Each heaven is like the sands of the Ganges, bearing countless realms of living beings; even a glimpse of it seems capable of crushing the entire desolate world.

The four guardian deities resided in the four directions, while the White Bone Bodhisattva sat cross-legged in the center, his hands forming the Abhaya Mudra, and his cold face strangely exuded a sense of peace.

"The supreme supernatural power of Buddhism, the Thirty-Three Heavens!"

Luo Tian's expression changed slightly.

In the days leading up to this, in order to guard against the White Bone Bodhisattva's backup plan, Luo Tian specifically asked Yin Changsheng to collect some Buddhist stories and myths from this world, hoping to find some traces of the White Bone Bodhisattva.

Among the many myths, the most famous of the Buddhist guardian deities are the Thirty-Three Devas.

Strictly speaking, the Thirty-Three Heavens are not guardian deities, but rather worlds created by the Buddhas of the Three Worlds, inhabited by countless Buddhist kingdoms and the most powerful Dharma bodies of the Buddhist sects.

That supreme divine power of the Thirty-Three Heavens can intercept and manifest a portion of the power of the Thirty-Three Heavens.

Legend has it that some supreme beings who have attained Buddhahood can directly guide parts of the Thirty-Three Heavens to descend, and can even borrow the power of several World-Honored Ones among the Thirty-Three Heavens, deeply embodying the Buddhist principle of calling upon others when one cannot defeat them.

As for the four guardian deities who guided the descent of the Thirty-Three Heavens, Luo Tian deduced their identities based on the treasures they possessed.

"Eastern Dhritarashtra, Southern Virudhaka, Western Virupaksha, and Northern Vaishravana!"

These four are none other than the Four Heavenly Kings, who have appeared in myths across several generations.

Although the Four Heavenly Kings were brutally beaten by a monkey in Journey to the West, their actual rank was not low. They were known as the Four Guardian Kings, protecting the Eastern Continent, the Southern Continent, the Western Continent, and the Northern Continent.

Furthermore, they have another important identity: they are the guardian kings who protect the first level of the Thirty-Three Heavens. Even with great divine power, only four kings can be summoned to guide the descent of the Thirty-Three Heavens.

In the Thirty-Three Heavens, one of the deities gently played the pipa and chanted his true name.

"Namo Ratnacandraprabha Tathagata!"

The cool moonlight descended from the Thirty-Three Heavens, its purifying glow washing away the ominous crimson hue of the desolate world.

A turbulent upheaval swept through the desolate world, as if a terrifying, unseen giant was roaring in defiance against the purifying moonlight.

The other three divine generals had solemn expressions, among them the divine general holding the red dragon chanting the name of Buddha with a majestic expression.

"Namo Vairocana Buddha!"

Once again, light descended from the Thirty-Three Heavens, but this time the light transformed from the cool moonlight into the scorching rays of the sun.

The raging fire scorched the earth, and the radiance of the sun over the three thousand worlds was fully revealed. Under the combined light of the sun and moon, the entire desolate world began to show a sense of being torn apart.

Even Luo Tian couldn't help but twitch when he saw these four guardian deities again.

Finally, accompanied by a deafening roar, the land in the desolate world began to awaken.

As the continental plates collapsed, a colossal hand reaching for the sky emerged from the earth and crashed headlong into the thirty-three heavens where the sun and moon shone together.

"How dare you!"

The four guardian kings were filled with rage. Amidst their furious roars, the remaining two divine generals charged towards the colossal hand reaching for the sky, their magical treasures radiating brilliant light.

The sharp sword light tore through a large area of space and landed heavily on the Sky-Supporting Hand. Large swathes of Dao principles shattered under the sword light, and the huge Sky-Supporting Hand was almost pierced through by the sword.

Blood splattered, and the giant god buried deep underground roared angrily, breaking free from the blood-soaked, sky-reaching hand of the sword and clenching his fist, which slammed heavily into the two guardian heavenly kings.

With a wave of his hand, the Northern Heavenly King, holding a precious banner, caused a burst of light to bloom beneath the banner, with layers of precious light overlapping each other, as if evolving into a barrier of a vast world.

As the fist that seemed to support the heavens fell, a vast expanse of precious light shattered with a deafening roar, and the waves that surged in the void engulfed everything in all directions.

Several clearly visible cracks appeared on the banner, but it still managed to block the furious attack. The clear light still enveloped the heads of the Dharma Protectors, stabilizing them.

