I don't know why, but in the Dragon Clan, they can kill those who attack them without any scruples, and the same goes for Under One Person. But here, they can't bring themselves to kill them. This is probably related to the fact that the attacker has been driven insane by Sadako.

Perhaps because of Reigen, he didn't want to be nagged by Reigen, nor did he want to become a bad example for Mob.

Lu Mingfei questioned one of them and learned that no one was injured, and that the fire seemed to have been caused by a problem with the wiring.

Reigen's studio is usually quite organized, so a fire is unlikely to have happened there. It's probably something like someone setting the fire out of anger and frustration.

He breathed a sigh of relief; at least Reigen was safe for now.

Sadako leaped out of the spirit storage bottle and landed on the ground. After receiving Lu Mingfei's orders, she rushed to the fire scene to search for Reigen's whereabouts while helping to put out the fire. Although burning her own workplace gave her a sense of exhilaration, Reigen was, after all, a good boss who treated his employees very well, and she felt sorry for him.

Lu Mingfei stood downstairs and released his senses; there were no superpowered individuals nearby.

The flames diminished at a visible rate until they disappeared completely.

Sadako's figure appeared beside Lu Mingfei.

"Found it," she reported briefly.

Before Lu Mingfei could respond, his phone rang. The caller was Ling Huan.

A suspicion arose in his mind: Could it be that Reigen was being used as a bargaining chip?

"Mr. Linghuan?" Lu Mingfei asked tentatively.

"It's me, Mingfei, how are you?" Reigen Shinryo's tone was calm, without the slightest panic.

"I'm fine. Where are you? Are you in danger? Is Mob with you?" Lu Mingfei asked three questions in a row after hearing that Reigen was only slightly nervous and that he was relatively safe.

“The extra is fine now. When I returned to the agency, I found it had been burned down. Members of the superpowered organization from before found me and told me that the headquarters’ revenge had begun. I’m in a relatively safe place now. You can come over.”

Reigen then gave the address.

This location is not remote; in fact, it's quite close to the city center.

Lu Mingfei thought to himself, "As expected of Linghuan, the more dangerous the place, the safer it is."

They immediately set off for Reigen's location.

People strolled freely under the night lights, children asked their parents for toys and snacks, couples snuggled together and whispered sweet nothings, and the elderly helped each other with their evening walks.

Everything seemed harmonious and normal, and ordinary people's lives continued as usual.

While Lu Mingfei was distracted, he arrived at the foot of a low-key high-rise building.

Standing outside, I could feel many familiar elements inside.

On the other side are the adult superpowered individuals who once kidnapped them, Sakura, who can create cursed toys, and Kwazan and others.

They were all gathered here because of the attack on headquarters, and were forced to unite as one.

The two groups of people faced each other in silence.

The blond-haired boy sat on the middle sofa, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

Lu Mingfei's arrival broke the silence and somewhat awkward atmosphere.

He saw the blond boy, Hanazawa Teruki, whom Mob had mentioned before, again. He glanced at the top of the boy's head a few times and saw that his thick hair showed no signs of being a wig; it must have grown back.

Hanazawa Teru felt an unpleasant gaze and an unfamiliar aura, then looked at the newcomer.

He had seen Lu Mingfei before and still remembered him. He recognized him at a glance, but felt that the other person's aura was like that of a different person. The aura that Lu Mingfei had previously exuded was aggressive, and even though he tried to restrain it, it still made people uncomfortable.

At this moment, Lu Mingfei not only lost his aggressiveness, but seemed to have become even stronger, closer to Mofu than him, yet another person stronger than him, further enhancing their security.

At this point, almost everyone had gathered, except for those who were difficult to contact.
