“Everyone has their own reasons…” Lin Pianpian thought for a moment, “Some are born into lowly families, born to do this job. Their mothers do this job, their mothers do this job, so it just happened naturally. Some… are forced into it by their families. And some originally worked in bars or KTVs, but later, as they got older and lost their looks, they were kicked out by the businesses. To make a living, they had no other choice but to come to the army…”

"Of course, there are also those like me who are kidnapped by gangsters and sold into slavery. In short, everyone... probably ended up in such a state for one thing."

"what's up?"

"Alive".

Freya sighed, feeling a pang of pity.

Cheng Cheng sighed, "They're all good girls..."

The thought of transforming them into a poisoned arrow to pierce the heart of the Jingguan Bodhisattva made him feel uneasy.

Sylvia thought to herself, "If I become queen in the future, I will definitely set rules for the army and gangs, improve the working conditions of these prostitutes, require the army to guarantee their basic living and welfare subsidies, buy them insurance, teach them to read, and give them more options."

Cheng Cheng: "Why don't you just abolish the military prostitution system, rescue the forced women, and arrange other jobs for them, instead of suggesting that the oppressors do good for the oppressed? Wait, you seem to be a bit of a mystical aristocrat, never mind then."

This is what mystical aristocrats and mystical gangs are like.

After all, this age-old problem is something that even one of the three supreme pillars, who can reset the ancient world of a galaxy in a single thought, cannot solve, let alone a mere queen.

These are all necessary sacrifices; some streetwalkers are always more important than others...

Just then, the other girls beside them slowly woke up.

Freya sighed and handed each of them a gold coin: "You've all fallen to this state just to survive, haven't you? How pitiful..."

Mizuhara Chizuru, who was the last to wake up, took the money, looking puzzled: "What, have you fallen to this state?"

Freya: "Weren't you forced to come here because of your family background?"

“No,” said Mizuhara Chizuru. “I came here voluntarily.”

"why?"

"Working in the military camp pays so fast!" Mizuhara Chizuru said matter-of-factly. "Back home, I worked as a renter for three years and only earned 680,000... which is only 27,000 credits. I earned that in less than a month at the Kingdom's military camp, and the clients are all strong and healthy soldiers. The environment is so much better than back home... The Kingdom is truly paradise!"

Well, there are exceptions.

It stands out from the crowd.

Hearing this, Cheng Cheng felt much less guilty.

After all, they were military prostitutes, and doing these things was their job, and even more so, their way of saving themselves. Navel also promised that after this job, everyone would be given a promotion and that those who survived would all receive a raise. Only a minority would be unwilling.

I've known Sylvia and Freya for too long, and my moral standards have gradually risen.

…………

Ten minutes later, outside the military camp, by the city wall.

The finger of the Jingguan Bodhisattva twitched.

Then, the chanting of the Heart Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva stopped as if cut off by a knife. The cloud in its palm suddenly stopped and slowly opened its eyes.

The Buddha has a compassionate heart, but also a fierce and wrathful one!

"clang--!"

This time it wasn't the sound of bells.

Simultaneously, a thousand hands behind it supported the ground, causing its 500-meter-tall body to rise from its seated position. Countless enormous circular pits collapsed into the ground, the soil around them churning up as if plowed by a giant plow. The 500-meter-tall Bodhisattva statue began to run wildly across the ground with its thousand hands, vowing to wash away the anger of being toyed with by the blood of those who blasphemed the Buddha!

So it charged straight into the city!

Then he suddenly froze.

Because the city is bursting with tremendous vitality!

It looked down and heard the sound of countless flesh colliding. It saw that the 200,000 soldiers were crowded together, forming hundreds of huge fleshy Buddha statues, their bodies writhing and thrusting like white maggots, engaging in sexual acts.

Jingguan Bodhisattva: "???"

Jingguan Bodhisattva: "!!!"

The bodhisattva slowly raised his head, squinting at the dark hole above him, confirming that he was not seeing things.

What are these humans doing?

Is doing this kind of thing in front of the Buddha really not blaspheming the Bodhisattva in person?

The Jingguan Bodhisattva was instantly enraged—blasphemy! Sacrifice! Unforgivable!

Thousands of hands behind them stretched out in front of them at the same time, their palms splitting open, and red mist poured out from them like a flood bursting its banks, rushing towards the crowd!

The deadly red mist enveloped the bodies that were mating, but the immense life force generated by the mating blocked out the death energy—the red mist crashed into the mountain of flesh like water crashing into rocks, shattering into countless tiny particles that dissipated into the air.

When the red mist dissipated, the soldiers who were having intercourse were found to be safe and sound!

"efficient!"

Cheng Cheng clenched his fist, overjoyed!

“Of course! The formations for the ‘Unobstructed Assembly’ and the ‘Universal Salvation’ were obtained by me when I visited Zhengde Temple with my senior brother Li when I was young. They are full of vital energy and are especially effective against the dead!” Li Xianyu proudly raised his head. “However, this move can only prevent the red mist of the Jingguan Bodhisattva from killing us. If we want to kill the Bodhisattva, we still need to take the initiative to attack!”

"How to do it?"

"Of course, it's with the Bodhisattva."

Li Xianyu pulled out an artificial phallus from his pocket and tied it around his waist: "Next comes the duty of us thirteen gold medalists—whoever can get on the Jingguan Bodhisattva can kill it and achieve legend!"

Chapter 88, Wu Cheng'en lifts the coffin lid

Looking at Li Xianyu's weapon, Cheng Cheng couldn't help but hesitate: "Is this thing... really reliable?"

"Don't worry, Sylvia, this weapon is from General Navel's collection, the quality is absolutely top-notch!" Li Xianyu took out another weapon and handed it to Cheng Cheng, saying, "You can try it yourself if you don't believe me."