The Western Heavenly King, the Crimson Dragon, roared and in an instant transformed into a divine dragon a thousand miles long, charging towards the towering giant hand.

After being repeatedly provoked, the giants of the earth finally became enraged, and the ancient Titans were fully resurrected from the earth.

As its massive body slowly rose to its feet, it grabbed the roaring Thousand-Mile Divine Dragon with its palm. This dragon, which was a hundred times more terrifying than the Eight Tribulation Golden Immortal Ao Xing, was like a toy in the hands of the Titan God, and was directly slapped onto the ground.

The dragon didn't even have time to let out a wail before it was crushed by the almost inexhaustible force, its blood turning into a rain of blood that filled the sky.

Then, the giant god from Greek mythology, who once possessed the strength to support the heavens, was fully revealed between heaven and earth.

After manifesting, He did not attack the Dharma protectors or the White Bone Bodhisattva, but instead crashed directly into the Thirty-Three Heavens in the sky.

Atlas's hair and beard bristled, his blood surging, leaving deep furrows like lava on his robust body. The Titan's massive size was on full display at this moment.

Its enormous size left the four guardian kings no time to stop it, and the next second, the impact that enveloped the entire Tartarus engulfed the whole world.

The thirty-three heavens trembled violently under the impact of the Titan God. Above the heavens, where all living beings dwell, a great being seemed to be glaring angrily at the Titan God.

The wrathful form of the King of Light manifested, and his anger transformed into a great sun that enveloped the heavens. A Buddha appeared above the thirty-three heavens.

Behind him, the radiant light of the sun shone upon all the heavens and myriad realms, purifying everything within its reach. Laws, order, cause and effect, and time and space were all wiped out under that boundless light.

Even the colossal god that held up the sky melted away in the boundless radiance.

Then, the Buddha who manifested the great sun turned his gaze to the White Bone Bodhisattva. After taking a deep look at the holy, jade-like white skeleton, the Thirty-Three Devas trembled and broke away from Tartarus.

Compared to the thirty-three heavens that comprise countless worlds, Tartarus seemed like an insignificant prison; the collisions between worlds easily crushed Tartarus.

Space collapsed, order crumbled, and with the departure of the Thirty-Three Heavens, the wildly surging earth, water, wind, and fire transformed everything into chaos.

In the center of the desolate land, the White Bone Bodhisattva's face showed neither joy nor sorrow.

From the very beginning, the White Bone Bodhisattva had no intention of defeating Tartarus with his own power. His purpose was to guide the thirty-three heavens to descend and use the entire foundation of Buddhism to crush this desolate and barren world.

Amidst the destruction of the collapsing world, the White Bone Bodhisattva, with his hands forming the Fearless Mudra, chanted:

"Everything has its own form, like a dream, a bubble, a shadow, like dew, like an illusion..."

As the great voice resounded, the chaotic turmoil gradually subsided, and earth, water, wind, and fire returned to stability.

The White Bone Bodhisattva rose from the void and stepped out into the collapsing chaos.

With a single step, accompanied by a flash of light, the White Bone Bodhisattva once again stepped onto the ground.

The soul fire in its eye sockets looked around, and the next moment, the originally raging soul fire suddenly shrank to the size of a soybean. Unprecedented horror and fear erupted from the White Bone Bodhisattva.

In this world He set foot in, there was a stark red wasteland, just as He had seen before.

Looking up at the sky, those eyes, full of condescension, were still watching Him, as if He had never left their gaze.

A smile played on Luo Tian's lips as he spoke softly, in a voice only he could hear:

"The Eighty-One Causes of Tartarus' Destruction—The Ouroboros in an Endless Cycle!"

Chapter 308 The Cause of World Destruction!

The cause of the eighty-one world-ending events was the power possessed by Tartarus, the god of hell.

When Luo Tian first took control of Tartarus, he used the Purifying White to restart Tartarus, pressing the second-generation Greek god, Ronos, who wanted to rise from the dead, back into his coffin.

However, when Luo Tian first took control of Tartarus, he didn't have much of a concept of the eighty-one causes of world destruction, so he naturally assumed that Tartarus's power to destroy the world was like the White Purifier, which was biased towards extreme destruction.

It wasn't until he tricked the White Bone Bodhisattva into a trap that Luo Tian realized the unique nature of the second cause of world destruction he had encountered.

Once the infinite loop of the Ouroboros is activated, the entire Tartarus will be in a state of endless repetition.

No matter what the prisoners in Tartarus do, Tartarus will forcibly repeat the previous traces, leading to countless identical endings.

