Nanxing gives Lei Biao a large sum of money every month; Long Fei's affairs are Lei Biao's affairs.

As the chief detective, Lei Biao's every move in Hong Kong could shake half of the police force.

After hanging up the phone, Lin Quan flashed into Earth's space and casually picked up dozens of Patek Philippe watches.

"Long Fei has been a great help, so let's pick out a couple of watches for him..."

There's no such brand on Earth, so giving it as a gift would be both respectable and worry-free.

At 9 p.m. that night, Lin Quan, carrying two watches and two jars of Moutai, drove straight to Longfei Villa.

As soon as I entered, I received a call from Wang Yaoxin: One hundred security guards will arrive on time the day after tomorrow afternoon.

Upon seeing him arrive, Long Fei stood up and greeted him with a smile: "Mr. Lin."

"I live in Hong Kong, and my surname is Chung," Lin Quan said calmly.

"Mr. Zhong." Long Fei understood and smiled.

"It's just a small token of my appreciation," Lin Quan said, placing the items on the coffee table.

"Tsk, this craftsmanship...where did you find it?" Long Fei lifted the box and paused. Hong Kong is full of Rolexes, but these two are far superior in terms of movement patterns alone.

"Private customization, a million for a pair," Lin Quan casually remarked.

"A million?!" Long Fei's eyelids twitched.

"Just a little trinket, only for telling time." Lin Quan said calmly—the two watches, one a men's model worth over three million and the other a women's model worth over two million, were both picked up for free in a mall on Earth, without paying a penny.

"I didn't know Mr. Zhong was here today. What brings you here?" Without saying a word, Long Fei fastened the men's watch to his wrist with a swift motion.

"I've transferred a hundred security guards from the other side of the strait. I would appreciate it if Mr. Lung could help them obtain Hong Kong residency." Lin Quan got straight to the point.

"No problem at all." Long Fei readily agreed. Which of the nearby police stations didn't have spies planted by him?

With a local Hong Kong guarantor, Hong Kong residency can be obtained immediately upon arrival.

With over a thousand official henchmen in the Nanxing gang, a mere hundred or so slots would be a piece of cake.

"The wine brought from the other side of the strait is fairly smooth to drink." Lin Quan raised his hand and pointed to the two jars of Moutai.

Long Fei told his men to prepare some hearty dishes, grinning, "Let's have a couple of drinks later, you and I."

"Sure." Lin Quan readily agreed and struck up a conversation with him.

"Mr. Zhong, would you be so kind as to spare some iron goods for me?" Long Fei asked tentatively.

"How much do you want?" Lin Quan didn't answer the question, but instead retorted.

"One hundred short ones, thirty long ones, plus three thousand peanuts," Long Fei calculated briefly and announced the numbers.

"Forget about the money, consider it a gift from me." Lin Quan waved his hand with a smile, "But—there's a condition."

"Please speak," Long Fei said immediately, his expression turning serious.

"What I give you is only for self-defense and to protect your life; you must never harm an innocent person." Lin Quan's gaze was calm.

"No problem!" Long Fei's heart warmed, and he quickly asked, "When will you be here?"

"Wait for my call the day after tomorrow," Lin Quan said confidently. In the replicated Earth, new iron goods are readily available; old goods need to be adjusted from inventory and old accounts cleared—Nanxing stockpiled this batch of goods precisely as a precaution.

Although all the triads in Hong Kong were ostensibly under Lei Biao's control, they were secretly rife with infighting and undercurrents.

Juyi is the number one gang, and its leader, Wu Tianhao, wields a large army and is known for his reckless and ruthless behavior.

After having lunch at the Long family's house, Lin Quan started the car and drove away.

"Isn't that Lou Jiasheng?"

Seeing Lou Jiasheng surrounded by four thugs at a street corner, Lin Quan slammed on the brakes.

Lou Jiasheng is Lou Xiao'e's biological father and He Yang's maternal grandfather.

"What are you doing?" Lin Quan asked as he got out of the car.

The gangster with a blue dragon coiled around his arm boomed, "You little punk, just say you're asking for trouble!"

