Monsters: Evolving from Titans to Ancient Gods

Chapter 47 Re-examining the Surface

Goldras is a new generation of spacetime monster born in the spacetime realm. Currently, it has no parents and wanders alone in the spacetime realm for many years.

Despite being a young monster, it has a grand ambition: to evolve into a life form that surpasses King Goldras through its own power.

It has already been given a resounding name for that level that no one of its kind has ever reached before.

"Hypa Goldras"

It firmly believes that as time-space monsters, they are the strongest of all monsters, and once they reach that level, they will be invincible.

Of course, invincibility is a matter for the future. For now, its greatest hobby is to roam the space-time realm, learning the abilities of its own kind and other space-time monsters.

Until one day, during a routine journey through spacetime, it sensed a familiar yet unfamiliar fluctuation in spacetime.

It resembled a rainbow realm similar to Hilbargon's, but with some differences, which piqued its interest. So it expended a little effort to break into this unfamiliar space-time realm.

However, as soon as he entered, Goldras saw an incredibly tall and strangely-looking Hilbagun get off a monster.

However, the words he uttered left Goldras frozen in place, his expression blank.

Does this guy think he's stupid?

I am young, but I am not unintelligent.

He was a rare genius among the spacetime monsters, and his strength and potential had been recognized by many of his kind.

The fact that it receives such high praise among the cold and ruthless monster race is enough to prove that it is extraordinary.

However, this creature, which resembled a subspecies of Hilbagon, treated Goldras as a fool, which annoyed Goldras, and its eyes revealed a hint of disdain.

Are you trying to fool idiots?

Although Goldras made no movement or sound, its posture and expression said it all.

Despite this, Longbo remained intrigued, curiously examining the monster that had once terrified him.

"What about Hilbargon, with whom you have a good relationship?"

Longbo was somewhat puzzled. He vaguely remembered that the last time they met, it had come looking for Hilbargon.

Goldras sensed no malice from Lombre, and considering the presence of the same-origin spacetime dimension ability within him, it reasoned that despite Lombre's strange appearance, he might be a new subspecies, and thus gradually lowered its guard.

It answered Longbo as it looked at the huge monster behind him.

Although there are many instances where time-space monsters like Goldras and Silvergon have a good relationship.

But at this moment, it was not accompanied by its close friend, Silvergon; it was the youngest time-space monster in the entire time-space realm.

The Hilbaguns scattered across different time periods are all adult individuals, so it's impossible for them to play together.

"I see." Longbo said thoughtfully, suddenly remembering that the Silvergon he had seen was indeed a small, sub-adult.

By then, Goldras had fully matured and was evolving towards a higher level.

Looking at it this way, the Hilbagun he had seen was much younger than Goldras.

Hilbargon, who pounced on him the moment he saw him, was not yet born.

While Longbo was pondering, Goldras unceremoniously absorbed the spacetime energy within Pandora's Realm to replenish the energy consumed by his time travel.

At the same time, it was also curiously observing the monsters that were gradually approaching from all sides. After thinking for a moment, it looked up at Long Bo and gave him a questioning look.

Are these monsters your pets?

"That's right," Longbo nodded.

Having received a definite response, Goldras seemed thoughtful; to be honest, this was the first time it had encountered so many living creatures.

Although both Goldras and Hilbagon are time-space monsters born from the time-space realm, they are actually quite different.

Goldras's abilities in the realm of time and space lean more towards time-related abilities, while Silvergon's abilities in the Rainbow Realm lean more towards space-related abilities.

It had seen many of its kind before, and several Silvergons, but it had never seen a subspecies like Lumbert that would raise other monsters into the Time-Space Realm.

Gradually, Goldras looked up at Lombard and gained a clearer understanding of him.

Their size is far greater than that of their kind, and the Rainbow Realm seems to have undergone a mutation, and they prefer to communicate using the language of tiny races.

This fellow creature... seems to be a freak.

A freak just like himself.

Goldras could tell that the Hilbagon subspecies in front of him was only slightly older than himself, and its strength, like his own, had not yet reached its peak.

This was the first time it had seen another creature of similar age. Before leaving, it took a deep look at the Hilbagon subspecies before it.

Longbo also sensed the surging power of the spacetime realm and realized it was about to leave. Just like its future self, it wouldn't waste time on meaningless things; once the communication was complete, it would turn and leave.

As Longbo watched the golden dragon gradually blur before him, he realized that this must have been its nature all along—coming in haste and leaving in a hurry.

Seeing this, Longbo bid it farewell once again.

Come visit again when you have time.

Goldras didn't know what polite words were. He paused for a moment after hearing Longbo's voice, then nodded and memorized Longbo's Pandora Magic Realm fluctuations.

The Time-Space Monsters have a history of good relations with Goldras and Silvergon. Since the Silvergon subspecies in front of him is about the same age as himself, it doesn't matter if he comes to visit often.

Goldras had no concept of politeness; having received such an invitation, it would inevitably come knocking again in the future.

Goldras disappeared into Pandora's Realm again, but Longbo remained crouched in place, seemingly lost in thought as if he had remembered something.

"Didn't I accept a quest to hunt down a golden dragon? If I just casually beat it up, would I get a reward?"

"..."

In the end, Longbo gave up thinking about it. Goldras had already left, and it was too late to say anything now.

He flipped over and mounted the golden ship behind him, leading it away from Pandora's magic realm and embarking on a journey back to the surface.

But before that, he had also dispersed the Wartdogs, driving large numbers of Netherworld creatures into his Pandora to serve as food for the Wartdogs and the Golden Ship.

About ten days later, Longbo saw a huge vortex leading to the inner world on another continent above his head.

Without any hesitation, he signaled the golden ship to head towards another continent.

The golden ship roared loudly and then galloped in the direction indicated by Longbo, leaving deep hoofprints and high-flying dust in its wake.

As it approached the whirlpool-like underground passage, the golden ship, whose strength had greatly diminished, was already panting heavily. However, under Longbo's command, it still leaped into the whirlpool and thus left the underground.
