Monsters: Evolving from Titans to Ancient Gods

Chapter 1: Primitive Man, Building a Cave!

Nine thousand years BC, the North China Plain.

Starlight blanketed the earth, and a cool breeze swept through the Neolithic tribe, making the blazing campfire burn even brighter, with wisps of embers merging into the night sky like fireflies.

The bountiful harvest of crops and game filled the inhabitants of a tribe on the banks of the Yellow River with overflowing joy. Everyone gathered together, dressed in clothes sewn from animal skins, dancing and gesturing around the campfire, creating an exceptionally lively scene.

But people's joys and sorrows are not shared, and Longbo only felt that they were making a bit of a racket.

The warm firelight shone on his bony skin exposed over the animal hide, casting a shadow on his over two-meter-tall frame, while his half-length black hair covered the two horns protruding from his forehead.

The protruding bone spurs at his elbows gleamed coldly, clearly the perfect tool for elbowing someone. Combined with the two bone blades extending from the back of his hands, they would help Longbo transform into a perfect weapon when necessary.

Although Longbo was not human in essence, he still retained the ability to speak. But under the tedium and toil of those years, he eventually fell into a long silence.

His highly ossified face couldn't show much expression. He looked at his relative dressed as a priest by the campfire and waved goodbye to her as he usually did when he was temporarily leaving.

The priestess smiled and nodded, then once again immersed herself in the joy of the harvest.

As the clan leader, Longbo withdrew his gaze, rose from the giant beast's skeleton, and slowly disappeared into the darkness, thus completely severing ties with humanity.

Beside the campfire, the relatively ornately dressed priestess suddenly realized something was wrong. She turned to look at her brother's departing figure and instinctively wanted to call out to him.

But in the end, she didn't say anything.

She knew that this blood relative, who shared the same mother as her, did not belong to this tribe, but to a wider world.

She made no sound, but went alone to the boundary between firelight and darkness to watch her blood relative depart.

The priestess did not know if she would ever have the chance to see him again in this life, so she wanted to remember her blood relative's face forever.

...

After bidding a final farewell to his human identity, Longbo activated the panel in his mind.

Name: Long Bo

Age: 13

[Race: Titan (Guardian, Juvenile)]

[Special Ability: None (Passerby Titan)]

[Power: Remediation of Environmental Pollution]

More than a decade has passed since Longbo transmigrated to this Stone Age. During this time, he has come to understand his inhuman nature.

Titan, a Titan born from among humankind.

Unlike other fellow villagers who transmigrated into non-human beings and possessed the standard ability to devour and evolve, Longbo did not start as a lizard or a single-celled organism.

He was born a Titan, which gave him a much better background.

Titans are unique to Earth and are the apex predators of the food chain. They are as large as mountains, have unlimited lifespans, and are the embodiment of natural balance.

This means that Longbo will have a body hundreds of meters tall and weighing tens of thousands of tons, an immortal lifespan, and the power to move mountains and fill seas.

Unfortunately, Luneburg seems to be just a random Titan sitting at the same table as Behemoth and Scylla.

He seems to possess only the negligible ability to passively reverse environmental pollution through the radiation emanating from his body—an ability that would seem to have little effect in ancient times—making him appear no better than the giant horseman.

However, the panel he was born with seemed to grant him limitless possibilities.

At this moment, his panel displayed a task: Find a high-radiation environment to grow, and the reward is a special ability—the ability to fine-tune flesh and blood.

Longbo has a detailed understanding of the panel and tasks. It issues tasks, and you can get some rewards after completing them.

The so-called task is not a problem if it is not completed, there will be no punishment, it can be left unattended, or even not accepted at all.

As for the ability to absorb radiation, some of the tribe's elders have died over the years, the cause of death being radiation.

Their deaths resembled the scenes Lonbo had seen in the Chernobyl documentary in his previous life, and the source, if nothing unexpected, should be Lonbo himself.

Conversely, strong and healthy people became more energetic, and the infant mortality rate dropped significantly.

Titan radiation made Lumbert feel as if he had been transported to the world of Godzilla by a steel coil that rolled off a truck's tail.

But considering the colossal beast I saw a few months ago, over seventy meters tall, covered in golden bone armor and scales, and resembling a golden dragon, this world might not be as simple as the Legendary Godzilla world.

However, given that Longbo's inhuman characteristics were becoming increasingly difficult to conceal, he no longer intended to stay in this Neolithic tribe.

Longbo didn't know how the first Titans were born, but since he didn't have Titan parents to provide him with a high-radiation environment to grow in, he had to find a suitable high-concentration radiation environment on his own.

It would be too tragic if it were to maldevelop and end up being eaten by other creatures in this world.

If this is truly the world of the legendary movies, then there are many colossal beasts here, ranging in size from a few meters to the same as Titans, with the best ones even rivaling Titans.

