"Very good, keep going."
Martin stepped out of the cabin and onto the deck. Smoothie and the others followed; they were heading to the base of one of the Five Emperors, and Kaido, who was known for his madness.
A black dot appeared in the distance. As the dot drew closer, when everyone could see the entire island clearly, they began to doubt their captain's judgment. There were no man-made structures on the island, and it seemed to be in a primitive state.
"Captain, is this really the Beasts Pirates' base? This is terrible, there's nothing here." The boatswain expressed great doubt.
Seeing the state of the island, Martin began to doubt his own judgment. The Beasts Pirates were, after all, one of the Five Emperors' pirate crews, and unlike the Red-Haired Pirates, they weren't an elite crew. They should have a large number of people, so how could there be no buildings at all?
"Smoothie, take a walk around the island. Maybe we're going the wrong way."
"Yes, Captain."
Smoothie started the Little Harem again, and the Little Harem began to rotate around the island.
"what is that?"
Martin finally found a gap, and something seemed to be floating inside it.
The Little Harem entered a seaway that was very long and narrow compared to the islands. After passing through the seaway, the Little Harem arrived at a huge bay.
It turns out that there was a mountain blocking the bay from the outside, completely obscuring its existence.
Several ships were anchored in the bay, with the Beasts Pirates' flags fluttering in the wind. It seemed they hadn't come to the wrong place; this place was definitely related to the Beasts Pirates.
The arrival of the Little Harem went completely unnoticed, as if there was no one on the island at all.
Sea Beast Pirates.
Holdem found it very boring. This time it was his and Sipshead's turn to stay behind. Normally, they could have just gone to get the wine, but since Lord Jack's new world was not peaceful, it would be safer for him to go by himself. In the end, the two of them stayed behind.
Thinking of this, Holdem swallowed hard. Going to Beverage Island to fetch wine was his favorite task. Every time, he would secretly hide a lot of it and then drink it secretly when no one was around.
"Ugh! When can we drink it again next time?"
"Who goes there!"
Holdem sensed someone entering. Why would anyone come at this hour? Could it be that Lord Jack has returned with the wine? Judging by the time, he should be back by now.
"Sipshead, it seems the adults have returned."
"What, the adult has returned?"
Sipshead quickly got up; he was so bored that he had fallen asleep without realizing it.
Martin disembarked and came to the island. Although there were no man-made buildings on the island, there was a road leading into the island.
“Captain, look, there’s a cave ahead,” Smoothie said, pointing ahead.
Martin strode to the hole, which was very large, like a hemisphere with a radius of more than ten meters.
"Snapped!"
Martin kicked a rock, which flew away. Then Martin heard a shout coming from inside the cave, followed by people talking.
"Who are you people?" Holdem stepped out of the cave, intending to greet Jack, but was startled to find Martin instead.
"What happened in Holdem?" Sipshead also ran out of the cave.
Upon seeing Martin and his group, Shepshead exclaimed happily, "Hahaha, someone actually came to this island! You've come at the perfect time; I was just dying of boredom. What kind of pirate crew are you? If you can make him happy, I'll have Lord Jack recruit you into the Beasts Pirates."
"I'm afraid Jack won't be able to recruit us into his pirate crew."
Upon hearing Martin's words, Sipshead tilted his head and asked unhappily, "Why!"
"Heh, how can you, a dead man, recruit me into the Beasts Pirates?"
"A dead man? You're asking for it." Hearing Martin's arrogance, Holdem was furious and raised his fist to strike.
"Oh!"
"How is this possible!"
Holdem exclaimed in surprise. He hadn't expected that his punch would be blocked by the short young man in front of him. Even though it was just a casual strike, it was not something that just anyone could catch.
"Where do you get the power to be so arrogant?" Martin looked up and glared at Holdem.
"Don't think that just because you caught my casual attack you can talk to me like that. Die! You're asking for it."
Holdem was enraged by Martin's words and slammed down with his other hand again, this time with all his might.
"Oh!"
"Clap clap clap!"
The force of the recoil from the One-Hit Hand, Sirholdum, sent him staggering backward, crashing into the cave wall before finally coming to a stop.
Holdem, who had crashed into the cave wall, stared wide-eyed at Martin, incredulous that he had actually been knocked back by the recoil.
"puff!"
"Cough, cough, cough!"
A mouthful of blood spurted from Holdem's mouth, followed by a violent coughing fit.
"You dare to be arrogant with such little strength? Go down and keep your Jack company!"
Martin pushed off with his foot, leaping into the air and kicking Holdem in the face.
Holdem was kicked away and flew towards the outside of the cave, but Martin was faster. While Holdem was in the air, he jumped on him and stomped him down.
