Master Elek and Nameless cultivator was shocked by the woman's actions. Moreover, they were puzzled at the reason why she called him 'Daniel'.

Even Ajax was shocked and tried to come out of the woman's embrace; however, he hugged him so tightly that he could not move.

"Who are you? First, leave me, let's talk."

Seeing that the woman made his robe soak in her tears, Ajax asked the woman in a little voice.

"Edina, leave him first and let's talk."

Seeing that his wife was not leaving the young man who saved them, he convinced her to leave Ajax from her embrace.

'Is he really Daniel?'

Hearing her husband shout at her, the woman was unable to say anything as she started crying before leaving Ajax out of her embrace.

"It's okay."

Soon, her husband took her into his embrace before calming her down in a sorrowful voice.

While saying those words, the man took her back to the place where he had placed a couple of stones to sit for his wife.

Just as they took a couple of steps, Ajax asked them to stop.

"Sorry for my earlier actions, young man. I thought you were someone else."

The woman named Edina bowed as she apologized to Ajax fearing that her actions might have angered their saviour.

"It's okay. I want to ask you about something."

Ajax just shook his head as he replied to the couple.

"Of course, young man. We will answer anything you want to know."

Since Ajax was their saviour, the couple didn't mind answering anything he wanted to know.

Moreover, they could already guess what the young man wanted to ask them. So, the man was the first one to reply to Ajax.

As for the woman, she cleared the tears off her face and supported her husband.

"How are you related to Captain Edmond?"

Ajax finally asked the question, he wanted to ask them.

Earlier, Ajax heard that the woman mentioned Captain Edmond's name. Even though he didn't know whether the Edmond she mentioned and the Edmond he knew were the same, he wanted to know more about it.

'I think the 'Edmond' she mentioned might be the same one.'

Deep down, Ajax had that thought; however, Ajax wanted to confirm it.

With each answer she got from Ajax, Edina would be surprised because his brother was not that strong before they entered the Cursed Abyss for a mission from the sect.

"Since you know about Captain Edmond, then you must know about the hidden families, right? How are they faring against the Royal family and the other top powers of our province?"
