Jujutsu Kaisen: I have everything I need now!

Chapter 81 Heading to the Platform

late at night.

A black heavy transport helicopter weaves through the clouds.

The roar of the propellers was deafening. The cabin lights were off; only the faint green light from the instrument panel illuminated the three men's faces.

Otsuyuta sat by the window with his eyes closed, the long sword lying across his knees.

Kugisaki Nobara is checking her nail stockpile, neatly inserting the engraved nails into the slots of her belt.

Zhenyi sat opposite them, holding the "Black Queen" in her hand.

The new moon did not manifest a physical form, but floated on the top of the cabin as a spirit, overlooking the dark sea below.

"Target spotted."

The pilot's tense voice could be heard from the cockpit.

The helicopter began to descend.

Through the porthole, everyone finally saw the deep-sea exploration platform called "Number Seventeen".

It was a colossal structure, with several massive steel pillars driven deep into the seabed, supporting the work deck above, which was as large as a football field.

But at this moment, the platform, which should have been brightly lit, was deathly silent.

There were no lights, and no radio response.

Under the sweeping beam of the helicopter searchlight, the entire platform was revealed to everyone.

"hiss......"

Kugizaki gasped.

The entire platform was completely covered by a thick layer of black, viscous substance. The mucus, like living tissue, was still slightly wriggling under the bright light of the searchlight.

Cranes, containers, and living quarters were all covered by this black substance. From a distance, it didn't look like a human industrial facility at all, but rather like a giant tumor floating on the sea.

"How many shadows must have gathered together to form this scale?" Yigu opened his eyes, his hand already gripping the hilt of his sword.

"No, there aren't many."

The voice on the first day of December became extremely solemn.

"This entire layer of slime... is all the same thing."

"What do you mean?" Zhenyi asked.

"It's a unified whole. All the shadow soldiers here, and possibly even those humans who were devoured, have all merged into one giant life form. The entire platform is its body."

"Prepare to rappel!" the pilot shouted. "The wind speed is too high; we can't land. We'll have to hover you five meters above the deck!"

The hatch was suddenly pulled open.

The violent sea wind, mixed with salty rain, instantly filled the cabin.

"I'll go first!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Etsuyuu grabbed the rope and leaped into the darkness.

"Urika!"

As Yigu called out, a huge, scale-covered arm appeared out of thin air, grabbing the helicopter's landing gear with one hand and catching Yigu as he fell, gently placing him on the platform with the other.

Kugizaki followed closely behind, sliding down the rope.

Zhenyi took a deep breath and was about to grab the rope when her body suddenly felt light.

December enveloped her with her telekinesis and floated her out of the cabin, landing steadily beside Otsuki and Kugizaki.

After the helicopter completed its deployment, it immediately gained altitude and quickly withdrew from the dangerous airspace.

The sound of the propellers gradually faded into the distance.

All that remained on the platform was the howling sea wind and the roar of waves crashing against the pillars.

As everyone stepped onto the deck, it felt like they were walking on a giant piece of rotting flesh, soft and sticky, with black slime constantly clinging to the soles of their shoes as they tried to climb up.

"This feels disgusting." Kugizaki stomped his foot hard, trying to shake off the slime, but the stuff stuck to him like chewing gum.

December floated beside Zhenyi, its eyes gleaming with light.

"It has spotted us."

Before he could finish speaking...

The black slime beneath their feet suddenly began to churn violently.

"Back off!" Yigu shouted, drawing his long sword.

On the deck ahead, a thick layer of black slime suddenly bulged upwards. It had no fixed shape, looking like giant black tentacles rising from the mud.

"Is this the Alien Corps?"

Mayi raised the "Black Queen" and pulled the trigger on one of its tentacles without hesitation.

"Bang!"

The black energy blast pierced through the tentacle in an instant.

In the past, this single shot would have been enough to annihilate the enemy. But this time, the situation was completely different.

A fist-sized hole appeared on the pierced tentacle, but in less than a second, the surrounding black slime quickly rushed in and filled the hole perfectly.

"it's useless!"

Kugizaki shouted, already holding three long nails between his fingers.

"Since it doesn't have a fixed shape, let's blow this entire area up!"

Kugizaki swung his arm, and three nails shot into the surging slime in front of him in a triangular formation.

"burst!"

The curse exploded, sending black slime flying everywhere.

