Kurotsuchi asked, frowning.

This is the Seireitei, the central authority of the Shinigami (Death Gods). How could the Quincy possibly be here?

“Nine hundred years ago,” Aozaki Mayuki said to himself, “the great war between the Shinigami and the Quincy ended, but the Quincy were not wiped out. They built a space in the shadow of Seireitei.”

“Some of the Quincy who survived the war hid in this space and established a kingdom called the Wandenreich.”

"The war in which the Quincy invaded Soul Society?"

"Yes."

"But how do you know all this?"

"I have my own way."

"Shouldn't we have asked Kisuke Urahara about this?"

Mayuri Kurotsuchi completely ignored Mayuki Aozaki's smile.

"He's the captain of the Gotei 13. Shouldn't the safety of Seireitei be his concern?"

“I don’t want anyone else to know about this for the time being,” said Aozaki Mazuki.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi gave a strange, chilling smile. "Looks like there's something there that you're interested in..."

“You can understand it that way,” Aozaki Mayuki said nonchalantly. “I need you to find a way to enter the Shadow Realm.”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi gritted her teeth and said, "You bastard, do you think I'm your subordinate?"

“Isn’t that so?” Aozaki Mayuki raised an eyebrow. “Don’t forget my identity: advisor to the Technology Development Bureau. As the deputy director, you are below me. Strictly speaking, you are my subordinate.”

"Tsk, that wretched woman, Kiryu Hikifune," Mayuri Kurotsuchi muttered.

Aozaki Mayuki stood up, put her hand on his shoulder, and said warmly:

"Don't look so bitter and resentful. We can each get what we want."

“Those were Quincy who invaded Seireitei. You should also know how brutal that bloody battle was nine hundred years ago.”

"You know my strength; you need to rely on my power to fight against them."

As he spoke, Aozaki Mayuri released a slight amount of his spiritual pressure, allowing Mayuri Kurotsuchi to have a general understanding of his current strength.

"I'll only take what I want, and while I'm at it, I'll capture some Quincy for you to study. Those are pure-blooded Quincy."

A pure-blooded Quincy is indeed tempting...

But this guy's spiritual pressure has become truly terrifying!

Mayuri Kurotsuchi was startled, her eyes flashing as she said, "I promise you."

“The right decision.” Aozaki Mayuki nodded.

…………

The Thirteenth Division was built in the suburbs, and the stone-paved road along the river meandered towards the division's barracks.

Aozaki Mayuki was walking on the road leading to the 13th Division barracks. Birds were chirping in the ginkgo trees along the way, and pedestrians would occasionally pass by and greet him on the stone path along the river.

These pedestrians were all soldiers from various squads.

As the captain of the 11th Division, Aozaki Mayuki earned their utmost respect even though he wasn't part of the same division.

It is both a sign of respect for the strong and an affirmation of this approachable, gentle, and brave captain.

The 13th Division is located in the suburbs and is exceptionally large, but it lacks the luxury of the 2nd Division and the fighting arena of the 11th Division. Instead, it resembles a secluded retreat for quiet and elegant people.

The team's quarters are all in the style of traditional Japanese architecture, with multiple courtyards and pavilions arranged in a staggered manner. The faint fragrance gives people a sense of tranquility and leisure.

The entrance to the 13th Division was brightly lit, and the members of the division, dressed in Shinigami uniforms, welcomed him inside.

Aozaki Mayuki is quite famous in Bleach, especially as Yamamoto's disciple. During the rebellion, he defeated one captain-level powerhouse after another, and even has two dedicated fan groups within the Gotei 13.

This destined him to be quite famous in the Seireitei.

The guard, clearly aware of his arrival, respectfully took a step back, then bowed and said humbly:

"Lord Kenpachi Aozaki, the captain has been waiting for a long time."

The guard's voice wasn't loud, but even Death, with his exceptional hearing, heard it.

The gate, which had been tightly closed, slowly opened, and everyone in the courtyard turned to look at Aozaki Mazuki.

Aozaki Mayuki, who was being watched by them, showed no embarrassment whatsoever. He was already used to being the center of attention and could still accept being the center of attention with composure.

"It's Captain Shingetsu!" a girl exclaimed softly, her eyes sparkling.

The team members present all looked at Aozaki Maki in unison.

Although long-lived Shinigami have the opportunity to meet many handsome men and beautiful women throughout their lives, it is clear that Aozaki Mayuki is in a class of his own.

Among all the handsome men in Soul Society, Aozaki Mayuki is the most outstanding.

It can even be so that when you glance over, you will only notice Aozaki Mayuki, and neither the perfect nobleman Kuchiki Sojun nor the sickly Ukitake Jushiro can attract your attention.

Sometimes, it's not scary to be good-looking; what's scary is when good-looking people know they're good-looking.

Aozaki Mayuki was well aware of her strengths, and she confidently displayed her appearance in the face of so many people's gaze.

