In the heart of the city, the thirty-meter-tall black tower stands out among the many buildings, its body radiating an ominous dark purple magical aura.

"That is the Tower of Despair."

Hugh Boy walked over to Hope and explained in a low voice, "Hopleth spends most of his time there; the Black Prison at the bottom of the tower holds all the rebels."

"Your companions who were brought to this world by 'Anima' are placed in the central square in the form of magic crystals."

Upon learning that the three outsiders were going to deal with the "Despair Emperor," the cat couple warmly led them to the outskirts of the capital.

"Laki, Mar, do you want to come in with us?"

Gildarts hooked his arm around Mystogan's shoulder and looked at the cat couple, "The three of us are super strong, so helping you rescue the Transcendent who was captured by the Despair Emperor is no big problem."

The white cat named Raki, with a full beard, spoke up unhappily, "Crack—who wants to save those unreasonable guys? The destruction of the Transcendent Kingdom is their own fault."
