Not a trainer this time

#704 - Final comments

It's finished!

The book started in June of '23, and now it's January of '25. After a year and seven months, Naoki's story has finally come to an end.

Thank you all for your support over the past year. Your comments and subscriptions have supported the author to this day.

Many readers have said that this book is the first book they've ever fully subscribed to. This little nobody is truly moved and apprehensive, having taken everyone's first time with this book... Thank you, I'm truly grateful to everyone.

I wouldn't dare say this is a perfect story, but I believe it can more or less bring some emotion to the readers of this book, to everyone.

For an author, this is a very happy thing.

Especially when I saw everyone's comments on the last two chapters, crying and feeling sad because of the emotions...

Actually, seeing these comments made me really happy, because it represents that I conveyed the emotions to everyone's hearts.

When I was writing these two chapters yesterday, as the author, my heart felt heavy. When the last word fell, I felt a sense of loss.

"This Time I Won't Be a Trainer" is finished. Naoki's story is over, and I can no longer continue to write their stories.

Naoki, Koraidon, Builder Mole, Dragonite, Calyrex... every Pokémon was carefully crafted by me, and now their stories are over, and I really feel a bit reluctant to part with them.

Actually, I had already thought about the ending plot before I started writing the book, and I wrote down some of the content.

I have a habit of writing books, I like to determine the beginning and the end first, and then slowly fill in the various plots in the middle.

This is also the reason why I haven't been able to finish early all along, because I really can't, if I change the ending, the entire outline and logic will collapse.

Of course, I also have to admit that this book also has many shortcomings.

Some plots are too sentimental and awkward, and some plots are too protracted. These contents make this book look a bit top-heavy.

This is something I need to learn and improve, including the issue of taking leave... I will try to correct it in the next book!

Next, there will be a post-epilogue side story, which will explain some follow-up content, such as the achievements and development of the Tree House, a certain grandson coming to inherit his great-great-grandfather's ranch, and other content, which will be updated tomorrow.

Naoki's story has ended, but a new story is also beginning.

That's right! Next is the old-fashioned new book preparation stage!

To be honest, the author is currently preparing two books.

I mentioned it once in a leave note before, now please vote again! (Leave your chapter comments behind the book you want to read, and I will read them later)

1, "Pokémon: I Picked Up xxx at the Start", a traditional, relaxing road trip story, starting with one person and one Pokémon, traveling around, seeing the customs and cultures of different regions and various encounters between humans and Pokémon.

2, "Manor Lord in the Pokémon World", an ancient manor lord story of infrastructure construction and farming development, from a small village to a big city, transforming Pokémon from "monsters" to "Pokémon", creating a Pokémon League utopia story.

The era is set in the Kalos War, the Unova Black and White Dragon War, the Paldea Great Exploration Period, the Hoenn Energy Eruption, and the ancient time point when Galar's Darkest Day broke out (privately set in the near period)

That's it for now, boo hoo hoo, Naoki's story is over, it's really sad, I won't have the chance to type this name again in the future

(T _ T)

Thank you again for liking this book. On the last day of January, I finally ask everyone to vote for a wave of monthly tickets to support this book!
