Courtyard House: My Time Travel is a Bit Too Strong
Chapter 457 Slaying the Wild Wolf
Looking at the more than 500 familiar yet resolute faces before him, Eric felt a surge of emotion welling up inside him.
With over five hundred mutants gathered together, the sheer amount of energy fluctuations they generated was enough to shake the very air.
With 50,000 acres of fertile land, the Brotherhood could have lived a life of ease, growing grain, raising livestock, mining, and building factories.
After a few brief words of encouragement, Eric immediately ordered everyone to dig an underground bunker.
Mushroom bombs can indeed cause some mutants to undergo genetic mutations and experience a surge in combat power—provided you survive the explosion.
But if it really fell into the hands of an ordinary person, who could guarantee that one day it wouldn't be smashed into the heart of the manor?
To prevent any potential disaster, Eric was determined to build a deep shelter that could withstand the impact of a nuclear explosion.
Skye, one of Phil Coulson's subordinates, whose real name is Daisy Jensen, is of Inhuman descent and is codenamed "Quake".
"Of mixed Chinese and American descent, with striking features and a stunning figure, she'd be easy to win over."
After a brief consideration, Chung Kwok-hung visited S.H.I.E.L.D. under the pretext of providing "technical support" and stayed for a few days.
Perhaps it was her fame that overwhelmed her, or perhaps it was her awe-inspiring presence, but in just a few days, Skye had quietly fallen for her.
He handed over a few vials of serum, and Skye promptly submitted her resignation.
During his foundation-building session with the Yin-Yang True Scripture, he unexpectedly gained insight into the generation mechanism of shock waves.
At the same time, Skye also officially adopted her real name—Daisy Jensen.
Mutant powers originate from the X gene, and Stryker's "superpower suppression fog" only works on the X gene.
To put it bluntly, abilities unrelated to the X gene are just waste smoke.
Daisy is a descendant of the Inhumans, and the shockwave comes from an ancient bloodline activated by the Terrigen Mist, so she is naturally not suppressed by the medicinal mist.
After practicing the Concentration Technique for a few days, she could easily overturn steel plates and crack cement walls with a simple gesture.
In a flash of inspiration, Chung Kwok-hung reversed the principle of shockwaves and incorporated it into his fist techniques, creating the powerful and fierce Shockwave Fist.
"Daniel Whitehall, a key figure in Hydra, used Daisy's mother, Jaing, to rejuvenate and maintain her youthful appearance for decades. Daisy may very well have inherited this power to defy fate."
The thought had barely formed in his mind when Chung Kwok-hung took a drop of blood from her fingertip, put it into the treasure basin to clone several copies, and then handed them over to Banner for in-depth analysis.
That morning, Daisy gazed at the clouds drifting past the window, then suddenly turned to ask, "Zhong, have you found out who my father is?"
"Calvin Zabo—known as 'Mr. Hyde'," Chung Kwok-hung said in a calm and unhurried voice.
This person had committed numerous bloody crimes in China and had long been wiped out by Chung Kwok-hung, leaving not even ashes behind.
"He...is dead?" Daisy's throat moved slightly, and her fingertips unconsciously clenched the hem of her clothes.
"It was Whitehall who did it." Chung Kwok-hung said solemnly, his tone certain.
Calvin, stained with the blood of Chinese people, was killed by his own hand; and now Whitehall, whose body has turned to ashes and whose soul has been scattered, has become the most convenient scapegoat.
"And what about my mother?" Daisy asked softly.
"She was Chinese...and died at Whitehall's hands." Chung Kwok-hung said, his words steady and measured, half-truthful.
In reality, Jia Ying is safe and sound, and is in charge of the overall situation of the alien race.
"Mm." Daisy nodded gently and didn't ask any further questions.
Less than a week into the peaceful period, Diana's wrist communicator suddenly lit up—Paradise Island had sent an urgent distress call.
After a moment's thought, Chung Kwok-hung immediately decided to accompany her.
It's a foregone conclusion that Steppenwolves will set foot on Earth.
