Healing Doctor
Chapter 213 Bullying from the Doctor
Chapter 213 Bullying from the Doctor (Part 2)
Without experiencing it firsthand, one absolutely cannot understand why Dr. Yang, who looks like Chow Yun-fat, would act like someone with obsessive-compulsive disorder, immediately concluding upon seeing the small white spots that they were genital warts caused by his own lack of hygiene.
Did he not know that there was such a disease as genital cancer?
Of course he knew. Ji Xiang was well aware of this. Even someone who wasn't a dermatologist knew this, so how could a dermatologist in his prime not know?
However, he stubbornly believed that it was genital warts.
Ji Xiang pondered the specific logic, but he couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he tried.
When I got home, a silly husky rushed towards me.
The gloom in Ji Xiang's heart lessened a little.
He styled his hair in a bun, changed his shoes, and sat down on the sofa. The husky, with its bright blue eyes, stared at Ji Xiang and sat obediently beside him.
His head was so bald from being coiled up that it looked just like Colonel Wang.
Ji Xiang burst out laughing.
Is this considered finding joy in hardship? Ji Xiang didn't want to suppress himself too much. He just wanted to enjoy the ending he already knew. For example, he didn't want to become that seemingly serious but actually the most unserious Dr. Yang in the future.
"Vegetable dumplings," Ji Xiang called softly.
The vegetable dumpling stuck out its tongue and turned its head to stare at Ji Xiang with its bright blue eyes.
As Ji Xiang coiled his dog's head around his neck, he pondered his "encounter" that day. He felt that he had been corrupted after using the "superior doctor's gaze" for a while, and he had just wanted to throw the medical record at Dr. Yang's face.
But is it really okay for genital cancer to be ignored like this?
After some time, the sound of a key turning in the lock came from behind the door.
"I'm back." Ji Xiang greeted them, trying to act normal, as he didn't want his family to worry about him.
When her lover came home, she was surprised that she didn't say anything, but instead started packing her things.
"Where are you going?" Ji Xiang asked in surprise.
He was met with a glare.
Ji Xiang felt a chill run down his spine; he vaguely guessed what might have happened.
"You old lecher! How old are you and still have no shame! Go out and find some wild women..." The woman cursed for a while, looking extremely angry.
Finally, she spat angrily, slammed the door, and left.
Old man, indecent...
Shameless...
really.
Although the city is not big, it shouldn't have spread this fast.
Ji Xiang was somewhat depressed and troubled.
Only the husky stayed at home with him. Ji Xiang poked the dog's head while sadly comparing his feelings to the one he had experienced last time.
Clearly, the damage caused by the dermatologist's misdiagnosis was at the MAX level, carrying psychological damage attributes, similar to a witch's roar.
As the night deepened, Cai Tuanzi, exhausted, lay down beside him and began to snore.
Ji Xiang, however, felt no sleepiness whatsoever. His heart was ice-cold as he felt the power of the mental damage.
The system NPC didn't stop him from experiencing this empathy; perhaps in his view, a total mastectomy for Ding cancer was tolerable, while the mental attack from the dermatologist was far more severe.
As I savored the flavor, dawn gradually broke.
Ji Xiang considered it over and, in order to survive, decided to try again.
Even though he felt the same way, Ji Xiang didn't want to sit idly by and wait for his fate.
Thinking of this, Ji Xiang became worried. No one was home; what would he do with the vegetable dumplings?
"Vegetable dumplings." Ji Xiang woke up the husky that had been keeping him company all night. When he met the blue, silly eyes of the husky, Ji Xiang's nose suddenly stung with tears.
Tears streamed down his face; Ji Xiang never expected himself to be so vulnerable.
"I need to go out for a while. There's no one to take care of you. I'd like to send you to a foster home," Ji Xiang said, choking back tears.
The vegetable dumpling seemed to understand. It didn't act like a husky, but rather like a child, nudging Ji Xiang's hand with its head.
It seemed like she was trying to comfort him, but also like she was reluctant to part with Ji Xiang.
A man and his dog sat silently at home, and Ji Xiang let his tears fall.
It wasn't because of Ding's cancer that Ji Xiang felt empty inside, and the pain he felt was far greater than when his liver cancer had spread and he was in complete physical failure and waiting to die.
But no matter how painful it is, we must say goodbye. Living is an obsession, and empathy is a lifelong pursuit. Who knows if the real world is a different version of empathy?
As dawn broke, Ji Xiang took Cai Tuanzi to a familiar pet hospital nearby. They offered boarding services there, and the staff who usually bathed Cai Tuanzi were also familiar with the place.
Watching the vegetable dumplings and the kittens at the pet hospital play and frolic, Ji Xiang quietly left.
Just as I stepped out of the pet hospital, I suddenly heard a sound behind me. The young man was leading a vegetable dumpling out.
It was going to give it to him, and Ji Xiang glanced back, only to get sand in his eyes.
"Awooooo~"
He always scolded Cai Tuanzi for barking too softly and disturbing the neighbors. But hearing its barking now, Ji Xiang couldn't bear to leave.
Hardening his heart, Ji Xiang turned around, got into the car, took one last reluctant look, and drove directly to the provincial capital.
If the doctors in your local area aren't good enough, you'll go to a higher-level hospital.
If the provincial capital isn't enough, I'll go to the capital. I refuse to believe that a case of Ding's cancer can't be properly diagnosed anywhere.
Upon arriving in the provincial capital, Ji Xiang ate a quick meal. It was already late, and all the appointments at the outpatient clinic had been booked.
He booked an appointment for tomorrow's outpatient visit.
After doing all this, Ji Xiang felt lost.
Deep down, he still felt a sense of responsibility as a doctor. Since he had nothing else to do, Ji Xiang began to "stroll" around the provincial central hospital.
There are many patients here, and it seems that only the obstetrics and gynecology department can smile happily in the hospital.
Therefore, if something goes wrong in the obstetrics and gynecology department, it's a huge deal.
Looking at the people with expressions that were either serious or tense, Ji Xiang tried to guess what they were thinking.
Unconsciously, I arrived at the emergency room, and the atmosphere suddenly became extremely strange.
Ji Xiang was startled. He instinctively felt that something serious was about to happen, and his first reaction was to seek emergency medical attention.
But the emergency room was quiet, the door was open, there were no stretchers, no smell of blood, and no humming of instruments.
The patients and their families on both sides of the corridor were silent. Looking ahead, Ji Xiang saw several menacing-looking men with tattooed arms standing at the entrance of the surgical clinic.
Uh, is this a medical malpractice case? Ji Xiang thought to himself.
Or is it the legendary fight and brawl?
Perhaps. Ji Xiang was somewhat curious because the social order was very good after he came of age, and fights were extremely rare.
Fortunately, these tattooed men followed the rules and did not point at the patients or their families in the corridor and yell at them, "What are you looking at?"
A few minutes later, a burly man stepped back, gripping the doctor's hand tightly and refusing to let go.
Moreover, he was bending over so naturally that Ji Xiang even had the illusion that he would kneel down and kowtow to the doctor at any moment.
"Dr. Zhou, thank you, thank you so much. I'm so grateful. If it weren't for you, I'm afraid I wouldn't have the face to live anymore."
The burly man bowed as he spoke, his strong waist appearing surprisingly flexible, his head almost touching the ground.