They are essentially gigantic super beasts. Although these powerful beings possess strength comparable to that of Titans, they still have a life cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death.

However, they are extremely dangerous to Longbo now; he feels that these creatures would most likely not mind eating a newborn Titan cub…

Longbo took one last look at the tribe in the distance, which was in chaos due to the disappearance of its leader, and then started walking along the banks of the Yellow River.

Although Longbo had only been the tribal chief for a few years, he had already taught this primitive settlement many skills and techniques that did not belong to this era.

If they hadn't experienced a period of decline, they might have been able to develop a brilliant civilization.

Its level of civilization would later be enough to leave archaeologists completely bewildered.

Guided by his body's instincts, Longbo ran wildly along one side of the riverbank and eventually disappeared into the forest.

...

The Yellow River in the early Neolithic period was far clearer than in later times, with its turbulent waters surging and its banks lush and green, and the rolling hills teeming with life.

Longbo walked along the riverbank for many days and nights, and finally found the first area with a high concentration of radiation, so he stopped.

Before him lay a lush forest, with moss-covered and weed-covered stones piled up haphazardly, and clear stream water flowing along the gaps between the stones.

Longbo squatted down, cupped his hands in his palms, and drank a mouthful of clear stream water. Soon, the smell mixed in the stream water made him realize something very serious.

This radiation zone seems to have been claimed...

Longbo's eyes underwent a subtle change. He straightened his body and searched his surroundings for any suspicious presence.

Just then, a mountain not far from Longbo suddenly trembled, and then exploded without warning, with rubble and dust cascading down like a waterfall.

A shadowy mass rose from the massive boulder that had crashed down, followed by a chilling growl.

In an instant, Longbo clearly sensed that the surrounding radiation concentration had increased dramatically, reaching an unbelievable level.

He then felt an unprecedented pressure, the intense aura causing him to involuntarily retreat.

As the dust settled, the colossal beast that had risen from the mountains revealed its form, which had blotted out the sky.

Its body resembles a large, fat monitor lizard, with thick lower limbs, slightly shorter upper limbs, and many broken scales on its head, bearing numerous scars.

The spines, shaped like swords and halberds, resemble rugged mountain peaks. The entire body is gray and black, as if it came from mythology.

"Is that Godzilla? Or Dagon? No, it shouldn't be either. Their territory isn't near the Yellow River." Despite the fact that Lonbo's highly ossified face couldn't show any expression, he still turned and ran.

He should have realized this sooner. The surface radiation concentration in this era was extremely low, and any slightly higher radiation zones should have been occupied by other Titans as resting places.

If one wants to find a suitable place to grow, there is a very high chance that one will have to fight the original owner one-on-one.

But judging from his current small stature, wanting to fight this person who is suspected to be a member of the same clan as the boss is just wishful thinking; he wouldn't even give away his life like that.

Although the anomaly had just occurred, Longbo had already run a distance, preparing to let the giant beast hear the saying "three thousand years east of the river, three thousand years west of the river" in the future.

However, soon after, another strange change occurred behind them.

"Thump..."

An unidentified atomic behemoth raised its massive, crocodile-like tail and slammed it heavily against the mountain, causing the mountain range to tremble violently, cracks to burst open, and a deafening roar that echoed for hundreds of kilometers around. The beasts that heard the sound fled in terror.

The violent tremors made it difficult for Longbo to stand, and he could only lean against the big tree next to him, turning his head in horror to meet a pair of eyes that revealed a scrutinizing look.

"..."

The atomic behemoth's eyes showed a thoughtful expression, its beastly face trembled, and it exhaled a long breath.

It recognized what the little thing at its feet was and knew why Longbo had come.

It stared at Longbo for a long time before finally turning around and taking a step, dragging its long tail as it disappeared into the mountains.

Only after it completely disappeared did Longbo come to his senses, a strange thought still lingering in his mind: "It... gave up this radiation zone?"

Longbo pondered to himself, "This doesn't seem right. Could the Titans really have such a harmonious relationship?"

But looking at the broken mountain in front of him and feeling the radiation in the air, he quickly put the question out of his mind.

"Since things have come to this, I might as well get some sleep!"

So, Longbo boldly followed the crack and crawled into the mountain where the radiation concentration was much higher than outside. He found a spacious cave, curled up, closed his eyes, and began his first deep sleep.

Your overwhelming power is unparalleled, inspiring awe in the ancient Titans, who have chosen to avoid battle. This is a great victory!

The voice that echoed in Longbo's mind left him speechless. If he hadn't almost been scared to the point of weakness just now, he would have actually believed it. There wasn't a single truth in this panel.

[Mission exceeded expectations, gaining the ability to fine-tune flesh and blood, and the Charged Particle Protoplasmic Reactor]

"But then again..."
