Imber stepped back to the sidelines and raised his hand, gesturing, "So... who would like to be the first to step into the ring and become the defending champion?"

As soon as the words were spoken, a pink-haired girl darted out.

"I'll do it!"

Natsu landed on his feet and stood in the center of the arena. He looked at the mages of Alvarez and grinned, "Defending the title, huh? I'm fired up. Who wants to come up and challenge me first?"

After saying that, Natsu seemed to remember something, his gaze fixed on Agil, full of provocation, "Hey, Blackie, you lost to me last time, want to continue this time?"

Agil's face darkened. He had said so many times that his name was not Blacky Ram, and that his skin was a bronze color from the sun, not black!

An enraged Agil was about to jump onto the stage to fight Natsu again, but was pulled back by Wahl next to him.

The sudden appearance of the boulder caught Natsu off guard. He crashed headfirst into the boulder, was thrown into the air, and tumbled several times before falling to the ground.

But before he could land, Brandish threw out another inconspicuous pebble.

In an instant, the pebble expanded into a massive, millstone-sized rock, hurtling towards Natsu with a whooshing sound.

Natsu immediately adjusted his posture and unleashed a powerful attack with his Fire Dragon Sword, using his doll-sized body to overcome the massive rock that was a hundred times his size, smashing it to pieces.

However, three more enlarged pebbles came flying in a triangular formation.

Natsu swung his fists in quick succession, shattering two of the fiery fist shadows. The third grazed his shoulder, sending up a shard of clothing.

"Hello, hello, hello—"

"This magic is so cheating!"

Natsu staggered after landing, and before he could regain his balance, he saw Brandish raise his hand towards the ground beneath his feet again.

The stone slab beneath his feet suddenly rose up, forming a stone pillar several meters high, which lifted him directly into the sky.

Everything in the area that had been altered by the 'Shape' magic returned to its original state. Brandish listened to the sound of Natsu, now back to his original size, crashing heavily to the ground, and slowly spoke:

"Shall we continue?"

"Of course!"

Naz's response was much more enthusiastic than Brandish had expected.

He stood up as if nothing had happened, stretched his shoulders, and flashed a bright smile.

"Warm-up complete."

Natsu took a deep breath. "I'm going to get serious now."

Brandish frowned slightly, thinking Natsu was just putting on a brave face, and said with a hint of indifference, "Even if you're serious, it's no use. With your magic power, there's no way you can break through my magic."

Natsu did not refute, but simply closed his eyes slowly.

When he opened his eyes again, his pupils gleamed with an icy cold light, and his entire aura underwent a complete transformation.

The crimson flames that were originally wrapped around Natsu seemed to be soaked in ink, rapidly turning into an extremely deep black from the core of the flames.

Furthermore, a terrifying and suffocating surge of magical energy erupted from Natsu's body.

Brandish's expression finally changed.