"boom!"
Holdem smashed a large crater in the ground, and lay motionless at the bottom of the crater, blood flowing continuously from his mouth, nose, eyes and ears, and he was completely silent.
"Who goes there? How dare you cause trouble for the Beasts Pirates?"
"Clap, clap, clap!"
A lot of footsteps were heard, and many pirates ran out of the island, some of them shouting loudly.
Martin ignored the pirates surrounding him from all sides; he would deal with Smoothie and the others. What he wanted to know now was where the Beasts Pirates' treasure was.
"What do you want to do?"
Sipshead took two steps back. It was terrifying. Holdem, who had just been talking to him, had been beaten to death.
"What am I going to do? Of course, I'm going to kill you." Martin rushed up to Sipshead and punched him in the stomach.
"Ouch!"
Sipshead screamed in pain, his whole body curled up in a circle.
Martin stepped over Sipshead, ready to go into the cave to take a look.
"You can't go in. This is Captain Kaido's residence." Although she was very scared, Shepshead grabbed Martin.
“Do you think you can stop me?” Martin then kicked Sipshead again.
"If it weren't for the captain and the other adults going out to look for Martin, you wouldn't be so arrogant. When Captain Kaido and Lord Jack return, they will definitely avenge us!" Shepshead shouted as Martin continued to walk inside.
"I believe Kaido can avenge you, but forget about Jack, I've already killed him. How do you think I would have the Log Pose for this island?"
"How is this possible? Lord Jack is invincible. How could you possibly kill him?" Sipshead said incredulously. In his mind, Jack was just as invincible as his captain.
“If you don’t believe me, go down and see for yourself.” Martin stepped on Sipshead’s neck.
"you you you!"
Sipshead never expected Martin to suddenly kill him; he cried out a few times before dying.
Seeing that he had trampled Shepshead to death, Martin suddenly realized that he had become somewhat bloodthirsty. He would never have killed people so easily before, even if the person was a pirate.
"Never mind, he was probably provoked by Hercules."
Martin stopped thinking about it and continued walking inside.
This is Kaido's residence in Shepshead. The more Martin looks at it, the less it resembles it. There's nothing inside; not even a bed or a piece of furniture.
Some were just large fire pits, still containing a lot of ashes. Above the fire pit was the top of a hole, where there was a round opening, like a smoke vent.
What was that? Martin looked into the deepest part of the cave and saw a red stone tablet lying there quietly.
Martin quickened his pace and approached the stone tablet.
"Historical text, road sign historical text."
Upon seeing the stone tablet clearly, Martin exclaimed in surprise. He couldn't believe Kaido had just casually placed the Road Poneglyph here.
If it were an ordinary person, they would definitely find a place to hide something this important. Kaido not only didn't hide it, but he didn't even have many guards.
Actually, Martin was mistaken. Kaido already felt this was the safest place. He personally guarded his residence, so what place could be safer than this?
It was like finding a needle in a haystack, only to have it fall into your lap effortlessly. Martin felt incredibly lucky to have obtained a Road Poneglyph from the Beasts Pirates so easily. Something that others struggled to obtain, he picked up as if it were nothing.
Martin stopped thinking about it, picked up the Road Poneglyph, and walked out of Kaido's cave.
When Martin came out, the battle outside the cave was over. How could a group of ordinary pirates possibly be a match for Smoothie and her crew?
"Captain, are you practicing weightlifting?" the boatswain said with a smile when he saw Martin's appearance.
“Go away, what do you know? Let’s go back,” Martin said.
Martin and his crew quickly returned to the Little Harem. Just as the Little Harem was about to start, Martin jumped into the air again and flew towards Kaido's cave. He flew back shortly afterward.
"Captain, where have you been?" the boatswain asked, puzzled.
"secret!"
……
After looting the island's treasure and Poneglyphs, Martin left again, but there wasn't much treasure, suggesting that Kaido may have placed it elsewhere.
So everyone decided to go to the place indicated by the second permanent pointer.
A few days later, the lookout suddenly reported: "Captain, there is a sea of thunder near that island. It can be seen from afar, so you won't lose your way."
"That's good, let's go take a look now."
"Yes, Captain!"
"The captain is over there," Hercules said, pointing into the distance after sailing for some distance.
Sure enough, when Martin looked out, dark clouds covered the distant sea, and lightning flashed and thunder roared, making it seem like a sea of thunder.
"Smoothie, how did this happen there? Do you know?"
“The area where the captain lived has always been like this, it’s been like this for hundreds of years. My mother told us not to go near there, it’s very dangerous.”
