A major problem with the Mu Zimi chapter is that it's too condensed. My original plan was to write a suspenseful locked-room mystery, but I quickly realized that I don't know how to write suspense at all, so I simply sped it up.

Despite setting many parameters, the final result can only be described as barely acceptable.

We initially set Mu Zimi as the main female lead... but actually, her role in the ending is more important.

Finally, here's the ending of this volume.

So far, the title "When Heroes Are Not Dead" is exactly what it sounds like. Anyone who defeats a demon lord and becomes a legend is considered a hero. "When they are not dead" means they are about to die, so this volume has killed off quite a few legends.

From the "Judgment" of the War Demon chapter, Grand Marshal Cangxuan of the Empire, to Mu Zimi's various personalities, and starting with "Lover" Felix, "Pope" John Clement III, "Chariot" Peng Longteng, "Sun" Chaos, "Demon" Judas... Hmm, thinking about it carefully, he actually killed not that many.

The stories like "Judgment," "The Sun," and "The Devil" don't have chapters or timelines, so their deaths are rather vague. Felix, the "lover," doesn't have much screen time at the beginning, but "The Pope" has a whole chapter dedicated to his past.