"Uncle Lou, need a hand?" Lin Quan asked with a smile.

"You...you are Lin Quan?" Lou Jiasheng was taken aback.

The two only met once—on the day He Tiezhu married Lou Xiao'e.

"Just finished receiving a red envelope, and then I bumped into someone delivering a car. This kind of luck is unstoppable!" the purple-haired underling joked with a grin.

"Brother Yong, there aren't any cops around." The guy in the floral shirt glanced around.

"This seems to be Nanxing territory, right?" Lin Quan asked casually.

"Nanxing? We're the people who gathered together!" The last guy, with his nose in the air, sneered.

"Three seconds, or you're out of here—you'll have to bear the consequences." Lin Quan's voice was as cold as ice.

"Go!" The man raised his arm.

Before Lin Quan's palm strike landed, the four men were already spewing blood and collapsing to the ground.

"Don't you dare run away!" With that empty threat, the four thugs scrambled away and disappeared.

"Ah Quan, what brings you to Hong Kong?" Lou Jiasheng wiped his sweat.

"Can't I come?" Lin Quan raised an eyebrow and asked.

"Thank you for earlier...." Lou Jiasheng was a little embarrassed.

After dropping him off at the Lou family's doorstep, Lin Quan turned around and headed back to Shanshui Bay.

I crawled into the cloned Earth to check the road conditions, then floored the accelerator.

"It's almost four o'clock. Let's pick up Jingru first and then continue our journey tomorrow morning."

He parked the car on the side of the road, slipped away, jumped into the jeep, and headed straight for the Catholic High School.

Qin Jingru, who is twenty-three years old, looks only seventeen or eighteen.

She lacked a solid foundation, so Lin Quan simply had her start from middle school to improve, prioritizing a solid foundation over speed.

In fact, given Lung Fei's influence in Hong Kong, getting her into university wouldn't have been difficult at all.

As soon as they stopped at the school gate, Qin Jingru and Zhao Ya walked out arm in arm, chatting and laughing.

Once everyone was seated, Lin Quan handed out two velvet boxes: "These were given to us by someone else, one for each of us."

"Brother Zhong, this is too precious, I really can't accept it." Zhao Ya lifted the lid of the box, her eyes lit up, but then she gritted her teeth and closed it, taking it back with both hands.

"Here you go, just take it." Qin Jingru said readily.

"I never take back what I give away," Lin Quan said calmly but firmly.

"Aya, take it." Qin Jingru gently nudged her.

Unable to refuse, Zhao Ya bowed her head and thanked her.

"What do you want to eat?" Lin Quan asked with a smile, breaking the silence.

"Brother Quan, roast goose!" Qin Jingru's eyes curved into crescent moons.

"Brother Zhong, I'm going home for dinner," Zhao Ya said softly.

"Aya, come eat with us, it'll be more fun with more people," Qin Jingru said with a smile, trying to persuade her to stay.

The two shared a hot meal, and Lin Quan dropped her off at her apartment building.

"Brother Quan, Zhao Ya will be yours sooner or later." Qin Jingru looked at the taillights of the car, her tone filled with bitterness and certainty.

"This isn't my fault, it's your fault for being too lenient." Lin Quan shrugged and gently pushed the pot away.

Qin Jingru was speechless—even with her cousin's help, she still couldn't do anything about him.

The next morning, Lin Quan traveled back to Earth, stepped on the gas, and headed straight for his destination.

More than three hours later, the SUV stopped in front of the rusty metal warehouse.

He swung his axe, a flash of cold light, and with a clang, the alloy chain, as thick as a child's arm, snapped in two.

"Thirty long poles, one hundred short sticks, and six thousand steel balls—all prepared as you instructed."

"Long Fei has connections everywhere and can easily obtain iron materials, yet he chose to come to me, clearly indicating that he is considering my worth."

He put on thick leather gloves and deftly stuffed the long rod, short stick, and steel balls into the shockproof box.

After returning to Earth, he found a secluded open space and carefully unloaded the entire batch of iron goods.

Back at the villa in Shanshui Bay, he dialed Long Fei's number and gave him the coordinates of the hidden goods.
