Although the film crew was in a hurry, they suppressed their curiosity and did not follow Lin Jiu into the ward. They stood far away outside the door, like thieves, wanting to record exciting scenes but still keeping to their limits.

Because of the concern of upsetting Lin Jiuze, the camera was kept at a distance, moving back and forth in the narrow gaps, switching between Lin Jiuze and the patients and their caregivers.

"Is this production crew crazy?" Director Liu yelled upon seeing this. "Couldn't they have found a cameraman who doesn't have Parkinson's?"

Director Bai didn't speak; his eyes narrowed.

"Old Bai, what are you looking at?" Director Liu asked curiously.

Director Bai picked up his handbag and took out a notebook and a ballpoint pen. Throughout the entire process, Director Bai's eyes never left the screen.

"Bai Chu, you..."

"Shh~" Director Liu pulled Ding Xiang, the owner of Yiyang, and gestured for him to be quiet.

Director Bai held a pen in his hand, watching Lin Jiuze's gestures, and then wrote something in his notebook.

Director Liu leaned closer and saw that what Section Chief Bai had written down first was—Alteplase for injection, rt-PA.

This is a recombinant tissue plasminogen activator, which is different from the urokinase commonly used in clinical practice. It is much more effective for thrombolysis.

Lin Jiu looked up, but didn't talk to the patient. Then he lowered his head and wrote something on the paper.

Director Liu was completely baffled.

The treatment plan on paper is more detailed, including not only alteplase for injection, but also the usage, dosage, and other related medications.

"And then?" Director Liu still looked completely bewildered.

Director Bai didn't know what happened next. He just saw Lin Jiu look up after finishing writing, and then look down again to write the treatment plan.

"Surgery doesn't seem to be an option either, Lin Jiu thinks it's not good either. The third treatment option is catheter-directed thrombolysis, with a large dosage," Director Bai said, "but it still doesn't seem to be working."

"The last treatment option is thrombectomy, which is the simplest."

"Old Bai, is this how Massachusetts General Hospital treats patients?" Director Liu asked, bewildered.

"Yes, when I first came to the hospital, I heard people say that he was a legendary figure," Director Liu said. "No matter who it was, they all looked at Director Han with admiration."

"Director Han? Who's that?" Ding Xiang asked.

"Some people came to the hospital to collect protection money."

"Damn it!" Ding Xiang cursed, "Was it that chaotic back then?"

"!!!"

"That's all from back then, things were so chaotic. The reason our Second Affiliated Hospital is able to compete for second place and even be ranked first is because Director Han solved countless problems back then. Those weren't medical disputes; compared to the problems Director Han solved, medical disputes are a joke."

As he spoke, Director Liu pressed on, "Old Bai, what happened to Director Han?"

"When I first went to the government office, Director Han was seriously ill. I respected the old man, so I asked for an extra bed in the VIP ward and he was available whenever I called in the corridor."

"When Director Han was first admitted to the hospital, an elderly man wearing a traditional Chinese jacket came in. He looked ethereal and otherworldly. He took one look at him, didn't even take his pulse, and said that he had only 3 days left to live."