As Aozaki Mayuki entered the mansion, the courtyard behind him returned to its usual bustling atmosphere.

Thanks to Aozaki Mayuki's keen hearing, he could occasionally hear comments like, "Kenpachi-sama is so cool!" "Mayuki-sama just looked at me!" "I should have chosen the 11th Division!"

The corridors inside the mansion were deep and quiet. Although Jushiro Ukitake's status was not particularly noble, the decorations here still revealed the style of an aristocrat.

However, Aozaki Mayuki was not greeted by the capable member of the 13th Division, but by Kotetsu Isane, the vice-captain of the 4th Division.

"Yane, what are you doing here?" Aozaki Mayuki asked, somewhat puzzled, as Kotetsu Isane walked over.

"I've come to examine Captain Ukitake and also to see my sister," Kotetsu Isane said shyly, her big eyes practically darting around. "Please come with me; Captain Ukitake is at Amegakure."

"Is this really okay?" Third Seat of the 13th Division, Kotsubaki Sentaro, peered over the wall and said, "Your sister looks like she's about to faint."

"It has to be done. Feelings can't be hidden in your heart; they have to be shown to others."

The acting vice-captain of the 13th Division, Kiyone Kotetsu, also poked her head out.

"Otherwise, with her personality, she'll never be able to take that step in her life."

"But why do I feel sorry for your sister?" Kotsubaki Sentarou said, winking.

"You have to be strong, especially in times like these!" Kotetsu Kiyone raised her little fist, as if cheering on Kotetsu Isane. "Go for it, big sister!!"

Chapter 204 Bright Moon

The bright moon hung high in the sky, illuminating the 13th Division barracks.

"Oh dear, it's gotten dark before I knew it."

Looking at Aozaki Mayuki gazing at the bright moon in the sky, Kotetsu Isane's cheeks flushed, and she shook her head somewhat helplessly.

"Captain Shinzuki, it's getting late. Captain Ukitake must be getting impatient."

"There's nothing I can do about it. After all, it's Yongyin, and we've been chatting for so long without even realizing it."

As he walked to the entrance of Yuqian Hall, he sighed and said...

"This senior brother is really a handful. I'll be out soon."

"Yes, I'll be waiting for you at the door."

Shy Kotetsu Isane didn't even have the courage to look up, and only breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the wooden door close.

"How was it? Did you succeed?" As Aozaki Mayuki walked out of Amegakure, Kotetsu Kiyone rushed out from the corner.

Her eyes couldn't hide her excitement and joy. From the moment Aozaki Mayuki and Kotetsu Isane met, the journey from the barracks to Amegakure was only ten minutes, but they managed to walk for over an hour.

If Kotetsu Isane told her that she had failed, Kotetsu Kiyone would feel very bad.

However, she had no choice. It was already difficult enough to get her own sister to take the initiative this time, and she didn't know how much persuasion it would take to convince her again.

What troubles her most is that Kotetsu Isane is too indecisive, timid and introverted. Even when she has nightmares, she wants to run to her room to sleep together. This kind of personality is troublesome whether she is pursuing someone she likes or being pursued by someone she likes.

I really don't know what she will do without her younger sister!

However, Kotetsu Kiyone never expected that Aozaki Mayuki would also seem to like Kotetsu Isane.

Because of her height and way of speaking, she is often mistaken for a boy, and Yongyin has been teased by others more than once for this.

"Captain Shingetsu invited me to dinner tonight."

Kotetsu Isane squatted on the ground, her tone becoming soft and gentle.

Thinking of Aozaki Mayuki's gentle and generous demeanor, she realized that he was the kind of person she most wanted to be, just like Captain Unohana, unlike herself who was so timid and hesitant.

"Very good, then let's take down Captain Shingetsu today." Kotetsu Kiyone stroked Isane's head and said with a pained expression.

She understood that her sister had taken tremendous courage to do this.

Kotetsu Isane couldn't look her in the eye. "This...is too fast..."

“Good opportunities don’t come around every day, and today’s opportunity is hard-won!” Kotetsu Kiyone said without any room for doubt.

…………

"Junior brother, this is different from the agreed time, isn't it?" A calm male voice echoed in the room. "I've been waiting for ages!"

"Have you been waiting for me for a long time? This is not my fault, Senior Brother Shishiro. It's all Senior Brother Chunshui's fault for infecting me with his lazy habits, which is why I'm late!" said Aozaki Mazuki.

He didn't act like an outsider, sitting casually on the tatami mat.

"Your shameless personality is truly a direct descendant of Shunsui," Ukitake Jushiro muttered, lying on the ground.

“I never expected that Senior Brother Ukitake would say such harsh words.” Aozaki Mayuki helped Ukitake Jushiro up and sat him against the wooden wall.

“After all, I’m human too, and I can get angry too!” Jushiro Ukitake chuckled. “It’s just that this body doesn’t allow me to get angry.”

"Does Senior Brother Ukitake want to get better?" asked Aozaki Mayuki.