He raised his hand and made a sweeping motion in the air, tearing through the air with silver light, and a dark blue teleportation portal suddenly opened.
In the blink of an eye, the two were standing on the verdant cliffs of Paradise Island.
Hippolyta was inspecting the coast when she was suddenly startled by the burst of light and shadow and the sudden appearance of figures.
"Mother, this is my boyfriend, Chung Kwok-hung. Just call him Chung." Diana took his arm, her smile bright.
"Your Majesty." Zhong Guohong's eyes lit up, and he clasped his hands and nodded.
"How did you break through the barrier and get in?" Hippolyta frowned slightly.
"A magical portal," he answered readily.
"As far as I know, no teleportation technique can reach the heart of the island." Her gaze was sharp.
"As long as the caster is strong enough, even the thickest barrier is nothing more than a paper window." His tone was calm, yet it carried an undeniable confidence.
The energy field formed by the Northern Darkness Divine Art had long since shattered the spatial barriers—the seal? The shield? They were utterly useless before him.
"The Mother Box is shaking... Steppenwolf, we're almost there," Hippolyta whispered.
"The knife hasn't tasted blood in a long time, it's perfect for sharpening it." Chung Kwok-hung's lips curled into a slight smile.
"Quite the boast," Hippolyta raised an eyebrow. "Whether he has real skills or not, we'll have to see for ourselves."
"Her sword is my testimony," he replied casually.
Diana's ears burned, her cheeks flushed, and she rolled her eyes, thinking to herself: This person is talking nonsense again!
The women on Paradise Island all wore light armor and short skirts, and moved with a graceful gait; there was not a single man to be seen on the island.
In Marvel lore, Diana was born from a secret rendezvous between Zeus and Hippolyta.
But the entire island is made up of women, so where will the offspring come from? A hint of curiosity crossed Chung Kwok-hung's mind.
If Diana's father was indeed Zeus, then who were the fathers of the other warriors' daughters? Did they truly seduce passing sailors...?
A baby boy was abandoned at sea, and a baby girl was brought back to the island? If this were true, the so-called paradise on earth would probably have long since become a den of iniquity.
He shook his head, clearing his mind, reached out and embraced Diana's slender waist, leading her to the summit.
The seawater is as blue as glass, crystal clear; the white sand is as fine as powder, clean and flawless.
Before Steppenwolf arrived, spending time with her quietly watching the sea was a rare moment of tranquility.
Paradise Island, untouched by the world, is a picturesque scene at every turn.
The next day at noon, the sky suddenly darkened, and leaden clouds pressed down overhead.
The Steppenwolf led his army across the border, surging onto the beach like a black tide.
Zhong Guohong drew his sword, teleported, and slashed—a flash of cold light, and the Wasteland Wolf was torn in two from head to toe! Before its remains even hit the ground, it was burned to nothingness by the violent energy.
The battlefield fell into a deathly silence. Soldiers from both sides halted their troops simultaneously, looking up in astonishment.
With a flick of his wrist, his blade swept across the sky, tearing through the heavens in a bright arc—rows of alien warriors silently disintegrated, turning into countless fireflies.
With sword shadows flashing and silver light cascading down, the entire army under the command of the Wasteland Wolf was annihilated in just a few breaths, leaving no trace.
"I thought Steppenwolf could withstand three of my moves, but I didn't even see the blade before he fell."
After clearing out the invading alien warriors, Chung Kwok-hung pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, flicked his finger to light it, and silently exhaled a thick puff of white smoke.
Hippolyta and the others stood there, their eyes shining brightly, as if they had witnessed a legend come true.
The Steppenwolf was killed, and bonfires burned all night on Paradise Island, with drums beating loudly.
Surrounded by others, Chung Kwok-hung was forced to drink several large bowls of strong liquor. His blood rushed to his head, and he let go of his inhibitions, laughing unrestrainedly.
He chose Hippolyta and Verinia, who caught his eye—a glance, a gesture, and it was all a matter of course.
The other Amazon women smiled and looked at him, but he only bowed and politely declined.
