My Black Magic Is Too Good, It Can Be Automatically Whitened

114. Hermione's question (please subscribe!)

Hermione remained silent while Dunn and Harry told the story.

Of course she didn't drink secretly like Ronald did.

At first Hermione wondered why Dunn was telling Harry his friend's story.

Until Harry used his friend's name to tell the story of his parents, Hermione still couldn't figure it out.

Dunn was justifiably interested in Harry, but interested in the story of Harry's parents, which was completely unfounded.

But Hermione found something interesting.

Under the law of time, they cannot tell the people of the present what will happen in the future.

But just now Harry had told about his parents.

This made Hermione feel that as long as the other party did not feel that it was happening in the future, this way, he could tell the other party what happened in the future.

Whether or not the conjecture was correct, Hermione felt like giving it a try.

"Dunn, Harry, after hearing the story of your two friends' parents, I suddenly have a question. 35

Dunn looked at Hermione curiously.

"Why, you have a friend too?"

Hermione shook her head.

"I once read a little story about 940 in a Muggle World newspaper about traveling through time and space."

The expressions on Harry and Ronald's faces turned into panic.

They thought Hermione must be crazy!

How can you tell this kind of thing about crossing in front of Dunn!

What shocked them even more was that the law of time didn't stop Hermione from continuing.

"It's a simple story about a careless guy who gets caught up in a time-travel and kills his grandfather without knowing it."

Dunn's eyes lit up.

He had already guessed what Hermione was telling the story.

The famous grandfather paradox!

The intention was clever, but Hermione overlooked a problem.

The novel that proposed the grandfather paradox was published in 1943, at least two years before now.

Of course Dunn wasn't going to expose it, just curiously asking Hermione what happened to the man next.

Hermione spread her hands, indicating that the story ends here.

Harry and Ronald were dumbfounded.

Dunn laughed.

"Does this have anything to do with the (cgdb) story of me and Harry just now?"

"In the story I just told, if a person travels into the past and kills his grandfather, it is impossible for that person to be born and then go back and kill his grandfather!99

The conversation between the two academic bullies made Harry and Ronald, who were both academic scumbags, dizzy.

Before the two could figure out the logical relationship, Hermione asked again:

"How do you think this paradox is explained?"

"So you actually want to ask, can you change the future by going back to the past? 55

"That's right." Hermione nodded.

Dunn then asked, "Why do you think that way?"

"Because when I was listening to the story of you and Harry's two friends, I thought that the professor was actually a good person, but when your two friends found this out, the professor was already dead. If you could go back to the past, would you be able to change the professor? The end of death?"

"It appears that we are on the same page.39

Dunn smiled and shrugged.

"I also think the professor should not die, and even I think he should be with my friend's mother, but this brings up a question you just mentioned, if my friend's mother is with the professor, Then there will be no friend of mine in the future, and he will not be able to go back and save the professor.

To clarify, Dunn took out his wand and turned the sweet soda cup and straw in front of him into parchment and quill.

When he was done, he found that there was still one ink bottle left, and turned the untouched butterbeer in front of Hermione into an ink bottle.

After sucking the magic water, Dunn drew two parallel lines on the sheepskin with a quill.

"First of all, we have to make one thing clear, crossing is divided into two situations!

As soon as he finished speaking, Ronald quickly replied:

"I know, back to the future and back to the past! 35

Dunn shook his head regretfully.

"We'll talk about that later. We're in a world with multiple universes, and each universe is like these two parallel lines that don't intersect at all, and the natural timelines are different."

"Jumping from a straight line to another straight line is a kind of crossing."

"It's like Harry's friends and I are the same person, and their father's different experiences in school can be understood as two parallel universes. If we cross from one line to another, we can explain the grandfather we just mentioned. Paradox question.

"Of course, this situation is very rare. Anyway, there is no evidence to prove that someone has traveled from another universe to the universe we are in. Even if there is, the other party can't admit it. Are you right?"

All three of Hermione nodded vigorously.

With the wand in Dunn's hand pointed at the parchment, the two parallel lines merged into one

"What is really worth discussing is another kind of crossing, and the most common crossing in the wizarding world, that is going back to the past. 35

“We don’t discuss the possibility of a multiverse, assuming that the world we are in is the only one, and this world can be seen as a straight line made up of countless points in time.”

"Going back to the past is when you go back from the top of the line to a certain point in time before. In the process, the time line between the two points will be erased, and it will no longer exist."

"The relationship between you and your grandfather was established in this erasing time line. After crossing the time line, this time line no longer exists, which means that the relationship between you and your grandfather no longer exists. It's also why, in your story, Hermione, the time traveler could accidentally kill his grandfather.55

"In fact, from the moment the time-travel occurred, the future has changed. The essence of the time-travel is to erase the previous time line, and after adding the variable of the time-traveler, a new time line has been developed.

Ronald was still obsessed with the question he had just asked. As soon as Dunn finished speaking, he immediately asked:

"What about going back to the future?"

"Back to the future is only possible in the multiverse, and if it is a single universe, the time travel can only happen at the top of the timeline, you can go back to the past, but you can't jump to the future, because the future has not happened at all.
