Rosen left Letty’s apartment before 11 a.m. and drove to Johnny Chen’s Korean restaurant.

Intelligence 3 states that the Korean restaurant uses illegal meat sources and conducts transactions at midnight.

This timing coincides with the time of the Dominic and Johnny Chen trade.

Rosen felt that this situation might be useful, so he went to the scene to confirm it.

However, halfway there, Rosen suddenly received a call from Neil, and realized that it was time for his weekly report again.

"Hey, your aunt wants to call you home for dinner."

"I'm sorry, Peter isn't here."

Using the same code, Rosen's brain started working at high speed. He suddenly felt that the FBI might be able to help him.

However, compared to the LAPD, the FBI is definitely more difficult to control, so it must be handled carefully.

"Rosen, have you successfully infiltrated the Bonanno family?"

"No, my plan failed."

These words made Nilton a little anxious, after all, he originally had no expectations of Rosen as his informant.

However, Rosen's previous intelligence was like buying a two-dollar scratch card and winning the grand prize, successfully luring Neil into a trap.

The huge gap made it impossible for Neil to accept Rosen's defeat.

"Hey, didn't you know? Those two Bonanno official members involved in the Pacific Standard Bank operation have been arrested by your people. How can I infiltrate the Bonanno family now that they've been arrested?"

"Fuck! How could this happen!"

Neil was unaware of this matter. Sean Arthur was his equal, so there was no need for him to report on the case.

"I'll go to the station tomorrow and ask! Rosen, don't worry, keep following this lead; maybe there are other ways to infiltrate the Bonanno family!"

It's clear that Neil has been completely hooked by the Bonanno family. He's like a greedy fish, only seeing the bait and not noticing the hook inside.

So, Rosen timely threw out a second bait to lure Neil.

"By the way, Neil, I heard a rumor today that's also related to the Bonanno family, but I'm not sure if it's true or not."

Tell me about it!

"I heard that the head of the Bonanno family will be having dinner at a restaurant tomorrow night. I wonder if it's true."

Rosen did not reveal the accurate information, because it would seem highly suspicious if he knew it so accurately in his current identity.

"The leaders of the Bonanno family are having a dinner gathering? Is something big about to happen? Where did you get this information?"

This information immediately excited Neil.

"I overheard some Italians at the next table talking when I was drinking at a bar, but because the bar was too noisy, I didn't hear the exact location of their gathering. I only heard the words 'Korean' and 'grilled meat'."

"Korean food and barbecue? Is it a Korean barbecue restaurant? I think I know where it is!"

In 2000, Korean BBQ was not yet popular, and there were very few Korean BBQ restaurants in Los Angeles, so Neil quickly set his sights on it.

"Neil, this intelligence must be worth a lot of money, right? When are you going to settle the payment? I'm almost starving!"

"You can still afford to drink, so why can't you eat? Alright, I'll give you a tip after I confirm the accuracy of your information tomorrow!"

"How much can you give?"

"Up to $5000!"

Only 5000?

Rosen pursed his lips. He knew that $5000 was a lot, but it was still far less than his previous income.

That's exactly equivalent to the information fee for a 2-star job in the Harvest Day app.

However, Rosen still had to pretend to be very happy.

"Great! I've been waiting for your good news, Neil!"

Neil hung up the phone quickly, and Rosen continued driving the Dodge Viper to the Korean restaurant.

Johnny Chen's Korean restaurant is located on the outskirts of a Korean community in downtown Los Angeles, and when Lawson arrived, he found that the restaurant was still open.

It's rare to see restaurants in America open this late; usually only fast food chains like KFC or McDonald's are open 24 hours.

After all, it's not safe in America at night. There's always the chance that someone with camouflage at night will come to your door to borrow money and never pay it back.

Many shops close at night not because they have no business, but simply because it's unsafe to open at night.

Rosen parked the car and was about to get out when he saw a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 parked not far away, which was Brian's car.

It seems Brian has arrived, so Rosen can't reveal himself.

After a moment's thought, Lawson drove his Dodge Viper away from the Korean restaurant, parked it in a relatively secluded spot, and then got out of the car wearing a clown mask.

After taking a closer look at the Korean restaurant, I noticed that both the front and back entrances were equipped with surveillance cameras, indicating that Johnny Chen was quite cautious.

I glanced at my watch; it was 11:30. There was still half an hour before the meat was delivered from the illegal factory.

So Rosen went around to the back door of the Korean restaurant, installed two spy pens in a place where the surveillance cameras couldn't see them, and then found a corner to wait quietly.

At 12 o'clock, the Korean restaurant closed, and Lawson saw Brian come out of it. This guy was probably pretending to be a customer to scout things out, but he didn't know if he had any success.

At 12:05, an unremarkable refrigerated truck with no commercial markings and only a phone number pulled up at the back door of the Korean restaurant.

Rosen took out his phone and connected the spy pen to the app on his phone to watch the live footage of the event.

The spy pen's camera was incredibly clear, far clearer than most recordings of this era, allowing Rosen to clearly see Johnny Chen's face.

"Mike, you're five minutes late!"

"There was nothing I could do; the car broke down a little on the road, but thankfully it wasn't too late."

"Did you get the meat I wanted?"

"Of course! It's absolutely authentic Wagyu beef! Chen, why did you suddenly want such high-end meat?"

"We need to use only the best meat to welcome a group of VIPs!"

"VIPs? What kind of VIPs can your restaurant accommodate?"

"None of your business! Get the meat in the cold storage right now, I'm closing up shop!"

Next up is the refrigerated truck driver, half-meat.

Rosen thought for a moment, then prepared to get on the refrigerated truck, find out the location of the illegal factory, and then drive the truck away.

Just as they were about to take action, Rosen saw the spy pen's camera capture a suspicious blond man.

Isn't that Brian?

It turned out that this guy hadn't left at all; instead, he was hiding in the distance, observing, just like Rosen.

Judging from this, Brian probably had the same idea as Rosen: to find the location of the illegal factory and then drive away in its refrigerated truck.

That's incredibly audacious. If Brian were discovered, he might be beaten to death on the spot.

"All done! Chen, can we pay the bill now?"
