This is a Scyther that has just reached the elite level. This Scyther has reached the elite level in its prime, and it is very likely the leader of a nearby Scyther clan.

The power and momentum of each of Scyther's slashes demonstrate that it is not just an empty shell with high skill levels, but a battle-hardened warrior.

To be honest, Su Hao was also slightly tempted when he saw such an excellent Scyther.

To put it bluntly, Su Hao was lusting after its body and wanted to tame it.

However, a battle is definitely needed before they can be subdued.

Su Hao called Little Diamond and headed towards the direction where the Scyther was.

Chapter 16 Ethnic Responsibility

The life of a flying praying mantis is very monotonous; besides foraging for food, it only cultivates itself every day.

As the newly appointed leader of his clan, Scyther knows that his own strength is not enough to protect the survival of his clan, so he must become stronger.

Scythers are accustomed to attacking with scythes on both hands, and their unique body structure makes them very adept at slashing attacks.

Today, for the Scyther, it was the same old monotonous slashing training.

Until an unexpected visitor disrupted the Scyther's peaceful daily life.

"Scyther, come and fight us!"

In Scyther's eyes, a human who is powerless and a Pokémon one level below it in strength challenging it is undoubtedly a reckless act.

However, since it hadn't been in a fight today, this human's request suited its needs perfectly.

Since this human is somewhat pleasing to the eye, let's not go after him and wipe him out completely.

Having made up his mind, the Flying Mantis raised its hands, its two gleaming scythe blades pointing directly at Su Hao and Little Diamond.

Seeing that the Scyther had accepted the challenge, Su Hao immediately commanded Little Diamond to unleash its attack.

"Use Reflect, then use Harden!"

Since the power of this Scyther's moves is still unknown, Su Hao, to be on the safe side, had Little Diamond strengthen its defensive capabilities first.

Seeing that Little Diamond was about to unleash its attack, Scyther didn't just stand there posing. Instead, it gently flapped its two pairs of wings and quickly flew towards Little Diamond.

A blinding white light quickly gathered on the scythe of the rapidly approaching flying mantis—it was a slashing attack!

Observing the rapidly approaching Scyther, Little Diamond didn't panic. After calmly completing the enhancements of Reflect and Harden, it didn't recklessly take the elite Scyther's attack head-on. Instead, it used its Primal Power to condense rocks around itself and shoot them at the Scyther.

The primal force tore through the void, forming a triangular pattern that blocked the flying mantis's path.

"Chamo!!!"

The Scyther, its path blocked by the primal force, roared and its gleaming white scythes unleashed several flashes of light, cleaving through the primal force before it.

Seeing that the Primal Force had been completely sliced apart by the Scyther, Su Hao, who hadn't said a word, immediately gave the order.

"Use the primal power once more to slow it down, then sharpen my edges to enhance my attack!"

"Hey hey!" (Got it!)

Little Diamond once again swiftly used its Primal Power to shoot at Scyther, and while Scyther was momentarily distracted, it used the Sharpening move to strengthen itself.

Using its combo attack, the Flying Mantis once again sliced through the Primal Power, transforming into a streak of white light. It then used Quick Attack to accelerate again, closing in completely on the Little Diamond.

It was still a series of consecutive slashes; the Scyther's scythe glowed with an emerald green light as it cleaved towards the small diamond.

"Bear the hits, then shoot it down!"

The Scyther's stacked combo, weakened by the Reflector, then slammed into the Diamond Smash.

Unfortunately, the scythe that could split trees could only leave a few deep white marks on the small diamond after its defenses were strengthened.

Scyther's combo attack did indeed deal effective damage to Smash.

But that's not enough!

We're still a long way from defeating the little diamond!

A loud "bang!" rang out.

The small diamonds that had withstood the attack coalesced into a huge rock, and the knockdown attack slammed into the Scyther, which was preparing to retreat after its attack.

The Scyther, hit by the knockdown attack, fell to the ground like a kite with a broken string.

After being hit by a move with a four-fold super weakness, Scyther was unable to get up for a while.

"I lost..."