Cheng Cheng took the weapon, but his hand felt so heavy that he almost dropped it to the ground, his palm going numb from the impact.

The weapon was encased in golden hoops at both ends, with a section of black iron in the middle, and the words "Ruyi Jingu Bang, 13,500 jin" were engraved on it.

"This is Sun Wukong's magic staff that stabilizes the sea..." Cheng Cheng exclaimed in amazement.

The magic staff in Journey to the West weighs 13,500 jin, which is equivalent to 6.75 tons in modern units, or the weight of an adult elephant plus a small rhinoceros.

The standard for the Gold tier is to destroy a building in one hit and a city in one day; but now, with the support of various Abyss buffs, Sylvia's combat power is equivalent to the peak of the Gold tier. Although the 6.75-ton object is heavy, it is not difficult for her to hold.

"Our goal is to attack the statue from the inside, right?" Cheng Cheng said, securing his golden cudgel. "But how do we get inside the statue? What if there's no entrance?"

After all, the image of the Jingguan Bodhisattva is a pure white statue, and it is hard to imagine that any man-made statue would have an entrance.

"Don't worry, there definitely is. You just don't understand the necromancy faction," Li Xianyu explained earnestly. "Death is the extreme of Yin. Since the Jingguan Bodhisattva is the embodiment of the God of Death, there must be a place where death energy gathers. In the feng shui of the Elven Empire, it's called an 'earth aperture,' referring to a place where earth energy gathers. In Taoist internal alchemy, it's called 'mysterious female,' as the saying goes: 'The valley spirit never dies; it is called the mysterious female. The gate of the mysterious female is called the root of heaven and earth…'"

“Little Fish, you are truly knowledgeable…” Cheng Cheng couldn’t help but sigh, looking at Bugu beside him, “Compared to you, our illusionist in charge of intelligence gathering is really useless.”

The cuckoo squatted to the side, drew circles on the ground with its finger, snorted coldly, and ignored him.

He's done so many good deeds, yet the boss keeps targeting him... I really need to find a chance to drastically alter his memories.

In the military camp, seeing that everyone was ready, Navel gave an order:

"All troops, attack!!!"

…………

Twelve golden beams rose from the ground in the military camp.

The Bodhisattva Jingguan immediately noticed them. Although he didn't know what these weak insects wanted to do, their killing intent was so strong it was almost tangible, dripping from their bodies and leaving twelve pale red trails in the air.

So it stretched out its thousand hands, raised them simultaneously, and reached out from different directions at different speeds to grab at the twelve points of light in the air!

"Disperse!"

Navel's voice exploded in the earpiece.

The twelve golden rays exploded instantly.

Cheng Cheng swerved sharply to the left, and an arm grazed past his right side, the fingertips just a hand's breadth from his ribs. The wind pressure generated by the arm propelled him forward, and he tumbled twice in the air before regaining his balance.

The arm didn't retract after grabbing at empty air; instead, it swept horizontally across the sky like a 500-meter-long white pillar of flesh.

Cheng Cheng pressed down, his arm sweeping across his head, tearing off a few strands of hair from the wind pressure. Then he heard a muffled thud behind him—the arm had struck something.

Looking back, a golden light was falling downwards.

It was the burly man with a full beard who was struck head-on by the arm. He spun and crashed to the ground like a baseball hit by a bat. The golden cudgel slipped from his grasp, somersaulting in the air before landing a moment earlier, its shaft still vibrating as it embedded itself in the sand.

The burly man crashed to the ground, creating a three-meter-wide crater. He struggled to get up, but a second arm came down and swatted him into a bloody mist like swatting a fly!

Eleven people remain.

Cheng Cheng didn't look again. He turned back and continued flying forward.

A thousand hands surged in from all directions, and the Bodhisattva of the Jingguan regarded them as flies, weaving a white net in the air with his arms.

There is only one way to survive in the net – upwards.

Cheng Cheng pulled himself up and rushed upwards almost vertically, passing through the gap in the arms.

Swerve left, dodge right, stop abruptly, accelerate.

An arm reached out from the front, aiming directly for the palm. Just before being grabbed, he flipped over, slipping through the web of the hand and sliding out with his back against the palm.

Another muffled groan came through the headset, followed by a second one.

Ten people remain.

When the group arrived near Xuanpin, only ten of the Gold Saints remained.

Cheng Cheng hovered in mid-air, looked up, and saw that, as Li Xianyu had said, the Mysterious Female existed!

The crowd clapped and cheered, saying, "Whoever has the ability, go inside, find the source, and come out with a weapon. They will surely be able to kill the Jingguan Bodhisattva and achieve a legendary status!"

Cheng Cheng volunteered, closed his eyes, crouched down, and leaped into the waterfall. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and looked up, only to find a clear, still bridge in the water.

He stopped, composed himself, and looked more closely. It turned out to be an iron plank bridge. Water rushed through the stone walls beneath, cascading down and obscuring the bridge entrance. He then climbed onto the bridgehead, walked further, and looked around again. It resembled a dwelling; what a wonderful place!

After observing for a while, I jumped across the middle of the bridge and looked left and right. In the center stood a stone tablet. On the tablet were engraved a line of large characters in regular script:

"Huaguo Mountain is a blessed land, and Water Curtain Cave is a celestial paradise."

Overjoyed, Cheng Cheng quickly pulled out his golden cudgel and struck deep into the Water Curtain Cave!

"clang--!"

Like the sound of a bell, the air inside the Water Curtain Cave was shaken out in a visible ripple, which spread out from the tip of the stick, crashed against the stone wall, and shattered into fine waves.

The golden cudgel stood frozen in mid-air, unable to advance an inch.