But to everyone's dismay, the shattered slime that fell back onto the deck immediately reassembled, even transforming into more and smaller tentacles, like a giant black spider web that blanketed the three of them.

"Physical attacks and simple spell explosions can only shatter its form, but cannot cause substantial damage," Yuta Ekiku quickly judged. Instead of blindly swinging his sword, he continuously poured spell power into the blade.

"Rika, tear it open!"

The colossal, super-grade cursed vengeful spirit, Rika, manifested its complete form behind Eto. She let out a deafening roar, her thick arms shooting out to seize the massive black net that had descended upon them, tearing it apart with a brutal rip!

"Sizzle—!"

Rika tore the black slime net in two with sheer brute force.

But the aliens' counterattack was much faster than they had imagined.

The torn slime didn't fall off; instead, it wrapped around Rika's arm. The slime was like a high-strength industrial acid, sizzling and corroding the moment it came into contact with Rika's cursed body.

"Rika!" Otsuko's expression changed.

Don't get distracted!

The stern shouts of the first day of the twelfth month echoed in Zhenyi's mind.

"Watch your step!"

Zhenyi suddenly lowered her head.

Unbeknownst to her, the black slime beneath her feet had silently coalesced into a blurry human face. That face had no features, only a gigantic, abyssal maw.

"Damn it!"

Just as Zhenyi was about to back away, the huge mouth suddenly bit down on her ankle.

A tremendous pulling force came.

Zhenyi suddenly felt her feet sink into the ground, and she lost her balance, falling into the bottomless black mud below.

"Mayi!"

Kugizaki tried to reach out and pull, but another thick tentacle lashed out from the side, forcing her to swing her hammer to block.

"Bang!"

The immense force sent Kugizaki flying, hammer and all, flying, crashing heavily into a shipping container.

"Don't even think about it!"

On the first day of the twelfth month, a great golden light shone in his eyes.

"rise!"

An immense burst of psychic power erupted instantly, transforming into an invisible hand that firmly grasped the falling Zhenyi.

The two forces reached a stalemate in mid-air. The alien swarm's slime was frantically dragging downwards, while December's telekinesis was desperately pulling upwards.

"Let her go!"

Etogu Yuta leaped up, and the long sword in his hand burst forth with a dazzling white light.

This white light not only contained immense magical power, but also mixed with the positive energy of a reversal spell. Since ordinary magical attacks were ineffective, let's try using the most lethal poison against cursed spirits!

"Whoosh!"

A flash of white light, and the clump of slime that had been biting May's ankle let out a shrill hiss the moment it came into contact with the Reversal Technique. It finally released its grip and vanished in a puff of black smoke.

On the first day of December, Zhenyi was safely pulled back to the top of the container.

"Are you alright?" December 1st revealed a semi-transparent figure, with beads of sweat unusually appearing on his forehead. The opponent's strength in that brief tug-of-war was astonishing.

"I'm alright." Mayi gasped for breath, looking down at the churning deck below with lingering fear. "This guy... he wasn't fighting us at all, he was hunting."

"It wants to drag us all into its body and digest us."

Yuta Etsuko returned to Kugisaki's side and helped her up.

The four people stood back to back on top of the container, watching the black slime around them constantly churning, reforming, and rising like ocean waves.

The slime gradually formed a high wall around them, completely trapping them in the center of the platform.

And on that high black wall, a mask slowly emerged.

It was a mask twisted like an octopus, with tentacles growing all over its lower half, and a pair of white eyes without pupils staring intently at them.

Alien Corps General.

"Intruder..."

A very viscous sound, like bubbles bursting, came from all directions.

"Become...nourishment for the deep sea..."

As General Rasu's voice fell, the surrounding black walls crashed down on the four people on top of the container like a collapsing building!

There was nowhere to retreat, nowhere to hide.

"Tch, what a load of nonsense."

Kugizaki Nobara spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva, but showed no sign of panic.

She pulled something out of her pouch—a small, still-wriggling piece of black slime left behind after Yi Gu had severed it with a reversal spell.

She threw the slime on the ground, raised the hammer high in her hand, and aimed a long nail engraved with runes at the core of the slime.

"Who do you think I am?"

Kugizaki's eyes flashed with a violent, magical light.

"As long as you have even a shred of karma in this world, I'll travel through the internet and smash your head in!"

"The Spell of the Straw Spirit—"

The hammer whistled through the air as it slammed down.

"【resonance】!"

"Thump—!!!"