The exhausted Scyther could hardly believe that its elite-level Pokémon had been defeated by a common-level Pokémon and a human.

Although incredulous, Scyther readily admitted its defeat.

"Well then, it's my turn."

Since Scyther has already conceded defeat, there's no need to continue the fight. Su Hao walked up to Scyther, half-squatted down, and looked directly into Scyther's eyes, saying:

"Want to become our partner? I can guarantee you'll become stronger."

Su Hao extended an invitation to Scyther to join the team.

Scyther and Su Hao's clear eyes met, Scyther's heart pounding wildly. In a moment of impulsiveness, Scyther almost agreed immediately, but then several figures suddenly appeared in Scyther's mind—

"Sorry, I can't join you."

Su Hao was somewhat surprised to be rejected by Scyther, but he wasn't annoyed. He tentatively asked Scyther a question.

Can you tell me why?

"Chamo...Chamo..." (I still have a family, my people need me, and as the chief, I must protect them. Although I really want to go with you, I'm sorry, I still have responsibilities.)

Knowing the reason, Su Hao didn't insist. He sighed slightly and said, "Alright, if you need any help later, just let me know. We can still be friends, right?"

"Hey hey~" (That's right, we're friends~)

Little Diamond also extended its goodwill to Scyther.

"Chamo!" (You're friends! You can come to the tribe to spar with me anytime!)

After befriending Scyther, Su Hao treated Scyther's wounds, said goodbye to the flying Scyther, and continued exploring the vicinity.

Chapter 17 Daily Life

Having finished a day of exploration, Su Hao had no intention of staying overnight in the secret realm.

Retrieve the small diamond, release the Growlithe and ride on its back, and quickly move to the vicinity of the secret realm exit guarded by Alliance personnel.

After passing through security, Su Hao stepped into the secret realm passage again, and in a flash, he returned to Yang City.

After returning home in a Steel Raven taxi, Su Hao, exhausted from the day, didn't care about himself.

First, Litten was released. Since Litten is a Cat+Fire type Pokémon, it doesn't like taking baths, so Su Hao had to use soft sand as a sand bath to clean the dust left behind after the battle.

After giving the Firefly a sand bath, Su Hao released Little Diamond and used a special tool to clean and polish Little Diamond's mineral body.

After enjoying the spa treatment from its trainer, the Pokémon instantly transformed from its dusty appearance into something brand new.

After finishing cleaning the two Pokémon, Su Hao took a relaxing hot bath in the bathtub at home.

"She's alive!"

Feeling refreshed after his bath, Su Hao whistled as he looked at his half-naked body in the mirror. Streamlined muscles covered his upright figure, exuding vitality.

Since awakening his Aura Power, Su Hao's already healthy body has grown stronger and stronger, with powerful strength hidden beneath his thin muscles.

After admiring his own physique, Su Hao changed into his pajamas, sat down at his desk, and began planning his subsequent training regimen.

First is Little Diamond. Currently, Little Diamond's overall strength is very comprehensive. Her ability to defeat the elite-level Scyther is also a testament to her strength.

If Little Diamond continues on its current path, it will grow into something very powerful.

Su Hao decided that from now on, he would mainly focus on training Little Diamond's energy control and move precision.

Next is Litten. Although Litten can currently outmaneuver its opponents with its agile body, its final evolution, Incineroar, is exceptionally gifted in terms of physical strength.

In the future, we should focus on training Litten's physical fitness to improve its overall health.

Special training can also be considered regarding the temperature of the flame, since the attack power of Fire-type Pokémon is largely related to the temperature and nature of the flame.

After finalizing the training plan, it was already 11 p.m.

The room, dimly lit by only a desk lamp, was quiet. Little Diamond, clutching a pink diamond, and the Fire-spotted Cat, nestled in its bed, were fast asleep.

Turning off the bedside lamp, the room was plunged into complete darkness. Su Hao groped his way to the bed in the dark and drifted off to sleep...

early morning.

The arrival of a group of uninvited guests added to the darkness of the Spiral Secret Realm at night.