The beginning and end of an event are like the two ends of a snake, connected head to tail, and the ending of an infinite cycle is usually predetermined from the beginning.

In the endless cycle of meaninglessness, the whole world loses its original meaning. In this process, even suicide will restart the corresponding origin, and even death is a luxury.

Even a great divine power like that of the White Bone Bodhisattva could not find a way out of the endless cycle of the Ouroboros.

No matter how many times he destroys the world, he will always return to the very beginning of the events.

When Luo Tian first realized the cause of this world-ending event, he couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine.

Don't be fooled by the fact that Tartarus is just an endless cycle of imprisonment to the White Bone Bodhisattva. Never forget that the cause of the world's destruction lies in the power that was born from the destruction of the world.

Once the infinite loop of the ouroboros is applied to a world, countless beings within that world, while maintaining their intelligence, will live out countless repetitive fates every day. Even death will be a luxury, and the entire world will continue in this endless, desperate mechanical operation forever.

Compared to the despair and fear brought by the Ouroboros, the Purifying White, who directly destroys the world, seems so normal.

So much so that after activating Tartarus, Luo Tian couldn't help but rush to check out the other causes of world destruction, wanting to figure out exactly what he had mastered.

However, perhaps because he had not yet fully mastered Tartarus, or perhaps because he had not met the corresponding conditions for world destruction, Luo Tian could only access a dozen or so causes of world destruction, while the rest were completely blank.

Aside from the Pure White and the infinitely looping Ouroboros, the rest are a few seemingly easy-to-understand concepts such as the Big Bang, singularity collapse, black holes, and Judgment Day.

There was nothing like the viral apocalypse, nuclear winter, or ice age that Luo Tian had originally imagined.

Thinking about it carefully, it makes sense. The so-called apocalypse that Luo Tian knew about was only referring to the ecosystem at the planetary level.

Even if viruses evolve further in a so-called viral apocalypse, they will still die once they leave the atmosphere.

The power of a nuclear bomb is merely enough to clean up the surface of a planet; it has no real impact on the planet itself.

As for the Ice Age, it was just a brief cold in the billions of years since the planet was born. It was a catastrophe for mankind, but it was just a common occurrence for the Earth.

Only events like the Big Bang, singularity collapse, black holes, and Judgment Day, which affect the entire world, can be considered true causes of world destruction.

Aside from these few that were relatively easy to understand, the other causes of the world's destruction left Luo Tian speechless.

It can manually create ancient memes of true evil gods.

The axiom of negation states that denying fundamental laws leads to the collapse of lower-level order, thus bringing all extraordinary civilizations and technological civilizations to an end.

A virtual ocean that incorporates the entire world into a data framework...

Even when Luo Tian was trying to find out if there was a classic dimensional reduction attack, something that looked terrifying popped up unexpectedly—zeroing out!

It's like Cheng Xin, who jumped directly from lowering the latitude to zero, was moved to tears.

These causes of world destruction refreshed Luo Tian's understanding of the power to destroy the world, and made him increasingly aware of the terror of Tartarus.

While this power may not be as simple and effortless as Luo Tian shattering a tenth of the Endless Abyss with a single punch, it is a power that is completely transcendent of the world compared to normal authority.

This alone makes it worthy of its reputation as one of the five creator gods of Greek mythology.

Just as Luo Tian was sighing inwardly, the White Bone Bodhisattva in Tartarus had completely gone mad.

The guidance of the Thirty-Three Devas requires the protection of the Four Heavenly Kings, but in the previous clash, the incarnations of the Four Heavenly Kings were all wiped out, which directly affected the subsequent actions of the White Bone Bodhisattva.

Faced with the summons of the White Bone Bodhisattva, the Four Guardian Kings turned a deaf ear in order to save their own lives, and the Thirty-Three Heavens had no chance to descend again.

Single-handedly, the White Bone Bodhisattva fought a great battle against the God of the Sky who was sleeping beneath the earth, and Tartarus, who had finally managed to tear the three thousand worlds apart again with the supreme supernatural power of Buddhism.

But when He stepped out of that collapsed world, He was greeted by those familiar eyes and that familiar desolate land.

The soul fire in its eye sockets trembled wildly, and finally the White Bone Bodhisattva looked at its palm, where the Buddha Kingdom seemed to still maintain its original appearance.

After a moment of silence, the White Bone Bodhisattva suddenly smiled.

Hehehe!
