A Blood-Moving Realm has arrived in the world of The Return of the Condor Heroes.

Chapter 20: Three Punches Shatter the Tiger's Soul

"Let's not delay, let's set off now."

Zhang Huai said impatiently.

"Alright." Yang Guo turned to the old man. "Senior, let's go out and find some medicinal herbs."

The old man didn't even glance at them, he just waved his hand at them.

"Let's go, Brother Zhang."

The morning mist in the mountains and forests had not yet dissipated. The dewdrops that had condensed on the pine needles were blown off by the wind and rolled down silently onto the thick layer of decaying leaves.

"The resources in Zhongnan Mountain are truly abundant. In just one hour, we have found two medicinal herbs, angelica and safflower. I estimate that it won't be long before we have found all of them."

As Zhang Huai spoke, he put the angelica root into the package.

"Yes, I also want to see what the effects will be after Brother Zhang's medicinal bath."

"But it seems there aren't any more around here, let's continue deeper into the area," Zhang Huai said.

So the two continued to explore deeper into the area. The vegetation here was even more lush, with many exotic flowers and fruits that neither of them could name.

The deeper you go, the more the ancient trees block out the sun, and the light can hardly penetrate. The surrounding environment is damp, and even the air is humid.

A mountain wind, seemingly from nowhere, caused their robes to flutter loudly.

The tall grass beside them was snapped in half, and a narrow passage opened up among the branches and leaves of the bushes in the distance, just big enough for a heavy figure to pass through.

The wind suddenly stopped.

Zhang Huai looked at Yang Guo beside him and saw that he was scanning his surroundings warily.

"Brother Zhang, something's not right."

"I felt it too, it's too quiet," Zhang Huai said in a deep voice.

Suddenly, a long whistle broke the silence, and the flock of birds scattered in fright, screeching as they flew across the sky.

The surrounding leaves rustled wildly, and where the two could not see, withered leaves and branches exploded on the ground.

A sharp, tearing sound came from the side, like a giant object crashing through thorns at full speed.

Occasionally, a short, sharp "squeak" would pierce through the air, like the cry of a small animal that had barely begun before being swallowed up by the surging waves.

Suddenly, a huge creature rushed in front of the two of them.

"Brother Zhang, be careful!" Yang Guo shouted a warning.

Zhang Huai suddenly turned to the side, and a sika deer rushed past him, disappearing into the depths of the dense forest in the blink of an eye.

The bushes ahead continued to rustle, and Zhang Huai focused his attention, staring intently at the passage.

Suddenly, a ghostly green eye lit up, followed by the appearance of sharp fangs.

From among the leaves, yellow and black fur gradually emerged—a large, white-browed insect with piercing eyes was slowly walking out of the passage and coming to the two of them.

"What a relief!" Zhang Huai breathed a sigh of relief. "I thought that tigress Li Mochou was back again."

Even if Li Mochou were here now, he wouldn't be afraid.

Yang Guo looked at Zhang Huai and said in a light tone, "Brother Zhang, the tiger bone you wanted is here, isn't it?"

Zhang Huai's eyes burned as he stared intently at the giant insect before him, his body already itching to pounce.

The large, white-browed tiger with piercing eyes was also staring intently at the two of them, clearly regarding them as its prey.

"Brother Yang, don't make a move, leave it to me."

"it is good."

In the past, Zhang Huai would have turned and run away, but now he was only excited and wanted to see how many punches this big worm could take.

Since he was out searching for medicine, Zhang Huai did not bring any weapons, so he picked up a tree trunk about the thickness of an arm from the ground.

"Come on, you little beast, let me have my fill!"

The tiger opposite seemed to sense the provocation, slapping its tail hard twice on the ground and letting out a low growl.

"You dare to bare your teeth at me?"

Zhang Huai took the initiative and swung a wooden stick at the tiger.

Tiger: ? ? ? You have no sportsmanship!

Zhang Huai used all his strength to smash the wooden stick solidly onto the "王" (king) character on the tiger's head.

However, the wooden stick could not withstand such a huge impact and instantly exploded into powder, which was scattered by the wind.

Zhang Huai: ? ? ?

"Brother Tiger, do you believe me if I say I didn't do it on purpose?"

A streak of bright red blood flowed down the tiger's head.

Perhaps stimulated by the smell of blood, coupled with Zhang Huai's provocation, it revealed its ferocious nature and suddenly pounced on Zhang Huai.

Fortunately, Zhang Huai reacted quickly and managed to dodge the attack using the rudimentary "Nine Palaces Eight Trigrams Steps".

The tiger missed its target and its gaze became even more ferocious.

"No, Tiger, are you serious? I already said it was a joke, you can't take a joke, can you?"

Zhang Huai dodged and stammered, but he didn't dare to slow down his pace.

The tiger didn't care about any of that. Ever since it came out of the woods, it had been running rampant in the depths of Zhongnan Mountain. Anyone who saw it would run for their life and never suffer a defeat. Now, it had suffered such a great humiliation at the hands of a "little skinny monkey".

Without a word, it turned around, bringing with it a bloody wind and a low growl as it pounced again.

"Heh." Zhang Huai scoffed coldly.

He slid through the tiger's body with a sliding tackle, but unfortunately, he didn't have a knife in his hand.

He intended to punch the tiger and send it flying, but his arms were too short and the tiger pounced too high, so his punch missed completely.

Before the tiger could land, Zhang Huai quickly got up.

When the tiger landed, he had already rushed behind it, leaped with all his might, and sat on its back.

The tiger sensed the "little skinny monkey" on its back and quickly shook its body, trying to shake Zhang Huai off.

At this moment, Zhang Huai had already gripped the tiger's fur tightly, his hands digging into its flesh.

The tiger, in pain, roared to the sky and shook even more violently.

But Zhang Huai was already firmly seated, no matter how much it shook, he remained as steady as a mountain.

He swung his fist and smashed it squarely onto the tiger's head.

The tiger let out a mournful roar, but still tried desperately to shake Zhang Huai off.

"Oh ho, you actually withstood this punch, the culmination of twenty years of skill? How about another one?"

After saying that, he swung another punch, slamming it down hard.

The tiger immediately collapsed to the ground, but continued to howl in pain.

Without wasting any more words, Zhang Huai gathered his strength and slammed down again.

Blood splattered all over Zhang Huai's face, and the tiger became completely still.

Three punches! Just three punches.

The former king of beasts now lay on the ground like a dead dog before Zhang Huai.

Zhang Huai couldn't help but wonder in his heart, "Has this tiger become a spirit? It could probably be called a mountain lord by now."

"Brother Zhang, you've got some skill! Such a big worm couldn't even last five rounds against you. Even I, without a weapon, would have to fight it for a long time."

Yang Guo leaped down from the tree, his eyes filled with amazement, and applauded Zhang Huai.

"A beast is a beast. Even if it knows it can't win, it won't run away. At its speed, if it really wanted to run, I might not be able to catch it."

Zhang Huai wiped the blood from his face and shook his slightly sore arm.

"Brother Zhang is truly powerful. If you get close, even if the Five Greats came, it would only take one punch," Yang Guo joked with a smile.

"I wouldn't dare. Each of the Five Masters is an exceptional individual; how could they be defeated so easily by me?"

Zhang Huai quickly waved his hand, but his face was full of smugness.

"What a pleasant surprise! The medicinal bath will be even more effective when I get back."
